I was on Issei's side and wished that he wins this event one time but Victor deserved it. Well done, he is totally insane right now winning Cypher Adikts, Undisputed 1v1 and 3v3. Keep going brah.
Round 1 Was Issei's but Round 2 was clearly Victor's. The event is so small it's ridiculous and difficult for the BBoys to go all out without hitting one of the spectators
Round 1- Victor smoked Issei Round 2- It was tight, but I had Iseei edging it. Overal, I gave it to Victory because of round 1. Great rivalry between these two.
That was a dope battle! Was so surprised that Victor was answering Issei's power moves with his own power moves, and actually won. Heck at the end you could tell that Issei knew Victor took it. Both killed it.
Victor is really such a complete bboy, flows on the beat and it shows how much better he is than Issei right now. If Issei didnt worry about his dynamics/power combos so much and focused on his footwork, toprocks/downrocks and musicality, imagine how good he'd be. He should try and link up and train with Bboy Babylon or Katsu-One or something, shit would be sick.
For the first round: 0:20 (Issei's slide elbow spin landing on the beat) 1:03 (Victor's baby freeze on the beat without impressive transition. Perhaps it is the only beat kill for Victor in the first round?) Compare 0:36 and 0:59 (Issei's 2000s kill the beat, Victor miss it) Compare 0:42 and 1:17 (Issei's move kill the beat but Victor's response does not) Victor's responses do not look better than Issei's move and they are not on the beat. To conclude, Issei got robbed.
Lucas Chau it was 4:1 with the judges. I’m gonna put my trust in them they are judges for a reason. You don’t know what they are looking for when they judge.
Lucas Chau If Victor could do what he did, then that just goes to show that it doesn't take much skill. Victor had great responses and you don't always have to kill the beat every round and base your decision on that, that's idiotic and poor judgement. You base it on skill, technique, cleanliness, favor, etc. That 2000 didn't look clean from Issei (even though it was on beat), it was like he barely had control over it after that transition
Lucas Chau Plus, the music changed during the end of Vic's round. How do you expect him to kill an entirely new beat? A response doesn't necessarily mean that you have to be on beat as well, it means that you can do that move too, so that's no big deal or you can do something like that move that's similar but better than what the other person did
Lucas Chau Victor slided elbow and then went for incredible power. Did freez and went for another combo. At the and of his first set he did better thing than Issei !
Many japanese breakers are always humble and easily accepts defeat then next time will come back to destroy their enemy. You got more of my respect Issei for showing how to be a good sport. This is what you call GRACIOUS IN DEFEAT! Time for you to have more foundation and learn new power moves.
Issei you are power in the past 2 years you improved your top and floor rock. It is time to have more top and floor rock moves. Learn new power moves and a few tumblings.
NooB GaminG can’t really be “basic” but yeah the only person who perfects it is hong 10 now I’m not hating or band wagon on any of them I’m just saying. It’s unique you feel?
To talk just about bboying This battle was so close i think it's deserve a tie. But the solution now is to give the win's to the local bboy because of the crowd . Judges have to forget that point ,it influence their decision when it's close. The same happened with Menno in last RBBC1 .
First , I thought what I want, You're the idiot to considere someone as an idiot because he has not the same thinking of you. Second to respond your question as I already told , I think that battle deserve a TIE BREAK.
Red Bull BC One World Final 2012 (Victor win) Full Throttle 2014 Grand Final (Issei win) Culture Shock Taiwan 2015 (Victor win) Silverback Open 2015 (Victor win) R16 KOREA 2015 (Issei win) Red Bull BC One World Final 2015 (Victor win) Red Bull BC One World Final 2016 (Issei win) UNDISPUTED WORLD BBOY MASTERS 2016 (Issei win) Undisputed IV x udeftour.org 2018 (Victor win) Victor 5 : 4 Issei
This battle is evidence to how Victor continues to prove why he's always been much better than Issei. Issei has ELITE dynamics and power (albeit not very original as far as Im concerned), but he struggles vs elite B-BOYS who can more or less match his dynamics and power, but slaughter him with style, footwork, toprock, creativity, musicality like Victor does.
I tend to agree with your sentiment, that's why he tends to struggle against bboys like Thesis and Menno. But, I think what he has over those bboys is his musicality. He's a master at killing the beat and he's steadily been improving his down rock and top rock. Issei is definitely become more well rounded as he's gotten older. Another thing that seperates him from most bboys is his consistency, he does extremely well in every tournament and he's clean af. Every bboy has a style that are weak against, but Issei's musicality and consistency are what makes him the best bboy in world imo.
Big deal. No one ever goes undefeated...Sometimes power and dynamics is all thats needed to win a big stage event. But it is undeniable, as far as bboyism goes, Victor is amongst the few setting the trends for the rest of the pack to follow
I agree, like I said every bboy has a match up weakness. Victor and Issei are defintely the best bboys when they are at the top of their game. Victor is more creative and matches up better against Issei, but Issei is more consistent and can beat more styles than Victor.
Fair enough. Absolutely respect that. Disagree about him having elite musicality. Agree he is consistent and said already he was elite with power and dynamics. It's clear Issei is trying to develop a sense of flavor but it looks forced to me. Moves are "easy" to learn. Learning how to rock with Swerve is hard. Thanks for a non combative approach to disagreement, I know my comments sometimes come off as blunt.
I was on Issei's side and wished that he wins this event one time but Victor deserved it.
Well done, he is totally insane right now winning Cypher Adikts, Undisputed 1v1 and 3v3.
Keep going brah.
Vic was on fire, and Issei wasn't so bad either. I hope this rivalry doesn't end anytime soon.
blingo22 hope they face each other again. bte how old is victor?
peace bewith u i think that hes like aroud 23
Victor is 24 and Issei is 21. Their birthdays are only 2 days apart.
Forreal they both get each other fired up
Respect you brother but Issie was way more better than victor
I felt so scared for the bboys. They have like no space. Good thing their control on their power moves is actually beyond amazing
woooaahh that second round from Victor! sheeeet
thanks for filming stance!
You know when you order pizza and it finally arrives? Well Vic does that dance on the way to answer the door. 2:07 - 2:14
hahahaha
Victor went beast mode the whole night damnn
These two are practically destined to be rivals. It's kind of amazing how often they run into each other at so many different jams across the globe
Lools like victor is being more creative
the year of victor
I know I'm very critical of Issei. But I will say I got mad respect for him as he is very humbled in defeat (and win he wins). Can't hate on that
Vicious Victor is back!
Jhonatan Jefry finally
2016 vic
Victor won hands down. Not the usual Issie performance though. He looked beat. Congrats to the champ tho.
Victor is one of the Smoothest Bboys. His style reminds of the ole school NYC style ! Awsome. Big up to Issei though... his style is also massive.
Because he imitates old school NY.
Round 1 Was Issei's but Round 2 was clearly Victor's. The event is so small it's ridiculous and difficult for the BBoys to go all out without hitting one of the spectators

For everyone saying Issei took the first round: Victor responded to 3 major moves from Issei and added some stuff
For the first round:
0:20 (Issei's slide elbow spin landing on the beat)
1:03 (Victor's baby freeze on the beat without impressive transition. Perhaps it is the only beat kill for Victor in the first round?)
Compare 0:36 and 0:59 (Issei's 2000s kill the beat, Victor miss it)

Issei you are power in the past 2 years you improved your top and floor rock. It is time to have more top and floor rock moves. Learn new power moves and a few tumblings.

Issei bite hong 10??? 1:49
yeah of course.
Thats basic stuff. You can see like Alkolil's doing that too
NooB GaminG can’t really be “basic” but yeah the only person who perfects it is hong 10 now I’m not hating or band wagon on any of them I’m just saying. It’s unique you feel?
NooB GaminG it’s also not basic because I don’t see a lot of bboy doing that move. Its pretty difficult bruh
I thought that one was Alkolil's move
And on that day, Victor was dripping in finesse.
Good job guys
Two Legend BC one all star
issei fan boy incoming
Was 1-1 for me. Issei’s 2nd round was fire 🔥
The frenemy
2015 Victor Win , 2016 Issei . 2018 Vĩctor . 2019 Issei repeat..
1st round pretty close i'd say, if Issei added more footwork and a solid freeze at the end he could've take it , 2nd round Vic all the way
Victor straight murdered Issei
Issei was manhandled
Issei is winner .judge is stupid fellow
Victor is winner .judge is level-headed fellow
even Issei admitted it at the end.
Victor even won Issei over, he has mad respect for him
round 1 victor? wtf??
nguyenthimyhanh nguyen he responded to everything issei did, could've have gone either way, just the judges preference in battles
did u not see his response to issei's last move?
That spot was too small even to doing some babyfreeze
2:16 ive never seen dat shit befoe
Issei always shows love
Vic killed it but honestly that 1st round was close and I think issei might've just took that round

nougataga ouaoran yea and it also happened with Hong 10 and issei in their bc1 wins as well..... smh
nougataga ouaoran so you think he won because of home field advantage? If so, you're an idiot
First , I thought what I want, You're the idiot to considere someone as an idiot because he has not the same thinking of you. Second to respond your question as I already told , I think that battle deserve a TIE BREAK.
Victor and issei have had 9 battles since 2012. Victor wins five times issei wins four times = victor 5 : 4 issei

Issei smoked Victor at Red Bull BC One 2016 and last year’s Undisputed, so I wouldn’t say that Victor is much better than him
