These are so precious! I ordered some glow in the dark yarn & I'm going to make six of them. Three of them will be for age 3 & two 1 year olds, so I'll use yarn for the eyes & take your past advice & put the stuff in a piece of pantyhose. For the two one year olds, I'm also adding crinkling sound material inside and on the backs putting small 1/2 inch bands for them to hold them. The ones for the others I'm adding a string for hanging or easy carrying in each child's favorite color. I'm SO excited to try this! Thanks for such a wonderful tutorial once again!!!
@@JaydaInStitches I have always loved your channel! When someone asks me for accounts to watch to learn how to crochet, you're always my first suggestion! You're such fun to watch & I really want people to see the joy in the art of crochet.
Hi Jayda, my daughter is a big fan of your videos and patterns and she made this as a gift for her brother for his birthday 😊. It looks super cute and she's delighted with the outcome 😁
Oh my goodness, this ghost is so CUTE! I just made one (have to finish decorating him) to give to my daughter-in-law (who loves ALL things Halloween). She has an October birthday, so I think this little ghost might take the place of a bow on her gift this year! Also plan to make one for a friend's nephew. Her nephew is mentally challenged and also autistic - he will LOVE the little ghost! Thank you, Jayda!
I'd like to make the crocheted eyes. Do you have a tutorial showing how you made them or would you please give a brief explanation of how to make them? Thanks!
Hi Jayda, I finished my candy corn pillow, this evening I will start on my little ghosts. Great tutorial. Love your ideas. When shall we be expecting some Christmas tutorials?? See you next week👻👻
If I wanted to make it slightly larger do I need to add an extra row for each additional increase? So if I did three additional increases then would I add a row 12-14 instead of the 11 rows?
Hi Angela, the easiest way to upsize amigurumi (because they are typically stitch particular) is to use thicker yarn and a larger hook. This way there's now worrying about fiddling with the pattern 😊
Thanks sooo cute! I said to my friend today (Monday) "Oh no! I forgot to make you a crochet ghost!!" She replied "You can still make me one" He he I think I've impressed her with my crochet work. Thanks again!
Oh Jayda, your little ghosties are soooooo cute!! Can't wait to get started on them. I also watched your other ghost video tonight. Loved it. You have such fun ideas. I have learned a lot from you. And have recently subscribed too. Thank you for sharing your talents and your sweet personality. Take care, jlee
I absolutely loved it! Soooooooo making these for all my little kiddos for Halloween. My sons said it could be a flower or an octopus too . LOL I told them I would let u know :)
Hi there Jada 👋👋👋 I love all your videos btw!!! And this little ghost is just adorable! Actually just watched the pumpkin sack tutorial and I'm on a Jada Halloween kick off. I wanted to confess that I am most certainly not one that can sew. I've tried as hard as I can to crochet/sew on faces with my Amigurumi with much failure! Thank goodness for safety eyes! I have tried using yarn and also embroidery thread. You peaked my interest thou when you said the ghost you already had done had SC for its eyes. If you have one of your tutorials that shows how you did that could you pretty please send me a link? Thanks so much for everything you do and teach! You're AWESOME!!!!
Hi Karen! Thank you for watching :) I think we've done several videos with little single crochet eyes...but to save a little time: You just need to make a cinch circle and work 3 or 4 single crochet into the circle, cinch it tightly shut, join with a sl st to the first sc and fasten off...leave a long tail for sewing it on :) It's just a tiny little circle and it makes a great little eye!
Is there a written pattern for this ghost? For some reason I can't get the bottom right. Like can't get the right amount of stitches I'm suppose to have. 😐
Hi Saran, this pattern is worked in the round meaning you do not join your rows with a slip stitch, you just continue single crocheting around and around. If you have trouble identifying your rows, you can use a stitch marker to mark the first stitch of each row :)
Hi Katie, the easiest way to make this little guy bigger is to use an 8.00 mm hook (L / 11) and bulky weight yarn (like Bernat Blanket in white) and he'll be pretty big!
Hi Blanche, I would recommend making a cinch circle, and working 5 sc into it, then join with a sl st and fasten off - leave enough tail to sew them on!
Meena Moeen there is a great doll crochet along just started on the channel Happy Berry Crochet. Laura posts a video there every Friday and up until Christmas she will be showing you how to make the doll. Hope that helped!
Hi Novella, we go through each row of the pattern, you might want to pause the video after each instruction while you crochet (we all crochet at different speeds!) You can also slow down the speed of the video (or speed it up!) by changing the settings on your video viewer (the settings button is often in the lower right side of the video player, you can also turn on CC here too). Also, we now have a free written copy of this pattern available on our website (link in description box, check out the Pattern Workshop page when you get there) so you can follow along with it and make notes if you like as we go :) Thank you for watching!
I made this a few days ago with black button eyes and yarn mouth. Very easy 💖
Hi Loretta! Thank you for watching 😊

SO cute Jayda! lol
Thank you very much
If I don't have the button eyes, do I have to crochet the eyes like the magic circle method and how many stitches does it take to make the eyes?
Hi! I used 4 sc in a cinch circle, tight cinch and join with a sl st to the first sc, that's a good size :)
so cute! Now we need a turkey for Thanksgiving. :)
Jayda ! bellissimo lavoro ! grazie ! Kiss
Grazie, Annamaria :)

Hi Khloe, you could add a cute little bow to this little Ghostie's head, that would make her look pretty girly!
Hai mam... I'm need this ghost ... It's very amazing ...so I'm buying this ... any online shop in available...
I’m struggling with the magic circle. Are there alternate ways of starting?
Hi Amanda, we have a super slow mini tutorial on how to do that, you might find it helpful here: ua-cam.com/video/P87GpDPExsU/v-deo.html

Hi Sarah, yes! You'll find it on our website (Pattern Workshop page) link is in the description box :)
Do you slip stitch in the first stitch? Cause I am off.
Hi Saran, this pattern is worked in the round meaning you do not join your rows with a slip stitch, you just continue single crocheting around and around. If you have trouble identifying your rows, you can use a stitch marker to mark the first stitch of each row :)
Is there a formula, or a way to increase the size of the ghost? I think it is so cute but i would love to make a bigger one.
Hi Katie, the easiest way to make this little guy bigger is to use an 8.00 mm hook (L / 11) and bulky weight yarn (like Bernat Blanket in white) and he'll be pretty big!
Hi 👋 sweetie is there any way to in large this little ghosty 👻 to maybe twice the the size or more
Hi Paula, you can try using a bulky weight yarn (like bernat blanket) and a size 8.00 mm hook (L/11) and that will definitely make it bigger :)
can you do a tutorial on pac-man and all the characters
Hi Christina, thank you for the suggestion :)
it's looks like Napsterblook
Hook size 4.25 and regular yarn worsted
Jayda I don't have buttons for his eyes I want to crochet them where do I learn to do this :( ?
Hi Blanche, I would recommend making a cinch circle, and working 5 sc into it, then join with a sl st and fasten off - leave enough tail to sew them on!
Thank you Jayda I can do that that was easy enough :D
i come out with 8 ghost bottoms. what am i doing wrong?
Hi Christy, you might have used a couple of stitches twice , or had too many to start with - as long as it looks Ghosty, don't worry about it! :)
please make doll in crochet.your work is so cute and creative.thank you
Meena Moeen there is a great doll crochet along just started on the channel Happy Berry Crochet. Laura posts a video there every Friday and up until Christmas she will be showing you how to make the doll. Hope that helped!

Hey
Sans*
I don't like how you jump so fast through your tutorials. I thought you are going to teach us how to make it.
