the person they are singing about being so special, is the person they love, while looking in the mirror and singing about how inadequate they feel compared to that "perfect" love of their life. the blue light circle in the mirror is the power button for the mirror, for the light around it.

And the reflection in their eyes is from the mirror (not the camera).

If you don't know VoicePlay you're in for a treat. Everything they do is top notch, in whatever genre they take on. Raw emotion in this, singing about the insecurities we all feel at times. Anthony's name is pronounced as Garjoola. No J on this one, and yes he's two years in to a five year stint singing with the US navy music section. They are all so incredibly talented, so much more than just brilliant singers. And peace to you sir.

VoicePlay has been tackling and killing some really iconic songs lately. I love the chances they're taking and the way they're pushing the boundaries of their ranges and talents.

This so phenomenally fantastic!! These guys can do anything and turn it into gold. Had to grab me a box of tissues for this one. Cesar killed it with his emotions and I feel he deserves a hug, Eli did amazing with this arrangement. I have no words. I mean They all put so many emotions into this song. I was crying through most of it, and I have cried everytime I watch it. It hits deep with all my insecurities. It is already on my playlist! Great reaction!!

    Awesome reaction.
The song is about a guy that is stalking a girl. But feels he's not good enough for her to approach her.
The "she" in the song is the girl.
Eli arranged this one. Geoff had the mirror idea. And Cesar had the mirror.
I've been watching these guys for the last year and have been on their patreons just as long.

Welcome to the rabbit Hole of VoicePlay they done lots song which I love all their songs Oogie Boogie from The Nightmare Before Christmas but they also done a few other The Nightmare Before Christmas. If you react to the song Just Sing put the Sub Titles on because tells who they are and what they done. The members at the moment Cesar De La Rosa (Baritone/Tenor 2), Layne Stein (Percussion), Geoff Castellucci (Bass) and Eliezer Jacobson eg Eli (Tenor) they have had other members Earl, Tony to name a few.

If you've watched some if their songs already we don't have to tell you how amazingly awesome they are 😊 yiu already know.
Yes Geoff has a 5 octave range along with Layne and if Eli isn't there yet he sure is close. Cesar is still exploring his range but its always a treat to hear him giving his all.
If you haven't heard Geoff's newest song I See Fire from the Hobbit then i would recommend it. It really shows off his range.
Don't know what songs you've already heard so a little harder to recommend some, but even if you have heard them before don't be afraid to do a reaction to them. The Voiceplayers will love them anyways, and you won't have the deer in the headlights look a lot of reactors get
Looking forward to the next reaction 😊

Thank you very much for your reaction! FYI: The blue ring is 'real' around the light switch of the mirror. :) - And when you mention Geoff's solo projects, I really recommend listening/reacting to his last one: "I See Fire". It's the song by Ed Sheeran for "The Hobbit - Desolation of Smaug" and it's a) a real beautiful song and b) a perfect showcase of Geoff's 4-octave vocal range (5 octaves with subharmonics).

Just found you today doing a search for The HU reactions. :) I subd! Glad to see you have a diverse music interest. I'm a bit old school, 50's, 60's up to maybe some 80's, (well I'm old, that's why. LOL) some country music different era's depends on my mood. I do love all the acapella bands. Voiceplay are awesome and theatrical, as is Home Free and Pentatonix cover a lot of classic rock and soft rock. Great bands for harmonies. Home Free are sometimes quite humorous. I would also love to see a reaction from you of this very same song "Creep" by another acapella group that has been around way longer than the three most recently listened to. Search for Straight No Chaser aka SNC for their stuff. Their version of Creep is much softer and with deep feeling. They cover EVERYTHING, very diverse, you just might find something of SNC that you really like. Most of the videos are live stage performances and lucky sometimes to find some with great audio, a few official music videos that are awesome. Normally they are a group of 9 - 10 men.

Also Voice Plays cover of The Dragonborn Comes Skyrim. Sometimes Voice Play gets all theatrical in a video. They are known as The Theater Kids of a capella.

Just saw you reacting to Ren - they're 2 of my top five favorites, so I subscribed.(The others are Dirty Loops, Dimash, and Snarky Puppy) It's the musicianship and the sheer SURPRISE that catches me with all of them. Deep talent, and even deeper skills.
Speaking of surprise: did you catch that Ely arranged and did the video for this one? Only other time was Eleanor Rigby, and I'm thrilled to see him arranging again. It's a noticeably different sound, but still recognizably VoicePlay. Wonderful to hear a new dimension in their performance. To me, the mirrors emphasize the introspection, the "reflection" that each is engaged in.

@@tscompendium4602 The thing to remember with Dimash is that, like Ren and VoicePlay, it's hard to get a fix on who he is and what he does - because his range is so extreme. No two performances are alike, but everything is top flight. Dirty Loops is pure joy. No other description will do. "Work Sh!t Out" is a great place to start. They're not indie any more (managed by Quincy Jones) and not currently focused on UA-cam. But there's a wonderful stash of material, and loyal fans watching and waiting. Forgive me if you already know these artists, for saying the obvious.... And I'll check in on every VP and Ren reaction, regardless.

Not a ring lite camera but rather the on;/off switch for the mirrors. I re4searched the meaning of the song and it boils down to the writer had a vision problem and often wore and eye patch, etc. and teased by peers. feeling odd man out he had a low self esteem. The Very special is the woman he likes and he feels below her and just a creep or weirdo. - hope this helps
