You guys can say what you want. But, if I had a major job to do with a big client, this gentleman is the FIRST person I would call to make sure we get it right. Correction, this gentleman is the ONLY guy I would call if I had a major client.
How do you form the hole in that floating slab? I have had problems stripping those forms inside the slab and wondering how you form them and/or strip them out.
I'm a Professional Dog Trainer but if I wasn't, I'd be doing concrete. Your business advice is right on the money so hopefully people look past your confident statements and really listen to what you are saying. Congrats on your house in Huntington Beach!! One of my favorite spots for summers growing up... Please remember that your laborers cant afford to ever live in a place like that and should be paid a fair wage for their hard work.
Floating steps! I want to add this to my artillery soo bad! I pretty much got most of the math down on paper. My only question is.. is the overhang 3"? Or 2"?
@20:11 is that expansion foam or cement board under the form? I did a little mini version of this and it looks sweet but the forms were a pain to remove.
I missed it bud, I’m back and loving it again 🎉 and btw top performers with a high level of confidence is the furthest thing from arrogance….it’s called deep knowledge and superior experience…
I seen a few videos and like them all but I would still run dobies and tie into the other concrete with epoxy. Lifting it is not not enough in my opinion because its continuously stepped on. I get that dudes trip over it but it's a minor inconvenience for the workers to have the bar right in the middle of it. Keep up the good work.
Classy steps. I'm trying to picture the ground level/grass when it is done. Will it be below the sides of the steps? I know it doesn't rain much there but I can't help but picture water running into the bottom step (rains where I'm at a lot).

Lmao so your guys went back and put chairs under the rebar after they finished pouring because they didn’t do it during. They pulled rebar in SOUP, that’s not too quality work
You know what gets me… people who say we lift the rebar…yeah that’s fine but when the blokes who are screeding ( rodding ) they step all over the steel and push it back down, but WCC uses fibres and looks like 10mm stone in all his concrete by the looks and sounds of it as safe guard. It’s weird in this seismic zone there’s no engineers inspection though. But the crew does a good job doing the edge boards and finishing the concrete 👍
Cali Crete is something different.what slump is that? Either way final product looks amazing but in Canada we need more limestone base prep with proper density otherwise the concrete will not age well.great work!
