I need to wrap a tree trunk only in my yard this summer. Trunk is about 25 ft and not super thick but not skinny either, how many feet should I get? Thank you
Typically 1 25'-strand of lights wraps 2-3 feet of tree trunk. Take a string and wrap around the truck. Measure that. Consider how many "wraps" you want per foot. Usually 2-3. Multiply the tree circumference, buy wraps per foot, then multiply by the number of feet high.
So far no complaints. If I have a clients who is very particular and specifically request perfect spirals I'll use traditional method for the trunk and use this method on the branches. Branches eat up a LOT of time traditional method. My normal wraps are very tight spacing. About 3 inches apart. The back side of the tree with the rope almost touches. Using mason line it not a noticeable difference from the traditional wrap. I'll post another video with full tree wrap and how it looks at night time.
Nice job. Because of you, I found and even better way to do it. Thanks for your help.

How about clear fishing line, do you think that would work too?
Yes, it would probably work better for residential. Commercial needs to be tamper proof. So only start this above reaching height.
I do have to say, this is pretty impressive. You still do it this way Don?
I'm using the "no wrap strap now."
How do customers feel about this?
