Pretty much one of my favourites ever, on any platform. Used to lose hours playing this. This was my favourite table out of any of the Pinball games on the amiga, and that's saying something as they were all pretty impressive (even the fairground themed one was a good laugh). And the music is just superb, this could have been made into a real table without changing anything!
Yes, they are. Digital Illusions (DICE). They started the career as "The SIlents", an Amiga team programming Amiga demos, then made the Amiga games: Pinball Dreams, Pinball Fantasies, Ben E Factor. Codename Eagle (for PC) was similar to the future success Battlefield; Motorhead (for PS1) was a good speedy futuristic racing game. Overall, a very good team.
Seeing this video I remember again how great this game was. Now I feel I should dust off my trusty old A500 and fire it up ones again to play this great game! I used to spend whole evenings on this table in the early '90s. It was great fun!
Brings back good memories. Many challenges between my and my friends. In the end they found it too difficult trying to beat my score or near 3 billion. thanks for the post. I thought it was called graveyard but its nightmare. :)
Amazing! And your so much better than me aswell, so many memories! I've recently downloaded the hd remake on my iPhone and I've become addicted to it but I just can't seem to get over 10 mil on any table it just seems harder maybe my reactions have worsened as I've got older who knows! I found myself shouting at my phone this evening, maybe it's time to give up lol.
Pinball dreams wow. this was my fav table i could sit and enjoy this game for hours. awesome. brings back memorys. betting and beating high scores. id love to see a full 3d redesign on these tables. just the main 4 this one a must. and have to keep to the sfx. sfx really made this game special.
my fav table in pinball dreams, was this based on a real table or completely fictional cause it was so awesome someone with some money should have a real one made?
The 1st real pinball I played regularly (as I'd always been video games only before that..) , was Terminator 2, and Nightmare pretty much looks like that layout, minus a moving gun top left. Not surprisingly loved Nightmare , even compared to Stones & Bones.
Crazy thinking its been 14-15 years (if not more) since i played it last time, but the music still sticks. Some parts of it is still amazing. Todays games got nothing on the these damn fine gems!
Williams noticed too: lawsuit was (apparently) threatened, and hence the PC and SNES versions of the game have the upper left portion of the table adjusted (which makes the play a bit less fun as its nearly impossible to hit the multiplier advance 'die' triggers')
In my best times i had scores 500.000.000 and higher.... This was when i was at home with a broken back for months. So i was able to play highscores almost blind .... great stuff!
think i still have some of the betatracks that never came into the final game left on floppys in my basement lol. have to see if they work still after almost 18 years;)
Too right playthegames. Woulda loved to see the player head for that jackpot pocket over and over again instead of so much ramp-play. However, thanks so much for posting this vid - absolute classic!!!!
If you find something that can play the MOD file, such as MODplug tracker or Renoise, you can just record your computer's audio mix using Audacity and then export it has an MP3. All the software I mentioned is free, just do a search on the name and they will pop right up.
This was the best music and best table in this game by far. Music and sfx is so fun and haunting I've spent hours on this! I hardly played the other tables in comparison. The other favorite of mine is "Stones'n'Bones" from the sequel followed by "Party Land". I guess I have a bias towards creepy pinball table themes!
Schwierigkeit: Normal
I actually got over 2 BILLION points on this table (NO JOKE). I had 1 billion and then got the double score. I think it was back in '95 or '96. I'm not that good nowadays.
Some of the best game music EVER, in my opinion. The title music was one of the best things my ears have picked up.
I lovet THAT table, THAT game, THAT music!
Great Digital Illusions, a decade before the "Battlefield" saga.
My friends and I played this for hours! I bought it for PlayStation too. One of my all time favourite pinball games!
This table really creeped me out when I was little :P
Great game. cool soundtracks on all tables. This one was the best though. Quality!

"Midnight gets closer"
Easily my favourite table. Well played too - I always remember getting to midnight then just missing every ramp.

the best pinball I've ever played

I had this game , loved the Music in it ...

As I already said for Steel Wheel: gorgeous! Good ol' Commodore Amiga...and good ol' Olaf Gustafsson; he is a genius!
@cheekyegg You played that with a JOYSTICK?! I never played with anything else than the keyboard (on my real Amiga, of course)
This guys really got theirs inspiration in Terminator 2 Williams pinball.
How I miss the glory days

IMO none of the tables in Pinball Fantasies are a patch on Nightmare
I spent hours on pinball dreams it's my favourite game
^^ die geile pinball weld giebs nun als mini game für psp:D
Loved this game although my favourite table was Party Land from Pinball Fantasies.

Wie alle Tische in Pinball Dreams nicht so einfach, aber dennoch würde ich diesen zu den leichteren in Pinball Dreams einordnen.

I played this level all the time. I had a highscore of over 301 000 000 something!
i broke 2 cheetah joysticks playing this, best table on the game but man it used to wind me up
a good player well done
@pianoman74 no keys, it was just always there infront of me - easy target
Did anyone noticed that this table is based on the real Terminator pinball ?
If you have a PS3..... now you can!
Plays great with Dosbox on XP
