Watched it hours ago. Amazing film, good soundtrack and unexpecting twist by the end. Maybe one of my fav movies of this year. John Cho, a national treasure.
I'm really glad that there are still indie movies like this being made and released today. Just watched it few minutes ago and I really appreciate this movie for what it is
Great movie, John Cho never fails to do good in a role. Mia Isaac has a promising career ahead of her, hopefully she is able to keep a steady streak and doesn't fall off like many young actors/actresses do. Movie had me tearing up and the Father/Daughter chemistry works great between these two.
Yeah, but did you see the rating? Rated R including some sexual content and graphic nudity. Not exactly sure how that fits in with a tear-jerker story about a father and daughter, but I'm sure it'll make sense in context.
As someone who came of age with Cho's silly stoner comedy Harold and Kumar, I've loved seeing him evolve into other roles with age and time. He still sneaks the comedy in but I'm enjoying his "serious dad" movies lately.
This is cute! It will be interesting to see John Cho play a father figure again and to see how he will approach this role. Searching was great if anyone hasn’t seen it yet, which was another father-daughter dynamic film Cho did. I’m excited to see how this film plays out!
Mia Isaac was awesome in this! And John Cho, a very underrated actor, delivers again. Approaching this age and with several health issues, this type of plot enters my mind often.
For me personally I don't watch emotional movies I love action and comedy, I only watched this movie for Cho, I loved every minute of it and il give it a solid 10
I am sad about fate of his Cowboy movie. He is an amazing actor and deserves all the success. Definitely among the first Asian actors to break barriers. And way more handsome than Tom Cruise and like.
@@selfieignite Selfie getting cancelled is one of the only times I was in absolute shock and anger about a show getting cancelled. It was a legitimately amazing series.
@@PeRiDoTs13 It was ahead of its time! If you haven't already seen it, on my page Karen Gillan made up the ending to Selfie! I wish they could do a reunion.

This movie sold me on casting Mia Isaac for a project I'm working on. The work she and John Cho accomplished in this film is remarkable. An absolute wonder of a film.
its a very bad movie that try to catch u emotional. make ppl feel bad. what kind of person u have to be to watch this kind of movie or rate it positv. enjoy ur husstle homeboi
Watched this yesterday with a girlfriend of mine and we both really enjoyed it. She wasn’t as enamored with the performance as I was, because she has never seen Harold and Kumar😂❤️
there are a few nude scenes when they go to the beach. cover her eyes during the beach scenes and you should be fine. It's gonna be right at the beginning and then also near the ending as well.
It's okay it's got a good story behind it not much action at all. Definitely a tearjerker near the end unless that's just me showing my age and my emotions LOL I'll give it a 6 out of 10
I hate this movie. It was so emotional. Super sad! Definitely worth watching. Amazon prime guys. Be prepared with tissue boxes. It’s a freaking “Stupid” tear jerker dammit!
I can't believe that John Cho is almost 50, and still looks fantastic
He's actually 72. Hard to believe!
Of course...he's Asian..they age extremely well
Asians don't raisin.
What?! He’s almost 50?! No way
No he is 108
Just watched it and wow…cried a river with the ending. Such a wholesome movie.

Why even mention that there is a twist? Now people know to expect the unexpected. Kinda spoils it.
National Treasure?! You sound silly.

And Kumar worked at the White House for human relations for Obama! Not bad for potheads
i love him in "Selfie". his chemistry with Karen Gillan is INSANE!

He also played a caretaker/father figure for foster kids in the The Exorcist TV show (season 2).
I almost NEVER cry during a movie, but this one had my eyes welling up.
Those with father's in their lives are so blessed 😔
yet they don't know it.

He definitely deserves better! Have you seen him in Selfie with Karen Gillan? He makes a great romantic lead

A wee gem of a movie. A movie about a road trip across America....filmed in New Zealand.
I just finished watching it. I'm crying my eyes out. Very wholesome movie of father and daughter. All love. 😭💜

This was legitimately one the greatest movies I’ve ever seen. And I’ve seen thousands of movies over the course of my life.
I’m guessing that’s literally Kaya Scodelario’s only scene in the movie.
she plays a good role in the movie. Most of the movie features scenes of John Cho and Mia Isaac, but she is not an insignificant character though.
Tear jerker movie hard for me to watch.
