    Great video! Thanks! What you can say about vibrations? There are rumours about a lot vibrations on 60-70mph speeds

      Thank you, realy appreciate it. 🙏
      To be honest, I can't say I noticed it to be much different than my 411. But then again, I'm used to thumping vibey and or single cylinders. Having owned 3 harley davidsons, 2 xt660s (Z and R) my Himalayan and a BMW F650 funduro, vibes don't tend to bother me.
      I will be getting back out on it soon so I will pay more attention to it next time round and report back. 👍

      You're welcome. As I say it's just thoughts at this early stage comparing it to my old 2019 411. The issue with the 411 is it's such good value for money. Its simple, easy to look after and goes anywhere. I do regret selling it regularly.
      Having said that......if I get to take this new one offroad and test it, I may end up being swayed. I dont think the hype has helped though to be honest.

      @@anidiotonboard6539 The current verdict is that this bike is better offroad. Better than even CFMoto 450 MT in that area and most of it because of the magic Showa front suspension even though it is non-adjustable.

      @gomongoose my friend who I ride offroad with alot is an absolute devil in the dirt. Years of MX and enduro etc. He was absolutely smitten with it and singing its praises. He's told me I really need to get it mucky to see what it's truly about. Really looking forward to getting it mucky.

    I wonder if this has raised the prices of the old 411?
    It happened when the new Defender was announced, real old ones went through the roof

      Atm 2nd hand prices and retail prices of the 411 have dropped dramatically. Seeing how sales do over the next year Will determine what happens. If the 450 sells really well and people love it 411 will become bargains. If the 450 doesn't do well then more than likely they will shoot up again.

    Morning Chris, like you said there's one or two alternative views here. I didn't think the power was disappointing to be honest, but the guys in SC were saying that in the last 100 miles the engine has loosened off noticeably, but to be honest I didn't give it as good a test as I maybe should've done - maybe a tad TOO sympathetic? I fully intend taking it out again before I make my mind up completely. It might be its newness, but I didn't feel so much part of the bike than I do with my 411. (this is why I don't tend to do test rides, I'm maybe not as perceptive as others) Good no holds barred video though, cheers buddy. 😁

      It's all so subjective isn't it??? Each riders differing expectations and needs, for example. Like you said, for someone like yourself who tends to go longer distance, bit of offraod here and there its probably a spot on machine and the power output etc is great. For me who likes to ride that little harder l and push the boundaries a little more, I'm not sure at the moment. It kust left me feeling like it could have done one on the power front, and whilst it's not all about the power, for the extra few grand it just didn't feel enough.......for now. After speaking with Robin, I need to get it offroad. He is totally and utterly smitten with it and well, as you know, Robin and offroad riding are symbiotic 😄.
      Time will tell, but no matter what I thought at the time of filming, the damn thing is really niggling at the back of my head. Give it time, I may yet be swayed. 🤣

      I would've loved to get on the trails on it, but the time constraints weren't conducive. I reckon Robin's got a healthier working relationship with the shp. It'd certainly make my Spanish trips easier, but I'm thinking about trying a CF Moto 450 in the meantime..... daren't say too much for fear of upsetting Blizzard! 😅

      @martintraffordmoorlandbike7121 he does indeed. He's known them a long time. I'm sure we will be allowed soon. 🙂 and I know exactly what you mean. The 411 are such characters, I'm pretty sure blizzard would know you were cheating 🤣

    I was always interested in the 411 but it’s just a bit too slow. Getting stuck behind trucks at 110km/h without enough power to overtake is bad. So definitely interested in this one now it has a bit more in the top end

    • @anidiotonboard6539
      @anidiotonboard6539  3 місяці тому

      I can confirm......it has alot more top end 😜 🛵💨.....honestly get out on one and see what you think. If you've never owned the 411 then you really can take the 450 at face value 👌

      @@anidiotonboard6539 yeah I’m going to try and take a test ride. As long as it’s performance matches a drz400 I’d be happy with that. My drz topped out at 140kmph but was enough power for day to day riding

    • @anidiotonboard6539
      @anidiotonboard6539  3 місяці тому

      @slakk5093 I'd be interested to hear how it compares, I'd imagine it wpipd come up short to the DRZ, but its a totally different kettle of fish isn't it. Its a technology advanced 450 where mosts others are still pretty old school. But it depends what you want at the end of the day. I reckon Enfield will be going to the Dakar next year.

      Funnily enough, a good friend said the same thing. He said get out on it again and get the revs up to 6.5k or so. I spoke to him after the test ride. So I'll definitely be going again.

    Nice to see a bit of honesty in a review! 👌 Too many youtubers beat around the bush, afraid if saying the 'wrong' thing. I'm not going to be in the market for one but I'd think it has to be a huge step up from the 411 though? I guess its all about one's intended usage. Plenty of power for sensible green laning I'd have thought, maybe not enough for hooning the B roads. How does it stack up against 'custard', not a million miles apart in power/weight?

    • @anidiotonboard6539
      @anidiotonboard6539  3 місяці тому +1

      Thank you me ode. I have no alegencies to anyone and I do this for a giggle. If others can giggle too I'm happy. It's 100% a step up from the OG 411. I think for the most part, people that have never owned a 411 will be smitten, those who have owned a 411 may struggle to move on. Obviously that won't be the case for all but I feel at the moment it may for most. Its the same weight as as the 411, but it doesn't feel heavy or imposing. It hides it weight very well. As for comparing it to custard.....it handles and brakes better than custard for sure. Custard originally was 48 ponies. Only 8 or so more than the 450. Yea its 200cc bigger and will have lost some ponies over time, but custard still feels alot more powerful. Its all horses for courses, what so you want out of a bike, where will you be using it most, what will you be doing on it etc etc etc. I think I'm a harsh critic as I'm ignoring all the hype and I like to ride my bikes hard. Ultimately I sold my 411 because I found myself wanting more. I'm not sure yet if this fits the bill when I could buy a 2nd hand low milage T7 with all the trimmings for the same money as a kitted top spec 450. Let me get it on the dirt and come back to you 🤣

      Hey sandy, I think it has so much potential. But I also really think it depends on what you're after. I really really need to get it dirty. I do like it, but at the minute, I don't love it. Not instantly like I did with my 411 anyway.

    Push it bro, push it. Its where this one excels, you're being too nice.
    Also, they have been restricted in Europe for some reason, here the top speed goes to 160.

    • @anidiotonboard6539
      @anidiotonboard6539  3 місяці тому

      😄 probably was. It was extremely wet and not being my bike also. No matter how much I get on with the dealer. I will definitely get out I the dry and play again. Is that 160 KPH? So roughly 96 mph??

    • @percentbigfoot
      @percentbigfoot 3 місяці тому +2

      @@anidiotonboard6539 yea, the stock goes to near about 95-96 mph. There have been some improvement mods already, including shedding weight and a decat mod which will further improve it.
      But that's simply making it fast for the sake of making it fast.
      Stock is quite okay acc to me. And I understand the road certainly was wet and safety is first. Do it only when you feel comfortable on the bike.

    • @anidiotonboard6539
      @anidiotonboard6539  3 місяці тому +1

      @percentbigfoot I can neither confirm nor deny that the stock model I rode may or may not top out at 94 😉
      Be interesting to see what does come out for it. People love tinkering. It could do with being lighter. Although it doesn't feel heavy and it holds it weight well, it still knocking on for 200kg. Heavy for its class of bike really....but as said you don't notice it.

    • @percentbigfoot
      @percentbigfoot 3 місяці тому +1

      @@anidiotonboard6539 There is weight to be dropped in there, u get the centre stand off, change the exhausts and there is a significant difference, at extreme it can go down to 165-170 kgs. But it's all about the taste, and purpose.
      It is flexible in that way. The wet weight is around 197 at 90% or more capacity so it isn't light I agree. It's balanced well and that's credit to RE.
      Would be looking forward to more of your uploads and how you feel in different weather conditions and trying different riding styles.
