buyed all sextant i need for around 70c calculated that when i use all of them, will spend around 45 div, now have 1/3 of the sextants left, alrady have around 250 div PROFIT, and counting. thx for the strat.
It's pretty good indeed, very light setup and easy to run, you won't find mirrors but with all the currency you can make any build lol, glad you are enjoying it
As several people pointed out in the first video, it's also very possible to do upwards of 100 maps without seeing a single frog. Personally I got 8 spiders and 2 rhexes in 80 T5/6 maps with compasses then about 20 more T2/3 with just scarabs and got nothing else of value (besides essences and orbs, but there's better/faster/more efficient ways to farm essences if that's what you're after). That's 1.5 div return on 8-9 div investment in scarabs and compasses. I did make about 20 div in essences, orbs, and miscellaneous stuff so it wasn't a loss, but for 4-ish hours that was not at all what I would call time well spent. I also don't get why the map sustain is so wonky when doing Strand. I can run T16 JV's all day and get 3-5 map drops in every one that I do, with all my favorites set to JV. So many that I never even consider favoriting Mesa as a safety net. When I swap to doing T2/3 or T5/6 Fields/Strand with all but one of my favorites set to Strand I end up getting over 80% Fields drops in both maps. I would think that having so many +1 map tier nodes allocated would prevent that, but for some reason it seems to have the opposite effect (since I take none of those nodes in my normal atlas tree).
You can theoretically run infinite maps and don't see a frog. It is RNG, and the only way to over come that is doing more maps. As you said it, there's no way you lose currency and once your avg normalizes, you will get the currency fast. My suggestion is to don't stress too much about it, they are going to appear sooner or later. About the map sustain, it is because we aren't juicing the maps enough and also because we are rushing these maps. Singular focus eats all T6 that are upgraded one tier too. I'm personally okay running some fields here and there to restock stands. Once you get used to it, you do it very efficiently. The map avg time that I'm showing here includes running both maps.
The character you linked the build for, did you remove stuff from it? Seems like it didn't translate well, or you leave a lot of gem slots open (1 open in helm, 3 open in boots) and a trinket slot open. Not sure if you vultured it for another build, was going to give it a shot since my build is a bit of overkill for this, and also is slow as sin. :) Edit: and even with my slower build, I was getting quite a few frogs (probably every 6-8 maps would get at least a pair - only check the beastiary when I swap watchstones to get a new sextant). Made about 200d in a few days so I do appreciate the guild. Was doing T16 beast and it was fine, but slow for obvious reasons.
Hi, this ranger is my league starter, I modified it to zoom zoom in these maps. I removed the ballista setup because I wasn't going to need it for this strategy. Yeah the strat is definitely pretty good, I farmed my current mageblood in 1 day. Currently, the price of the sextant went down again to 20, 25c, so its in its prime.
Hi, glad to hear that, the tree is the same but without the "Descent into madness" node and its small nodes. Something like this: poeplanner.com/a/iIF We have everything we want in the tree, with the remaining points you can add more chance to drop a connected map, or chance to duplicate maps, or increase effect of modifiers for extra packsize. Or maybe another option could be adding the extra rewards for delirium "Compulsive Hoarder".

Damn ... bro idk but I guess I am lucky then I tried it yesterday 1st time, farmed whole day, but this was stupid wst 6 runs I got 4 frogs and later on I swear this is true I got mission with 30 to catch I got 4 frogs in 1 map idk how but it did happen I was laughing so hard I started crying ahahah

You can still run tier 2/3 with sextant. After you open map you can remove the watchstone and you will get tier 2/3 maps.

Your filter may be blocking the maps, happened to me but now am oversustaining easily
25 maps in, no craicic chimerals and two plagued arachnids. I haven't timed but I'm a good bit slower unfortunately
