Makes me cry every time. I spent my life looking back at my mistakes and living my life with guilt. I don't carry that baggage anymore. I don't have to be who once was. I am a new person. After all, Jesus is who makes us new when we accept Him into our lives. New is good.

I hear this song and it reminds me that as a Christian, I am 'Christ Like' not Christ. I know that I will inevitably fall and that Satan will try to suck me into depression and self loathing at every turn but because I am saved God will guide me thru every trial and tribulation. Sooner or later in life we realize that the struggles are a blessing. Its in those darkest times when God is most near to us and we are ultimately willing to accept his hand as he carries us out of the mess we've made. This is what Paul mean when he said in 2nd Corinthians 12:10 "That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong."

A friend was telling me something that she just couldn't let go of and I thought of this song. We're forgiven for our past. Not many songs make me cry, but this one made me tear up. Praise the Lord! We serve and awesome God!

This song truly lifts me up when im feeling down and helps me see who I truly am and not who I was. I was raised in church all my life until my high school years I turn my back on god and started off on my own path trying t ok find my own happiness in drugs and alcohol only to find myself on a downward swirl my life was getting out of control and I found myself so far down I almost lost everything I every had then GOD got ahold of me like never befor and I found new life in him and now ill never turn back because no matter where I've been no matter what I've done IM FORGIVEN !!!. And I just wanna tell anyone who dont know jesus as their lord and savior you are FORGIVEN too. In gods word it tells us GOD SENT HIS ONLY SON ! to DIE for YOUR sins and who ever believes in him will not Parrish but have EVERLASTING LIFE.
