The fact that this ride with ADV bikes requires a "team" speaks volumes to the mindset. It is far beyond me how this could be considered enjoyable motorcycling.
i ride exc500 - that said i truly applaud anyone riding any trails on big bikes and especially stuff that is tech like this - you guys on big bikes across the world are heroes in slo-mo, love it all the way from wet and coooold England
I was riding in Utah back in May and said it would be super interesting to watch someone like Pol Tarres ride this route on a T7. That is some crazy riding there guys!
Ive watched so many vids of this trail, and this is by far the most realistic, most accurately documented footage of the steepness, stepiness chaos that it seems to be. Well done!!
I watched tons of enduro videos on it but they are going so f'n fast that you can't get a sense of the gnarliness of the trail. There were a few sections where we sat at the bottom and just laughed (nervously). Good times ;)
"Crucible", I know many people call it the "Crux" , but old riders called it the Crucible: "An extremely difficult experience or situation; a severe test or trial: synonym: trial." But you guys did a GREAT JOB!! Bad Ass! You PASSED your crucible.
Thanks. He died in a bike accident and I found out as we were loading our bikes to go do this trail. The riding wasn't the only challenging part of the day.
Just nutty guys! That is an Observed Trials course not an ADV track. Have fun, fix all the stuff you break and I will see you in the saloon after you have healed.
@@CamelADV I just received the T7 foot pegs, and they look awesome! The packaging looks great, and I will be ordering the Rear Brake very soon. Keep up the great work!
This is the heart of pure, hardcore adventure riding. I enjoyed this video start to finish and even had to replay bits over and over again. Wicked adventure. I'm even wanting to sell my Indian to get back into this again. More content, please! SUBSCRIBED.
It's good to see guys that are actually skilled riders. so much of the adv vids seem to be youtube reviewers that think double track with a little "hair on it" is difficult lol
So awesome. What rider height/weight is needed to do this with an 790/T7. I've got a 32" in-seam but that just doesn't seem enough to plant on what you guys are doing here. Great footage
It would certainly be easier on a dirt bike. We all enjoy the challenge of doing tough trails on ADV bikes. We all have (or recently had) enduro bikes too, we just choose to ride ADV.
Awesome! Insanely brave riding on bikes that size! Congratulations chaps. Can't wait to come back to Utah, once they finally drop the vaccine requirements for international travellers. All the best from the UK.
Crash bars are rigid and bulky. They don't deflect obstacles or absorb impact, just transfer force into the frame or the engine which will eventually fatigue and fracture. Plastic is cheaper!
At 57 there is almost a 100% chance that I would never ride my 890 S, even if outfitted with better suspension, on a trail like that. My KLX300, yeah. Kudos to you guys for taking the mid weights on that track. I'm sorry to hear about your friend. It seems to happen to the best of us too often.
Magníficos lugares. Hermosa senda.
You know you are riding with good friends when instead of helping right away, they grab cameras to get the crash pics!...lol...still trying to figure out why anyone would subject themselves to that...holy crap!!!!!! Condolences on the loss of your friend...I'm sure that took a bit of a shine off the trip.
I broke my back at 24, collar bone at 25, tibia and fibula at 32. I've been in pain every morning of my adult life. However, I'm going to keep doing the things I enjoy.
You guys are crazy! Ridden that trail on a WR450, Sherco 300 4t, and several Sherco 300 2t's. Can't believe you are doing it on ADV bikes!!!! Did you make any special changes for this trail?
Wow respect amazing riding from all of you guys. Also great video the slower pace of the adventure bikes really showed the difficulty of the iconic trail. I wish I could throw my 300l around like that. 😂 😊
Very impressive riding. A place I would never take my bike. You were great being there together, helping each other though. What are those little straps used to help get the bikes up?
It definitely was a team effort. The strap is a loop, about 6ft long. I don't know where you would by one, it was left it my van by another rider last year. It's quite useful.
Frisky. Motosickle wrasslin events are hard enough with bikes that weigh 200 # less. Good to see the T7 clutch can take that much hard use . . . if those are stock clutches.
They are stock clutches. I pulled mine apart before we left and it was well within spec despite 2yrs of riding stupid trails. I haven't looked since we did this trail but it didn't get abused anymore than normal so I'd be surprised if there's noticeable wear.
Bonjour est-ce que ce sont des suspensions d'origine les roues d'origine la démultiplication d'origine l'embrayage d'origine où y a-t-il eu des modifications ? Si oui lesquelles ?
You might be confusing Cliff Hanger with this one. Cliff Hanger is challenging (we've done it on ADV, video here on the channel), but this is a whole different level. Of course Birch would kill this too but I don't think he's done it yet.
LOL.. I took my wife on that trail... She was soo pissed. Ironically she made me take the last bail out option after we did all of the crux moves. I was having a blast.
The unspoken rule of "leave your bike upside down until we all get pictures" is pure adventure biking 👍😆
I'm happy to play along, I do it to my friends too
I smiled when I read this. Totally.
hahaha
The fact that this ride with ADV bikes requires a "team" speaks volumes to the mindset. It is far beyond me how this could be considered enjoyable motorcycling.
Pretty sure it's the challenge, rather than the riding pleasure
Now I know the T7 is way more capable than I am, I struggle to keep it upright just parking outside the cafe.
LOL! Thanks for your honesty 🤣 I've toppled over countless times in stupid places too... like the car wash a month ago.
i ride exc500 - that said i truly applaud anyone riding any trails on big bikes and especially stuff that is tech like this - you guys on big bikes across the world are heroes in slo-mo, love it all the way from wet and coooold England
Heroes in slo-mo, that's funny!
I was riding in Utah back in May and said it would be super interesting to watch someone like Pol Tarres ride this route on a T7. That is some crazy riding there guys!
It was a great day with a solid crew!
Radek is a serious stud. Strong effort boys! The best part of doing this is that everything else becomes gravy.
Ive watched so many vids of this trail, and this is by far the most realistic, most accurately documented footage of the steepness, stepiness chaos that it seems to be. Well done!!

Bonding through shared misery LOL. Actually, it was a fun day.
Love watching the insanity and skill of your group, You guys are killing it. 👍
I'm glad you enjoyed the video. Part 2 will be out in a week or two.
That's incredible! You guys have some amazing skills!
Thank you! Cheers!
Incredible.T7 without limits? Respect!👌👍
It's a capable bike for sure.
That's super difficult trail on an enduro bike let alone those big bikes, very nice riding👍
Now we are talking 👍 really some nice workouts 🙏
That is insane. Mad skills! Sorry for the loss of your friend that you mention the end. ❤
Thanks. He died in a bike accident and I found out as we were loading our bikes to go do this trail. The riding wasn't the only challenging part of the day.
Brilliant! Love it and happy to enjoy it vicariously from the comfort of my sofa…….
I don't think I'd be able to ride this on my RMZ-450, let alone mid-size ADV. Hats off to you guys!
It was challenging but fun.
if it looks steep on camera, it is steep! Respect!!
Just nutty guys! That is an Observed Trials course not an ADV track. Have fun, fix all the stuff you break and I will see you in the saloon after you have healed.
Nothing broken, just a pinch flat.
Insane riding! This is why I buy all my serious parts for the T7 from CAMEL ADV!
I appreciate your support!
@@CamelADV I just received the T7 foot pegs, and they look awesome! The packaging looks great, and I will be ordering the Rear Brake very soon.
Keep up the great work!
You guys are my heros! That was insane, my palms were sweating for 22 minutes. I wish I was able to ride my EXC250 there!
It's a pretty amazing area!
Camel ADV (Cory) - He not only builds the best big bike parts...he puts his money where his mouth is and tests the SH!# out of them. Impressive!
What can I say... I love my job!
Oh the sound of a skid plate being slammed..love it

Less ADV riding and more heavy enduro I'd say!
Part 2! I'm invested now! I wanna see some more stuff that I'll never ride!
It's mostly edited, just needs some massaging.
Awesome video Cory, What great time it was
riding with this crew.
Yeah, it was a great day!
Completely nuts! Just what I would expect from you and Radek! 🤣
We were glad the made it down. The whole crew was awesome!
It's good to see guys that are actually skilled riders. so much of the adv vids seem to be youtube reviewers that think double track with a little "hair on it" is difficult lol
The video we deserved! Every other big bike viedo I watch from now on will be boring. Well done sir! Holy cow.
I'm editing part 2 now. Should have it up in a week or two.
Y'all.. are.. fkn.. nuts! I love it!!!
No argument here!
Im impressed with this ride. Pure adv riding. Cant wait to see the part two. Kudos guys
I have ridden this trail many times on a dirt bike!! CRF450X, KTM300 !! Adventure bike ??? Nuts!!
So awesome. What rider height/weight is needed to do this with an 790/T7. I've got a 32" in-seam but that just doesn't seem enough to plant on what you guys are doing here. Great footage
I was the shortest at 6'2". Seth and Jaden are 6'3," and Radek is 6'5"(?). 220-270lbs.
This looks like a lot of fun……..with trials tires in my 350.
New 890s not here yet but given the choice, I think the 350 would be more fun
It would certainly be easier on a dirt bike. We all enjoy the challenge of doing tough trails on ADV bikes. We all have (or recently had) enduro bikes too, we just choose to ride ADV.

Always fun watching the epic places you guys ride.
I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Nice to have such good friends
I'm exhausted watching it!
Radek is an absolute unit offroading. And hes much older than I am, Im 23 and I KNOW I would be exhausted 30 mins in.
extremely awesome video, enjoyed every bit of it, especially after struggled with my 250 there.
It's a cool spot, isn't it?!
someone buy Jaden a pair of crash bars 😆 great riding guys, lots of skill there

my back and knees are killing me just watching this......
Nice riding. I've been hoping to get my SE to the 5MOH but unfortunately it's a bit far away.
This was so epic!
checking in everyday until they upload part 2 AHHAHAHA. man you guys are awesome
Nicely done gentleman👍🏻
Wow! That looks crazy difficult! Love it!
Definitely the toughest thing I've done on an ADV bike.
Magníficos lugares. Hermosa senda.

Todos tenemos enduro también, pero elegimos andar en bicicletas ADV. Disfrutamos el desafío.
@@CamelADV me imagino 👍🏻
Sigan disfrutando el desafío 😉

Wow borderline torture! Well done guys! Love the sound of the T7s.
We all love the grind.

You are all excellent pilots. It's scary
Thanks!
I’m sure the camera makes it look much easier than it is, and it doesn’t look easy.
This is insane! Those crash bars are stout af! What brand are they?
HEED Bunker bars, they are beefy!
Here I am at 60 years old wincing at this. Not because the bikes are being trashed. You will feel this day on a cold morning later in life. LOL
I broke my back at 24, collar bone at 25, tibia and fibula at 32. I've been in pain every morning of my adult life. However, I'm going to keep doing the things I enjoy.
that was awesome. thx for recording editing and posting!
Very impressive tackling this on big bikes
It was great day!
Credit where credit is due: doing 5moh on 450lb adventure bikes is the real deal. Good on ya.
Whenever I worry about dropping my bike, I watch Camel ADV.
I have a couple bikes that are in perfect condition but the T7 is my banger bike... it gets to do all the fun stuff.
wow, what a way to test and evaluate products !!
Yup, the Gut Guard had a lot thrown at them that day.
you guys are nuts, love it!
Wau that's awesome, and by the way "The fix" turns out just fantastic together with the "twin pegs "from Kai in Norway
Thanks for the update on the Fix with Twin Pegs!
You guys are crazy! Ridden that trail on a WR450, Sherco 300 4t, and several Sherco 300 2t's. Can't believe you are doing it on ADV bikes!!!! Did you make any special changes for this trail?
I usually don't run crash bars but I put them on for this trip. No other special mods for the trail.
What an epic video! 👏
Makes me want to load up my "Adversys" 650 and best the snot out of it in Moab!

Nice riding boys!! Way to kill it out there!

Thanks for the compliment. I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Madness!
Did the 890’s clutch survive?
No issues with it.
Very impressed, crazy, but impressed.
I'm glad you liked it.
Epic 'adventure' riding guys!
It was definitely an adventure!
Unbelievable guys, kudos!
Next level complete packed with camping gear ! Ha ha amazing ride!

That would be the smart choice!
Well done. Great riding
Thanks!
Epic riding as always!
I'm glad you liked it!
Brutal! What kind of tire pressure do you guys run in this stuff?
I can't speak for everyone but I had 22psi front and 18psi rear (Shinko 216MX). Fine balance between traction and pinch flats.
You made it look easy. Next time you can try it on a Goldwing.
It was a grind!
😂
Crazy bikers 😃Nice video
Hey, who did the CGI for this whole video? I could use him in one of my projects. 🤣
Absolute maniacs, I love it!
We aim to please.
All the gnar, legit !!
Would be interested in front tyre types and setup, pressure, any mousse? 😳
I can't speak for everyone but I had 22psi front and 18psi rear (Shinko 216MX). Fine balance between traction and pinch flats. No one had mousses.
Wouldn't it be nice to get a BMW 1200 gs out there 😉

It was a great ride. Keep your eyes open for part 2!
I'm not sure I do those trails by foot.

The bikes all have aftermarket suspension, but this is such a slow pace, it isn't an advantage. Stock wheels, stock gearing.
Fantastic
I've watched both vids. Would you say the T7s won the day amongst the bikes there???
Very talented riders. 💯
As always, it's the rider more than the bike. Two T7s and two 890s; they all did well.
Chris Birch made this look so easy. He’s amazing.
when did birchy ride this on adv bike? provide link please. i'd love to see it.
