Thanks for the time and effort you put in to make a great comparison video. You really did a good job highlighting the similarities/differences in design and materials. Seeing them close up like that helped me make a decision on which to go with on my Rem700. The Caldwell looks just about as good as the Harris for what I need, mostly range use and infrequent hunting. At the difference in price- I could get the Caldwell AND ammo/range time for the price of just the Harris. Thanks again, you probably saved me $80 or more by selling me on the Caldwell.

I tested a Caldwell in 2014 after my Harris broke in the middle of deer season. I'm not easy on my gear for sure bench shooting is a rare occasion just to confirm zero. Harris lasted 1 1/2 years and I don't expect them to warranty something beat up in the field no limited lifetime warranty does I definitely broke it. Caldwell is closing in on 2 years. Harris makes nice stuff, but for the price dif of ~ 1/3rd Caldwell has me for the time being it's lasted as long as the Harris did will see if it makes it through this season.

My Caldwell has been excellent. I had a Harris I bought for like $115 or something. Had it for about 3 years, went to a long range class in central VA. Harris snapped off the front of my SPR. The mounting piece that attaches to sling swivels broke around the middle. The Caldwell went to that same class....3 times, and has lasted 4 years and still going, 1/4 of the price or less in some places
