I bought my 2nd Z32 in 2014 for $9k, it was a red 91 TT that was MINT inside and out, engine had been rebuilt, new turbos, clutch, blitz electronics stuffs, tons of nice quality parts, super nice car...spun a rod bearing after about a year 🙃. I was in college and couldn't afford to rebuild it so it sat for 9 months and then I sold it for $3k because i got impatient. Really kicking myself now with these prices lol I wouldn't be able to touch another car that was as clean for under $20k now. These prices are a joke.
Most rebuilt engines are a ticking time bomb. Unless you are extremely careful, it is very difficult to get close to the factory build process. Most rebuilds have a lifespan of less than half the factory.
I'm glad this video came out when it did. A guy I know offered me a manual TT for $4500 that "just needs a fuel pump" I figure I'll buy him a fuel pump and throw it in, and if thats all it needs buy it. Not sure about the mileage off the top of my head, but it was a car he was trying to sell back when he had his dealership he since retired though.
350Z touring wheels look real good on my 02 Maxima lol.. I use to drive a tow truck and one thing I remember about those cars is that the air dams were usually always messed up from being towed. the tow hooks have to be put on at the rear hook points under the car near the rear wheels. otherwise the winch cable bends and cracks the air dam..
