The video of the ski descent of the north face of the Pigne d'Arolla is absolutely stunning-thx for these incredible shots! 🌟 That said, let’s not forget that this face was also descended on a snowboard in 1998 by guide Gilbert Crettaz, a native of the valley, from La Forclaz, Evolène. At the time, it was an extraordinary feat that deserves recognition. This guide has made history in snowboarding with many first descents achieved quietly, without seeking media attention. A true pioneer!
honestly, one of the best ski films I've ever watched. you did such an incredible job guys! really inspiring!! can't wait to go ski some faces now. haha
You guys have such an ability to tell a story. You had me locked in from the first second of the film! Such a beautiful line and story telling. Well done guys! Extraordinary content, keep it up!
Yes Great movie!! It gave me the 'La Liste' vibe from Jeremie Heitz. Fantastic story, good skiing and a lot of respect to the pioneers of our sport. Well done guys. Looking forward to the new episodes aswell! :)
Bonjour André Bonjour les visages cachés Merci pour ce film intéressant. André est l'un des grands pionniers du ski de pente raide. Bravo! Je vous souhaite de belles expériences en montagne. Cordialement Raphael Wellig
‘The only valid reason to go up there and play in this type of terrain, the only reason is passion, is to be passionate. Passion can take you very far, nothing can stop you.’
Great to watch this. But stunning to see how much snow has gone since I skied the north face in 2007. Well done on navigating all the sharks and making it happen.
I clicked on this, as I’ve climbed the pigne from the vignettes hut- wow what a film 🙌 to think you guys ski’d that face I peered over….. I salute you guys🫡
guys... this video! magnificent. Real emotions and the storytelling is really top-quality! Bravo again for this wonderful project in this magnificent corner of paradise :)
Amazing video guys. I always love the content you make. I’m not one to comment very often, but having skied in the Evolène and Arolla region my whole life this is amazing to watch. I remember standing at the top of the Pigne while doing the haute route, being in awe of the views and what felt like a huge drop below me. I couldn’t imagine somebody skiing it yet alone taking a break half way to pop out a drone to film their process 😂. Huge respect to you guys and keep it up!
What a great piece of a ski film. Story telling and skiing on point. And filming yourself on the way in exposures like this 😮. Congrats guys, I really enjoyed it!
Surprised I didn't see one of these "oh why would you do that it is dangerous" comment yet. But if you're about to say that, just know that if humans had no drive for adventure and risk, we would still be living in caves and achieved or discovered anything.
Beautiful film, well balanced, giving André the respect he deserves. Love the emotions, well done!

Knappe prestatie.
Ik heb de route in Google Earth bekeken.
Ik ben zelf alleen via de zuidkant naar de top geweest 😉
I'd love a video on someone skiing the north face of the Matterhorn... Until then: press [x] for doubt.
Surprised I didn't see one of these "oh why would you do that it is dangerous" comment yet.

PLEASE spare me the FAKE sounds.
Like the 'footsteps' at the very beginning.
Ohio is not the most beautiful place on earth, sorry. Switzerland, though...
@@gariklaw you should talk with André about this hehe
