- Who really is General Brasch from Helldivers 2? Not much is said about him in the game. The community has made him into a legend similar to Chuck Norris though. But, there is a chance he is far from that. He could be a much darker figure in the game...

He could have been frozen, given it's implied that divers from the first war are still around, and their frozen capsules are the "valuble cargo" from those rocket evacuation missions.

In my headcanon, General Brasch is just a propaganda figure. Maybe the dude really existed at one point, but now is just a glorified hero figure for the AI to deepfake and use as propaganda.

Super Earth wanted him to live forever, so they tried to make him a cyborg. That didn't end well, because now he is the leader of the Automaton. That's the lore and I am sticking with it. One day, we will have to fight General Brasch.
That's a fun possibility. It'd be cool to have a genuine single antagonist on the side of the bots.

Augmentations go extend Genreal Brash's life don't need to be cybernetic in nature.
Biotechnology and genetic therapy could extend the life and your of brash to the point or still be a thing 100 years after the first war, something doable given the technological advancement if Super Earth and the technology captured from the Illuminate.

I think people in the helldivers universe are simply able to grow 7 feet tall
We literally have augmented dudes in the first premium warbond after they've lost limbs (the various armors), and they can store people in cryopods. This is grasping at silly things and the fun of it is greatly reduced by poor research.

I‘ve only watched till 2:48 because my daily internet time granted by the ministry of entertainment is almost up, but so far this is a very patriotic and informative video, no treason here
Meh, I still learned some useful things from those vids. Tips distributed over time, with the chance to fuck up in a VR environment, let's you learn at your own pace.
Frankly, this could be a more economic way to train troops. Distribute information and training in VR to minimize food and supply usage, then deploy for more effective shock troops.
Just an idea for the Ministry of Defense on Super Earth to consider. (VR that simulates some pain = more effective training. No pain, no gain)
I will dream of becoming the General Bracsh that my battle buddies can look too for inspiration.

General brash is still alive and kicking. Let me... Explain.
General brash served in the first galactic war. He is the only helldiver to canonically extend his contract indefinitely by his own will. He fought and lived through the first war, being extremely, EXTREMELY effective. His last battle was against the cybogs, him holding the line so his allies could extract. He was old, and didn't want to retire so this was a good stopping point. But here's the issue. The cyborgs knew who he was. They knew he was a point if inspiration. They knew how to extend life. It took some effort but all they had to do was run out his ammo.
This is why the automaton army is extremely difficult to fight and why they seem to sometimes use brash style tactics against us. *They borged him.* If you're wondering how I know that, well, its a funny story actually, you see

I've always thought that general brasch was the actual leader of super Earth while the president that gets chosen by the AI is a figurehead or cultural leader kinda like old Japan with the military dictatorship hidden behind the ideology this general brash is dead theory very much does work with the limited knowledge we know but didn't arrowhead like legit confirm that they have seen general brash toss a 500 kg from space in his super destroyer? Also the statement that super Earth doesn't physically augment living beings is just straight up wrong you would think that they wouldn't due to the automatons and cyborgs but just one look at the steeled veteran warbond and you'd see they have no problem replacing body parts with "democratic steel" not to mention the entire bug force that we fight has been genetically altered by super Earth both purposely and accidentally so what's to say they don't have the technology to make general brash survive 100 years I mean take a look at the stims those are supplies that are given to every rank and file helldiver and with one simple injection they're able to stop and repair all injuries from Burns to Laser fire to broken Bones to lacerations by giant bugs this miracle medicine is the standard kit that every helldiver is given multiple of and is in every supply box what's to say they wouldn't have medicine to keep a man alive after 100 years especially if that man is the general of your civilisations most elite military force
