That flat wash is so challenging trying to get it to look good. I will keep trying, though. Part of my problem was making my flowers too small so that I had too much background to paint in flat wash. Thanks for the tutorial.
Such a pretty stocking. Oh, Pickles must realize you are busy and can’t check on her. A little squirt bottle may be necessary. My daughter and her husband only had outdoor trees for a long time due to the cats they had! 🐈⬛
If it's cold press watercolor paper it's a bit more textured than hot press paper and you'll choose the bumpier side! If it's hot press it'll be more smooth and I'm not totally sure! I always use cold press watercolor paper. You can test a piece to see which side holds paint better if you can? Good luck!
Oh cool! I could see the Blooming Butter tangle here also. Great instructions and lovely outcome!🎉 ❤

I have learned a lot from watching you do this
Oooo, that was fun and tricky.... The pink was easy but the blue was anything but! 😅 I like my effort though ❤️

So awesome. I enjoyed this!
So fun! I am watching at night in California after a stressful job. I don't know what looks good, so I am just having fun!! Cheers.
I'm glad you're having fun! :)

I cut my paper to size and then didn’t know which side of the paper is the correct side
