It doesn’t end! Your carefully wrapped and cradled ornaments appearing from their places are always a surprise for us, your viewers though a welcome reunion for you as each gains it’s place.
You have such a sense for decorating...everything just looks lovely, stunning. Your home feels so welcoming and warm..I know people say that about my home, and that makes me feel so good. I want everyone to feel welcome.
You're so productive & motivated....which helps me when I'm feeling unmotivated! Plus you're good at so many things...cleaning , make-up, decorating, etc...!!!
Oh Sophia. Your decorations are just amazing. You certainly have a gift for it. I love your tree the most. Your theme is incredible! I would love a white Christmas. In Australia it's hot!! Trying to cook a baked dinner in the air conditioning. LOL Still I'm excited to decorate my house. Looking at your decorations i really would love to change my theme. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home xxx
Amy Howell I am glad you like it, it's such a non traditional theme, some folks have turned them mouth on it...whatever. Enjoy your sunshine, it's 21 degree F, here, we're freezing!
I just have to say that I loved your tour and all of your Christmas decor. Your tree was lovely and the ornaments were spectacular. I put up several trees myself, but thinking that I need to downsize my decorating a bit. I like how you left the lower branches off your tree to make room for gifts. By the way, I love your accent.
Hi Sophia, I absolutely loved your house tour and am looking forward to your 2014 tour! I think I'm going to start collecting non-traditional christmas tree ornaments, especially because of the colors you have. My trees are traditional, well, I do have what I call my sugar tree, filled with candy/cookie/gingerbread ornaments, but still, it has the traditional red and green, but yours looks absolutely gorgeous! Those blues and purples! Love them!
Hi Sophia! I first would like to say how much I look forward to your videos! Your enthusiasm is contagious and inspiring! The colors on your tree are beautiful, I do a color theme that is the same. It makes me so happy just to look at it! I have peacocks in the same colors too. The Arabian theme is very interesting. Your house is very warm and inviting and decorated beautifully. I don't know you but I feel as though I do :) keep up the great videos and hopefully we can meet Mom! It's obvious you are very close! Hugs and a very Merry Christmas to you and yours!
1st time I ever heard about it's bad luck to keep decor up past the first of the year. I was always told the other way around. I say you do all the work it stay up if you want it up.
Very beautiful! Thank You for taking the time to share! :) Loved seeing the cute doggies sleeping on the couches....exactly what ours love to do! A very Merry Christmas to you and your family!
Just curious about the 1001 Nights theme? Is that a tradition in France? Also how tall are your ceilings downstairs? It is all beautiful. What do you do with the things your kids make, handprint ornaments etc.?
Hi Pamela, that is exactly what it is, each one member of the family is assigned a basket, we put the downstairs junk that needs to go up in the baskets and empty them at the end of the week. It keeps the clutter in control!
Hi Jeannie, to be honest, I really can't remember other than we went to the World Bazzar or World Market way back in the days for our first Christmas tree together and there was the Genie...I get it went from there.
+Amber Vasami we have a cat, she could not care less about the tree. but the dogs chased each other one year and the tree fell, I lost 5 irreplaceable ornaments.
tell your husband to put the stuff away since he thinks it should be put away before the year is over. you put it up and he takes it down. this way its even for both.

beautiful tree, love this video
You have books in every room like I do. Have you thought of doing a bookshelf tour/review? I would love it!
Hi Robin, Yes indeed, I thought about doing one as the main bookcase in the living room has grown to be an eyesore!
MERRY CHRISTMAS , Sophia to you and all your family.
❤ the ornaments! !
Gosh! I love peacocks!!! 😃

ohh I love the background music..what is it...
you tube free music for videos!
the 3 kings is January 6! I This is when we got our xmas gifts in Spain!
I would like to know more about the baskets on the stairs. Is there where you put items that need to go upstairs? I want to do that.
Hi Pamela, that is exactly what it is, each one member of the family is assigned a basket, we put the downstairs junk that needs to go up in the baskets and empty them at the end of the week. It keeps the clutter in control!
I always enjoy your videos! You did a great job- all the decorations look wonderful. How did you decide on your Christmas tree theme?
Hi Jeannie, to be honest, I really can't remember other than we went to the World Bazzar or World Market way back in the days for our first Christmas tree together and there was the Genie...I get it went from there.
Both your trees are absolutely GORGEOUS!!! I love the uniqueness of it all. (Sophia, do you have Instagram?).
No I am sorry, I do Facebook and Pinterest and that's all I have time for! Thanks for the compliment!
Sorry love it.
6th of Jan. 12 days after Christmas, hence the 12 days of Christmas.
I love that tree. I guess it's a good thing you have dogs and not cats. Cats would wreck that Arabian Nights tree as soon as you look away.
+Amber Vasami we have a cat, she could not care less about the tree. but the dogs chased each other one year and the tree fell, I lost 5 irreplaceable ornaments.
I have 2 cats and they never touch the tree :)

jan. 6th is three kings
