Kudat is one of my fav places to visit, we go there at least once a year to enjoy the blue sea and white sands. The Marak Parak road connecting Ranau to the north is on the eastern side of the range is a beautiful and quiet drive. Have a safe trip guys!

Vehicle Trivia: Did you know all modern cars today have an indicator in the dash telling you which side the fuel filler point is. Look at the petrol bowser icon in the dash cluster and you will see an arrow which will point to the left or right indicating which side the fill point is. cheers, safe travels

Been waiting for your guy's new video to show up. Nice to see that Marianne is fine and energetic. Kudat is one of the places that not many tourist come by with due to it distant from the main city. But it has the most beautiful beach that Sabah has to offer. Currently the weather in Borneo really bad right now. Do be careful for your trip to Pitas and other outlying district at Sabah.

What a fantastic video guys! Rattan ball is used for sepak takraw game. Sabah n Sarawak r well known for very sweet pineapples. Raining a lot there now so travel safe guys. Always looking forward to more of yr videos!

I’m so happy that Marianne is breathing a side relief from her injury. Even a small injury to the head will bleed a whole lot and be real scary, but the wound usually turns out to be very minor. I would suggest to carry a Betadine Antiseptic or. Antiseptic skin cleanser. That way you could make sure the cut is very sterile and will not get infected so no need to go into an emergency or see a doctor. This will save you time and money in the future.

The little plant we call " kruidje roer me niet " (dutch) little herb do not touch me. Mimosa pudica. Original from south america. In indonesia and malaysia is called putri malu. I was told (in indonesia) that you can follow the track of an animal or human by looking at the plants.
If you look at your fuel gague it has an arrow pointing to the side the fuel hose is on.
The plant you touched with small leaves closed is called “touch me not”

If you are still in Sabah, try to get a taste of Sabah seafood. I would recommend l yellow fin tuna, tiger prawns and giant gruoper.
do visit the new st peter church in kuching and the mount singai shrine as well as the hossana chapel when you are making your way to kuching!

Hi. For many cars today, there is a sign showing whether your fuel filler door is on the left or right. Same goes to isuzu dmax you're driving. There is an arrow pointing left at the fuel pump logo on your instrument meter.

Are you tempted to go up Mt Kinabalu? I did it 23 years agon when I was in my early 40s and would well recommend it! Just seen the bit of your video where you said you've already climbed it in 2012.. I couldn't walk for about 3 days after due to the steps down!

There were many delicious local meals enjoyed along the way travelling here. There were tropical best quality fruits enjoyed, yum pineapple too !!!!!

a very long narrow expansion walk rope bridge that was very wobbly when walking on it, walking over a fast moving river to experience a jungle adventure to a small Borneo jungle village

Extremely wet conditions for both Sabah and Sarawak. Watch out for landslides and floods. Stay tune in to local english radio stations for road condition updates. Bring extra supplies. Keep updating your friends and families on your locations regularly.
The highest mountain Mount Kinabalu in Borneo was lovely
to stop and view the enormous top of the mountain stretching out of the mist in the clouds, beautiful !!!
This rainy season should be over in a few weeks. Until then everyone must be careful either on the road or otherwise, remain alert for chances of floods and landslides too. It's unfortunate that 5 lives succumbed in miri in the neighboring state of sarawak in borneo, just a couple of days ago, due to landslide from a hill behind their homes after midnight.
May their souls be blessed.
On a happier note, I am proud to be able to say I have driven, yup me myself at the wheels, up to the tip of borneo, probably around 2017... and also down to the land's end (penzance, southwest of england) in 2022. Both memorably exhilarating! 🥰
