Words cannot express how jealous I am of Andre right now. Barry Gordon ranting as Donatello never getting a catchphrase of his own and Cam Clarke mocking Leonardo's constant cries to action are PRICELESS. It would be so phenomenal if Nickelodeon produced animated staged outtakes of those in the episode...
I just love how close the old cast is to each other and how goofy they were together off set. It just made the turtles relationship in the original show that much better and seem as if they were actual brothers. When Towsend and Cam started jumping around in the beginning when Andre tried to introduce them, that was seriously the best part.
Townsend Coleman will ALWAYS be the greatest Michelangelo!. I love ya Greg, robbie and Wayne but Townsend had the perfect dude voice and made Cowabunga a household saying when i was kid haha
To see those guys voice your favorite characters from your childhood is like seeing an artist at work on a painting. It's to these unsung heroes of Saturday mornings that we owe so much.
That was so awesome, it's so crazy seeing voice actors live like that, transitioning from their normal voice into a character's voice like that unprompted. Always been something I found fascinating with that medium. Not to mention it's great to see them doing another special where the original 80s Turtles get brought back for action, like they did with Turtles Forever. Only a shame we couldn't have the original Shredder there to join, too.
My cheeks are literally hurting from smiling so much. Thank you for sharing this, Andre. I'd be roaring with jelaousy right now, if I weren't so happy.
it is really awesome how even though the original voice actors clearly aged and are older than they used to be they are still having a blast doing what they're doing. still young in heart
This looks totally tubular dude. This mind boggling, I'm without words on how to describe this, it's so beautiful to see the 80s cast and the turtles of today be in the same episode. COWABUNGA
Let's just all agree these voice actors are complete cinnamon rolls. Because I couldn't stop doing "d'aww" while watching this. Seriously, you're so blessed to have met them all in one setting. I hope you get to met with them again in the future. < 3
3:19 "This is the episode where Donatello FINALLY GETS A CATCHPHRASE! He waited ten years to get a catchphrase, and he never got one! So maybe, in 3D, he can find a catchphrase!" - Barry 'Donatello' Gordon
+ReccaWolf I got to meet, get an autograph from, and get pictures with Rob Paulsen at the 2015 Dragon Con, and I went to a voice actors panel that he was part of there. That was an amazing experience.
+William “LEGOMania27” Breen-Harris Agree, the Black Nerd built his reputation and now he has the luxury, power and luck to be able to meet a lot of important voices and actors. way to go black nerd!
Talk about a major nostalgia trip. It's been 30 years since we didn't hear the original TMNT cast and it was truly awesome. All it was missing was the gang saying COWABUNGA at the end but like Michaelangelo said it was "Bodacious"
That Pat Fraley guy is pretty impressive. I remember seeing something about Galaxy High (anyone remember it? :P ) where one of the voice actors talks about doing a character by speaking on an inhale. And it seems like Krang uses that too, but also mixes that with a lot of other acrobatics. Very cool.
That's so cool that you got to meet all the original cast. I think I'd probably be so nervous meeting them, even though they all seem really friendly. Grew up watching TMNT 89. Still hold a special place for me.
Dear god.....whenever I hear Rob Paulsen speak, at least 80+ cartoon characters from my past come flooding into my brain. He voiced SO MANY classics from the 80s and 90s. Love it!!!
That was so awesome!! You are lucky to have seen all of them record their voices once again. But of course their is one cast member from the 80's that is missing...... The Shredder himself, James Avery. It would have been cool to have him appear in this special as well. RIP James "The Shredder" Avery.
It was great hearing all the old voices again just really sad that James Avery couldnt be a part of this episode Would have been amazing to get some back and forth between him and Krang for old times sake RIP Uncle Phil
That was absolutely incredible! It made me unbelievably happy to see those guys at work. Thanks so much, Andre! I'm glad you had such an amazing opportunity. :)
There will never be anything quite like the original 1980's series of the Ninja Turtles. It's so good to see that my favorite childhood cartoon is still so popular and loved. Though I didn't care too much for the final seasons of the original series, and that boring new villain that kept coming back again and again. If only He-Man would make a comeback as well. And one that doesn't suck, like the New Adventures Of He--Man did. That show was a disgrace.
This is why I love the new TMNT. Sure I miss the 1980s turtles but the new ones are always dropping references and doing cool stuff like this!!! It's a good fun show.
Andre, I hope you read this. This video was posted shortly after my father passed away last night. This brought brought tears of happiness in a dark time. The 80's turtles were a cartoon that I watched with constantly and he would always make sure I got the toys, games, and seen the movies. This cast is the only one be ever knew as the turtles and unfortunately he we not be able to see the reunion. However you did bring a much needed smile to me. Thank you very much. I know it's a long shot. But if you speak with any of the cast again let them know they created a strong family bond all those years ago and know they are doing the same today.
Dude this means so much to see these guys all together watching them do the voices. I had the original turtle van and techno drome. Man.. sitting on the floor eating cheerios watching this on a giant square box of a tv... the days.
The original 80s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon, is one of my favorite cartoons of all time. I still remember how I felt back then, watching new episodes, and I love how it was a story driven show. The only thing that sucks, is that some of the voices today, kind of sounded not the same, like they did back in the day. like other people have said though, I still can't wait to watch this episode, the first day it airs.
Leo will always be my favorite. I loved in the episode when 2012 Leo asks what Shredder wants and 1987 Leo answers very deadpan “he wants to take over the world or turn us into balloons... whatever!”
Damn Andre you got the life! As a kid Mikey was my fav, i totally talked like him too. As an adult i find Donatello is my fav. I can't wait to see the two Dons work together on a few devices.
Awesome that you got to experience this Andre. The place has changed a little bit since I went there in 2011. Great to see the OG voice cast layin' down their voices on an episode of the current show, I'm excited.
I also loved how mid episode Raph was eatting a Pizza and mumbles his part in the opening theme when NICK's Raph Chides for eating at the worst possible time ever.
These always warmed my heart seeing Voice Actors who hasn't seen each others in years and these guys it's been over 30 years not counting that one cameo appearance. They had a perfect opportunity to reprise their roles in Turtles Forever back when Shredder's VA was alive and healthy but 4kids had to go the cheap route and uses their own VA's who were off at time Leonardo being the biggest defender but some of them did do a good job sounding close to the original as possible with Ralpheal and Michelangelo being the best out of the group including 80's April O'Neil. But I have one complain before the episode premiere why couldn't they try to make the animation and graphics of the 80's like it was back in the 1980's Turtles Forever did it while not perfect they try real damn hard to emulate the 80's style and animation.
Ah! This is just so exciting! You've certainly made this sick gal's day much brighter. I'm so happy that you got the opportunity to see the original cast in action! I think anyone would say they're a bit green with envy (and turtle power). But goodness gracious, am I glad to see you having so much fun!
I'm so looking forward to this it's a fan's dream and I'm sorry that James Avery (God rest his soul) the voice of Shredder couldn't be here to have a part in this but if he were there's no doubt about it he would reprise his role for this, we're gonna miss you big guy.
It is SO AWESOME to see that the guys who entertained us as the original turtles enjoyed what they did, appreciated what they did, and liked each other. Great stuff!!
I wouldnt have wanted to have been the person to clean up all of that nerd gasm andre had to have sprayed everywhere onece the camara turned off. but seriously that must have been like your dream come true, hanging out with the actual ninja turtles that you grew up with. thats so awesome.
This must've been a dream come true for you, André! So awesome to see these guys playing these characters after so many years, it's heartwarming. :) And yes, ya gotta give Rob Paulsen credits for doing both voices for 80's Raph and current Donnie, can't wait to see how that conversation turns out. This is gonna be such a tremendously turtlerrific episode!! ^_^
I grew up watching Cam Clarke and Rob Paulsen :D I'm so jealous you got to meet the originals and the original Krang!! You might even say I'm green with envy, hehe....see what I did there?!
I so wish I could do this. What an honor to meet some VA legends. You looked like you were having so much fun, and my heart warmed watching this entire experience.
Oh what lovely dudes they all are. I hope to have that fun meeting a group of voice actors I grew up with. I have had fun with like two at a time but imagine a team and for a certain serie. That whould be wonderful.
To play Donatello, Barry Gordon use his simple voice but to do Bebop, he low his voice, very low! For Leonardo, Cam Clarke use his personnification of Russell Johnson from Gilligan's Island and for Rocksteady, he do a kind of dumb guy. Rob Paulson is perfect for Raphael but doing Donatello for Trans-Dimensional version, it's a challenge for him As i see the 1980's show, i always love Pat Fraley as he do Krang, Shredder's sidekick. In a video when they show the voices, Fraley explain how he did Krang's voice: like a old jewish mother! Remember him when he did the duo with our beloved Shredder, James Avery (RIP). I have a word for Towny Coleman aka Michaelangelo: COWABUNGA, DUDE!!!
RIP James Avery. The OG Shredder.
RIP
+TheKevMcC
Family Matters = Reginald VelJohnson
The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air = James Avery
If he's in the special, who will portray him?
XO!ce queenXO Someone who can imitate his voice.
AtomictheComet the
Donatello is almost universally my most beloved Turtles character across all of the incarnations.
righteous!
BOSS ANOVA
Donatello was always my fav, but Raphs a close second, such a wise-ass lol
+akiraokami I WANT THEM TO MAKE BETTER SPONGEBOB EPISODES. MY GOD THE NEW EPISODES HAVE LACK OF CONTENT.
hell yeah
Words cannot express how jealous I am of Andre right now.
Barry Gordon ranting as Donatello never getting a catchphrase of his own and Cam Clarke mocking Leonardo's constant cries to action are PRICELESS. It would be so phenomenal if Nickelodeon produced animated staged outtakes of those in the episode...
Agreed.
And I'm pretty sure that half of his students ask him to do the Donatello voice.
@@orionsmithey3009 I want to meet the voice cast of Sonic Underground!
"Stop joking around, this is serious business.....FAST!"
XD
+Ryan S. Nearly lost it after he added that FAST! :P
The way he says Fast" kills me every time! XD
Hello everybody. FAST!
Hello, everybody. I’m posting this comment...FAST!
I wish James 'Uncle Phil/Shredder' Avery was still alive to be a part of this...
Oh my god, I never knew that James Avery, uncle Phil, was the original voice of the shredder- WHAT!
You're currently in my heaven. I'm MEGA envious! =D
Michelangelo is forever my favorite. Townsend Coleman
This is the coolest thing ever!!! 80's Michelangelo voiced by Townsend Coleman will forever be my favorite cartoon character.
I love how animated they are in real life haha
Lol, I love that they are still all super energetic and act like crazy kids after all these years.
Just brings a smile to my face seeing them all hanging out and having fun. Turtles forever!
The actors are so energetic, I think the turtles are acting as the people
I just love how close the old cast is to each other and how goofy they were together off set. It just made the turtles relationship in the original show that much better and seem as if they were actual brothers. When Towsend and Cam started jumping around in the beginning when Andre tried to introduce them, that was seriously the best part.

Oh my God, this is more magical than a unicorn riding a double rainbow with a fairy and leprechaun entourage!
RIP James Avery. Would have been cool for original Shredder to be there, too. :(
My cheeks are literally hurting from smiling so much.
Thank you for sharing this, Andre. I'd be roaring with jelaousy right now, if I weren't so happy.

R.I.P. James Avery tho. :(
You're lucky. How many people get to meet 7 different ninja turtles (or 8).
7.

I know
No he counts as one. Just because someone dose 2 voices for 2 different turtles doesn't mean he counts as 2 different people.
Eh true.

I support this!
Such a good vid, seeing how funny these guys still are now makes you wonder how crazy it must of been when they were making the 80's cartoon lol
Andre, all I can say is that you, Cam, Barry, Rob, Townsend, and Pat are awesome!
That Pat Fraley guy is pretty impressive. I remember seeing something about Galaxy High (anyone remember it? :P ) where one of the voice actors talks about doing a character by speaking on an inhale. Oh. My. God. Nerd happiness overload. This video is pure gold on so many levels!! Thank you so so much for this Andre!!
Andre its your childhood dream come true hanging out with the turtles! It just shows how far you've come from your first video.
I never wanted this video to end. Thanks for sharing the experience with us, Andre!
I haven't watched the Ninja Turtle cartoons since I was a kid, but I immediately recognized those voices!

so many years have passed, yet they can still do the voices, very impressive.

That was a freaking amazing video. Thanks for sharing that with us Andre.
I love to see you moving up Andre, keep it up man!
guy that plays Krang is great!
Congrats dude. I know that was an awesome experience. Thank you for sharing because that made my day.
And this is why I love your channel! That experience looked like a ton of fun!
These guys are the best. Thanks for sharing, Andre.

I felt your excitement!! It's like I was with you! Lol I was jumping up and down like an idiot when I heard them do the voices. You're so lucky!!
Best episode yet! Missed these voices/guys!!! Thank you so much Andre for this video. Definitely giving this "newer" TMNT show a shot.

Dude that was freaking awesome!
Andre this is so awesome and thank you dude for filming behind the scenes
Your sooo lucky to meet the OG CREW! Awesome u shared with us longtime fans! Love em!
Was really hoping to hear Barry and Cam as classic Bebop and Rocksteady.
Really really nice guys ! It's such a fan service, they didn't need to do the behind the scenes stuff. Thanks guys
this was beyond awesome, thanks andre!
I grew up watching Cam Clarke and Rob Paulsen :D I'm so jealous you got to meet the originals and the original Krang!! You might even say I'm green with envy, hehe....see what I did there?!
wow!!!!my childhood brought back baby!i just turned 30 like a week and a half ago.i felt like i was 6 again watching this.
THANK YOU FOR THIS ANDRE! AND MY FAVORITE IS ALL THE RAPHS
Thanks so much for sharing this with us! What and amazing day!
