@@joshdullard thank you for watching!
I have the focus rat on my save for later list on B&H. I think that’s like middle ground as far as pricing and quality goes. Over all I love the idea of using a saddle bag vs the other riding options for the type of shoots I do.
@@teolopez yeah I really like mine. It gives that handheld look minus the jitters
Great job! I always watch solo creators because it's easy for me to relate. I try never to rely on the sun for long interviews because there's always fluctuations throughout the shoot. I would pick other locations (if possible) or sound blankets to block out the windows.
Thank you! Yeah that was my concern, that the shadows would shift too much. I think if this were more of a corporate gig, I probably would've lit it differently
looks.good! I just got the gmaster 35mm 1.4 and can't wait to film some interviews with it.
@@BarefootMediaTV such a great lens for interviews! My only regret is that I didn’t buy it sooner
Very useful. And the finished segments looked great. Interesting that you mixed full frame and crop, and it made no difference. Effective.
@@TheSternSpiel thank you! I’ve beat that Sony 50mm APSC lens to death over the years haha
Actually that slit of light make it look more natural. I would leave it, but sometimes customers (especially corporate ones) want the cleanest look ever :D.
@@JoATTech that’s a great way to look at it! I agree, sometimes I see lighting setups that are too good-that the background looks artificial like a green screen. Thank you!
I really like having natural light in my shots, but I’m always worried that people will notice lol. I don’t think they ever have, at least they haven’t let me know.
@ I like it too! When the sun is sitting just right you can’t beat it imo. My worry is how it can change so quickly 😅
I like it artistically, however, I could see why some clients might want it removed it. It is a little bit distracting, but I'm not sure if that is because I am aware of the BTS stuff. Maybe a non-photography person would really like it. I'm just always analyzing how shots are made. 😂
@@wayfairing_soul thank you for your thoughts! I tend to agree, I kind of like it artistically. I know for this project we’re going for more of a documentary-style look as opposed to something corporate, so I think it works.
How do you like your 100wt key light. Do you find it powerful enough for most of your interviews
Awesome video!
How did you attach your Monitor to the fx6 Audio Handle?
Thanks a lot !
@@YuriBertacchi thank you! I attached a SmallRig low profile NATO rail to the handle and then used a Kondor Blue NATO-to-NATO swivel-one side to the handle, the other to the monitor.
@ thank you so much !
