Whitney is the greatest Female vocalist ever. Her *tone, diction, lyric phrasing, song interpretation, vibrato, perfect pitch, control, clarity & power* is unmatched.
For a long time I have thought this was up there with the best recorded live vocals to exist. Whitney is no doubt in the top 5, could make an argument that she was the best ever.
Few vocalists make it sound so effortless like Whitney does, singing such a difficult piece. Also, that vibrato of hers... goodness. Always a pleasure to listen to.
Greatest singer of all time! Whitney wasn’t even trying in this performance and it’s still legendary. My favorite performance of I have nothing is radio city hall1993 and Philadelphia 1994. Both are on UA-cam!
I learned recently from a Whitney Houston binge that she literally was conducting the band with her hand and arm gestures at every live performance. She was a flawless conductor as well as the greatest vocalist who has ever lived! RIP Queen Whitney!
A bit of trivia--Whitneys mother, Cissy Houston, founded a group of singers called the Sweet Inspirations. At one time they were backup for Elvis, Another member of the Sweet inspirations was Lee Warwick the mother of Dionne Warwick
Great reaction, I love it when your both together, you so compliment each other, and pretty funny i might add. not to mention, you're both so beautiful and fun, thank you..
Lobe your honest opinions, this ws actually from the 93 billboard music awards where she won a record 11 awards in one night for the bodyguard, she was on top of the world. Please look At some of her other live performances like her South African concert the following year! This woman was the last of the Titans! Beauty, grace, and vocal and musical genius all in one vessel!
It's so wonderful to watch you two and hear Whitney! I remember when Whitney rose to fame when I was in high school in the 80's and she was AMAZING!! A STAR!! Her voice was not like anything many people had heard before. Thanks for sharing.
Thats what you call singing from your heart and not your head! This is something a vocal teacher cant teach! It's a feeling and mastering your voice allows the freedom to do what you feel!
I absolutely think Whitney is the all time great but I would give a four way tie for the guys, between Luther, Freddy, Stevie and.........drum roll...............Peabo Bryson.
When you're able to control your dynamics, and not go overly loud on your belts, you don't have to do the mic technique where you pull away on your belts. I just came from another reactor who explained that about the mic, and you guys are basically making that comment about Whitney, Without realizing that that's the reason why she's able to do that without moving away from the mic, it's because she's not overly blasting her voice.
I just want to say how wonderful it is too see people so moved and touched by her voice...I am truly a Whitney fan from back when she sang a duet with Jermaine Jackson called 'take good care of my heart"...She was incredible then..if you really want to hear her experiment with notes out of this worls go to Whitney Houston opening for Luther Vandross and listen to the duet "Nobody loves Me" with her brother..OMG...do a reaction video to that..will blow your mind...she hits notes that i didn't even think could come out of someone's mouth...She is truly the 8th wonder of the world...GOD gave us her and came and took her back...I also want to commend you guys for the incredible critique of her voice..I love how knowledgeable you are about vocal skills...
It would be cool to watch a video with a voice teacher and singer react to "A Quiet Place." The performance is simply a gospel masterpiece and one clear example of why she was one of the greatest voices (regardless of musical genre) of all time.
Whitney Houston is the benchmark of female vocalists. If there is a better one I'm not aware. Her range is extraordinary and her high notes seem to be reached with near perfection and appears effortlessly. Taken from us too soon. Miss her.
Please react to Whitney Houston's Welcome Home Heroes The Greatest Love of All Time performance, Whitney Houston 's Grammy performance of One Moment in Time and Whitney Houston 's Arsenio Hall Show performance of All The Man I need. I haven't yet seen reactions to those performances. Thanks in advance!
Linor could you react to Freddie Mercury's Time waits for no one? It was remixed again and now has only voice and piano, one of the best performances of Freddie
Please do another Whitney video - there are so many amazing ones out there. You could do "A Quiet Place", for example. It's not a big PERFORMANCE in the way this is, but it would be a fantastic one to analyze the purity of her vocals
Hello from Delhi. This is my first look at your channel. Seeing Whitney got my attention. This is my favorite performance of hers or of anyone's. Classy of you to skip over the bit when Whitney is interrupted.
Nani has my favorite sort of female voice: lower and smooth. Suzanne Pleshette is one of my all time favorite voices and Nani has just joined the club. Linor's wonderful, sweet, self-effacing technique, combined with Nani's comfortable voice, is a great way to spend a few minutes on the web.
Whitney was so great! She had Beauty, and style. She was sweet and caring. She was so Sexy but not too much. She had an Angelic voice with God given talent. She had Fame and Fortune. She signed (2) - 100 Million dollar recording contract's with Arista records, that's 200 Million dollars. Plus Millions more from being a singer, songwriter, actress, producer:$ and so on! She had a giving heart and donated so much money and time helping children. (I), (we) will always love you forever Whitney Houston! 💜🎼🎤🏆
Very nice reactions to Whitney thank you for that... one person I’ve been following for a bit of time is Angelina Jordan she did a tribute to Whitney Houston…(I have nothing) I believe at the age of 12....She does A dedication to Aretha Franklin... Billie holiday... Adele/Amy Winehouse/ she won Norway’s got talent at the age of seven... a song written by Sonny Bono Bang Bang... A song by Billie holiday (I’m a fool to want you A cappella) A screaming Jay Hawkins tune(I put a spell on you) at the age of nine... Roberta Flack song ( The first time ever I saw your face) Queens Bohemian Rhapsody on America’s got talent/Elton John yellow brick road ... Whitney Houston song (I will always love you)...Tributed to Whitney Houston.... over 130 covers... and three original songs she wrote... I think you’ll have a lot wonder and amazement with this young singer from faraway Norway... Enjoy...

No-one will ever compare.👍
Whitney's Vibrato was so perfect! I love it. She's the most awarded female act of all time! Guinness World Records! 🏆🎼
And it's the perfect amount pleasing to the ear not to overused or heavy
She has very rich tone and her voice is so powerful and seems effortless....one of the greatest!
"We're already biased". You're right, but... she won 11 awards only that night for a reason.
She broke the record that night for having 11 billboard awards in just one night.
Whitney was definitely one of the best singers ever. Love her live performances.
Not ONE of the best. She was THE best.😊
For a long time I have thought this was up there with the best recorded live vocals to exist. Whitney is no doubt in the top 5, could make an argument that she was the best ever.

A bit of trivia--Whitneys mother, Cissy Houston, founded a group of singers called the Sweet Inspirations. At one time they were backup for Elvis, Another member of the Sweet inspirations was Lee Warwick the mother of Dionne Warwick

Hello, please react to Whitney singing "Why does it hurt so bad" live..so amazing..😘
Nothing like Whitney in her prime! A true vocal and performance master!!
Whitney has one of the greatest voices of all time, and her musicality and performance was amazing. The control she had over the audience was crazy.
She was so blessed and didn't know it. She didn't know how much we loved her ❤! She had it! Looks, talent and THAT VOICE!!!
Whitney made singing so effortless. Such a tremendous loss of us. Fortunately her music will live on forever.
Whitney is the most purest epidemy of what's Heaven sent! A gift to us all and irreplaceable.
I've been saying online for years how Freddie Mercury is the best male singer and Whitney is the best female singer.
Greg W Luther Vandross is the best male singer.
@@richerprior5961 Yep you cant touch Luther.
I absolutely think Whitney is the all time great but I would give a four way tie for the guys, between Luther, Freddy, Stevie and.........drum roll...............Peabo Bryson.
T Al Green, Sam Cooke, Marvin Gaye, Donny Hathaway and Otis Redding enters the chat....
Dimash is the best singer in the world. Period.
He only needs better music to sing
She had given much in most of her live performances. This just another great performance of her

At around 7 min. She throws out her chewing gum and just belts it with everything she has.
no ,that was a hair in her mouth
@@younesson6452 no it was a sweet for her throat as she was ill
She was sick it was a cough drop.
This it was her hair caught on her lip stick❤️

It would be cool to watch a video with a voice teacher and singer react to "A Quiet Place." The performance is simply a gospel masterpiece and one clear example of why she was one of the greatest voices (regardless of musical genre) of all time.
Amazing reaction. Whitney was one of the most natural singers ever. Like y'all said, she wasn't thinking AT ALL.

We really miss Nippy. I remember his performance as a child. I wept.

And Of Course Whitney Houston Can Sing So Good She Come From A Family Of Singers.
