Yes, from this picture, which you should of course take with a grain of salt, it looks like it has more padding in the heel than the 12. It will be nice when we get some more pictures from other angles 🙂
Look at that heel collar!!!! If they manage to fix the heel lift issues with the Boston 13....i'm in trouble $$$ wise! I always felt the Boston 12 was a poor man's Tempo Next%, but couldn't use it effectively due to the heel lift. So I gave them away.
@@timtrenholm3698 👍🤣😁 I've only tried running in them in a running store. and the reason I didn't buy them. was that at that time the Pro 3 was actually cheaper 🤷 Pretty mind-boggling. but I have a lot of the Pro 3 they only cost 140 euros 😋😊
@timtrenholm3698 I have never had any problems with the pro 3. I even have my pairs in different sizes and they work perfectly without any problems for me. But I have heard other people have problems with them. But from the first pictures it looks like the Boston 13 has a heel more like the Evo Sl
@@JS-Treadmill-Running That site says "plate". I wonder if they are just being lazy and they meant "rods". I wouldn't care either way, but it's possible that many people prefer the rods feeling vs the flat plate.
@timtrenholm3698 👍😀 There are some pictures of it in a very poor quality. So it is difficult to assess the pictures properly. and should be taken with a grain of salt, but the pictures show that it has carbon rods

@@JS-Treadmill-Running I don't understand really. I think boston 12 has the best upper. No blisters, super breathable, indestructible, stretchy and easily washable. What else do you want from an upper? Padding it like that is ruining the shoes. It will just soak up sweat a lot and water. Super trainers (which boston 12 is) does not need padding!

Looks like the rocker geometry is the same as the Boston 12. Only the midsole and upper will be updated. Good news!
@@limta74 👍 Yes, immediately. Although the pictures can sometimes be deceiving. It will be exciting when we get more information and pictures.
This will makes me feel happy!

Absolutely love the 12. Hope the 13 is just as good. The upper looks great and the heel seems to have more padding, which I would've liked in the 12.

Daily trainer upper 🙏🏽
Yes And especially when you notice the heel. It has a lot more padding than 12 immediately
It seems the lightstrike foam only on the heel...and also wider midfoot - forefoot area..?
Boston 12.. Are great....we will 13.. Next year... I didn't see some rewiu from Austin running event
I don't think they had it in Austin.
I didn't see them either 🤷 But they were in the article the video is based on.

Horrible. Why the f they do add all of those padding for a performance shoe? Upper is ruined
