It is a great tutorial for dummies like me. But seriously you have to remove and manage ads properly. Three ads are enough. Just a tip for making clean videos.

I can't get my cursor to show full dimensions. The dimensions only show from certain walls and not the full length of the interior faces of the rooms. How do I turn on all the dimensions? I tried turning off the "snaps"

when I am going add structural wall after floor just like you. showing me error as ". The top of the wall is lower than the base of the wall." while changing from unconnected to bottom of the foundation. please share about how should I resolve that.

Hey i came to know why i got the same error, it was because i have selected architecture wall instead of structural wall
May be you have done the same thing
And i have no idea why he has selected structural wall instead of architecture wall (he dint mention in video)

Because you have the newer version and he has the oldest version. In the newer vershion they change the name and remove innecessary things.

Following your vid , and the issue i have is when i made my plan arch walls they where inverted (meaning brick was inside vs outside)?.
+Russell Branche click on the wall you will see an arrow which will let you invert the orientation of the wall
