I agree. I don't get tingles, I never have but whispering just makes me SOOO sleepy. It takes me hours to fall asleep most nights but, whispering has taking it from like, a 4-5 hour excursion to a 1-3 hour one and that is huge!

Hey Rift I would like to reccomend this Playstation Exclusive called Persona 5 Royal, It's a very fun game and it can get deep, the game is a JRPG and turn based combat and if I'm being honest I'm not a fan of turn base combat games but Persona 5 Royal made it really fun for me, the characters are very interesting and for me I can relate to them a lot, story is amazing in my opinion so I think you should give it a look

Ephemeral Rift When you finish Persona 5R I also recommend the other Persona games in the series. Persona 4G was released on steam (idk if you play steam games anymore I think you said you didn’t). Anyways I hope you enjoy a game that for better or worse changed my life.
I've been a ps1-2-3-4 player for a while now. I've switched to pc and the main difference between them is the prices, in ps4 every game is like 70 dollars and with steam you don't need to pay that much, aaaaaand the online it's for free

Okay, honestly, what is a better opening to a game than seeing a shot high up in the sky and suddenly the body of a man dangling upside down with a ginormous shadow enveloping the terrain below? I think that is one of the most iconic moments for an opening.
Not too many people noticed this, but: The "Kena" game is made by the same studio that made that incredibly animated "Zelda Majora's Mask" fan trailer a while back.
The Oddworld games are amazing. The newest one being a remake of the second game from 1997. If you're into Fromsoft, you'll love Oddworld, because they take the same level of care and creativity with their world building. I started off as a fan of Oddworld and Fromsoft games were like a natural transition.

So I'll give my experience with an SSD vs. a regular Hard Drive with an easy to understand example. Back during the Legion expansion of World of Warcraft, Dalaran which was the main hub of the expansion had a notoriously slow load time for a lot of people. I'm talking a good 2 - 3 minutes just to load in if it was busy. I got my first SSD during that time, and I went from those long load times to loading Dalaran in around 5 - 10 seconds, if that. SSDs are a lifesaver for big games. Literally. They will save you from wasting longer periods of your life waiting for load screens and instead let you actually play the game. It's definitely exciting that they are finally putting them into consoles. I just hope they don't drive up the prices of the consoles too much because SSDs are much more expensive than Hard Drives.
STRAY looks like it's has a lot of ASMR Let's Play potential ! I remember years ago I saw a post about some game in production called HK Project, nothing given other than it was in development. It LOOKED like some very small indie project. Looked for any update I could find on it and then BAM it's a PS5 backed project. So happy !!!
I absolutely love all kinds of games however the PS5 I'm incredibly excited about. As far as types of games it really depends on literally what I'm able to play which isn't anything against the way the systems are built, I just have a weak hand so when I play racing games, the level ends fairly quickly yet if it's something like summoning an aeon and initiating their overdrive I do well at that. As a sidenote, I watch ASMR daily and being that I'm a long term resident of the sanitarium I realized after seeing this that even words that sound like sounds (for instance ratchet and clank) put me into even more of a relaxed state so as always thank you ER. I appreciate everything you do and it's nice to have similar views on so many topics with you as well.
Ratchet and Clank was whole childhood. Owned every single game in the franchise, (there's more than a dozen) and played through them all many many times... Surprised insomnia is still doing it, haven't thought about it since 2014.
