I was excited to see your ink exploration, Karyna. One of my recent favorite green inks is J Herbin Vert Altanide. It’s such a beautiful green with a subtle silver and gold sheen.
Iroshizuku chiku-rin and R&K Alt Goldgrun are two of my favorite greens. I came across them from folks sharing their favorite inks. Thanks for the Ink Exploration.
Oh, this was so fun! I really liked the Rohrer and whatever the second name was, and also the very first one you swatched. Really, I liked them all, though; I mean, how could you not! I'm looking forward to more of these.
I adore my Chiku-rin & Alt-Goldgrun! I recently added Birmingham Pen Co Arugula which is almost a green black but they had several and it was difficult to choose which to go with. Thank you for these, I love getting to see several colors of a family all together.
A great lineup of green inks. You may want to try J Herbin Vert De Gris and Vert Empire. These are beautiful green inks. I need to try that Rohrer & Klinger.
My favorite green ink to write with is FWP Peter Moss. I’ve reinked my TWSBI 580 Diamond 3 times with it. It pairs beautifully with Sterling Ink stickers because it’s such a natural color for foliage.
I love this and can’t wait to see more in this series. I’m about to ink up my TWISBI eco t with the sailor 162. So interesting to see how pen and application can affect the final color, even when it dries down. These are some beautiful greens. I gravitate towards blue and purple inks. Excited to see what you share in those color families.
Great exposure... love seeing all the various shades of my favorite color in one place.... We definitely share a kin when it comes to green. Thank you.... Again, great content. Just relaxing. Xerxius Maximus
I got a sample of R&K Alt-Goldgrün and Sailors Waka-uguisu, and was so happy that they were so similar, since alt-goldgrün is so affordable. Robert Oster Avocado was another favourite from those samples I got, a popular green for a reason!
Here is a few that I think you could look into. Herbin has a lot I like look at the vert (green) inks. I love my vinta sea kelp they have great greens. Troublemakers hanging rice. Diamine salamander. Tiacci sabimidori. I had to stop looking at dark greens but work safe ones my go to are sailor miruai, noodles zhivago. Forest greens hunter greens and green blacks sneak into the office meetings fine. I do have the shin Ryoku and it’s a great. Grey greens I love but stay away from due to the need to keep readability high.
I'm fond of J. Herbin Lierre Sauvage and Colorverse Sea of Tranquility. On the bluer side -- Taccia Ukiyo-e Hokusai-Sabimidori and P.W. Akkerman Zuiderpark Blauw-Groen.
I love your greens! I just ordered a new one from The Birmingham Pen Company out of Pittsburg, Pennsylvania USA. They make their own inks. It shipped yesterday and I can't wait to try it.
This is such a fun video! I don't think you and I have a single green ink in common: I have Sailor Manyo Ukikusa, I love the shading of it but it seems pretty similar to your Diamine Meadow. Sailor Ink Studio #460 is a vibrant green that leans just a smidge blue. Way less than your Iroshizuku ink. Colorverse Dec 7, 1787 is a somwhere at the intersection of blue, green and gray. It's really lovely, but a smidge too dry for the kakuno EF I have it in. I'm about to ink up one of my pens with Sailor Studio #280 which is a multishading ink that's part olive green and part orange. It's a really cool color, I'm looking forward to using it!
Your ink videos are so enjoyable to watch! Coincidentally, I just inked up Sailor Studio 162 before watching this, and it's looking very blue-grey on Tomoe River paper in a BB Kaweco Sport nib. I have more green inks than any other color and so many favorites. Maybe I'll add another comment about that later. In the meantime, before you get to the teal inks, I can share that Ku-jaku is pronounced coo-jock-oo, not coo-jah-coo. And Syo-ro is pronounced show-row. Both confirmed by my Japanese friend, who also reminded me that in Japanese, there is no stronger emphasis on one syllable as there is in English. Hope this helps!
Hello Marilyn! You are famous from the Anderson Pens podcast! Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment! And thank you for the help with the pronunciation - such a beautiful language!
All of those inks are so, so gorgeous. My favourite green ink is De Atramentis Jane Austen. It's a medium-darker avocado green that shades really well on Tomoe River Paper. It might be too close to some of the greens you already own though. Lovely video as always!
How Ironic! I was just thinking that I needed some green ink! I love the darker forrest greens! That Shin-ryoku is amazing!
Great minds think alike!
Yes, it is! 💝👍

I'm also a fan of Alt Goldgrun and Meadow. A couple of others I really like are Robert Oster Jade and Sailor Tokiwa Matsu.
Great recommendations! I will have to order samples of those! Thank you!
I second Sailor Tokiwa Matsu 💚🖤💚
These are all so pretty! the studio 162 is my favorite
Green goddess here💚🍀🌿🐉🥦🥒🥬🍏🫑this was my first time seeing your green edition.. lovely
Thanks for watching!
Your videos are calming and so nice! Thank you foe sharing your swatches with us!
Glad you like them! Thank you!
Iroshizuku chiku-rin and R&K Alt Goldgrun are two of my favorite greens. I came across them from folks sharing their favorite inks. Thanks for the Ink Exploration.
They are all so lovely! I love alt goldgrun and avocado. A viewer recommended Diamine classic green and I think that would be a lovely addition!
Ooh I do need a sample of that Diamine! Thanks Liane!
I love the color swatching. Watched Liane’s reds today too.
Green is so relaxing to write with, in my opinion. Nice selections. I really like the Diamine. I’m using Noodler’s Cactus Grun at the moment.
You're on point - green is so relaxing to write with!

Rohrer & Klingner and Chiku-Rin - good choices!

Thanks for watching! I have also tried Arugula and that is a good green!

I have Vert de Gris and I love it! I'll have to try Vert Empire - I've heard great things. Thank you!

Thank you so much! I have plans to do these in every colour family that I have. My blue video may have a part 1 and part 2!

I've used up quite a few of these. I need to purchase more green!
Nice ink comparison video, hope you do more videos like this. Subscribed !

Karin, that sounds lovely!
Thanks. Yes, I have ordered samples from from Pen Chalet (4ml). FYI The Pen Outpost is quitting business, so all the samples (3 ml.) are on sale.
Love green inks! You might want to try Dr Atramentis Plum, which is also very water resistant! And colorverse’s Walk the Dog….
Great suggestion!
Green inks are my favorite!!!!!!!!

Thank you, Katie! That Sailor 280 is one I've seen in a few videos - it looks so confusing but interesting!

@@KarynaLovesToPlan Ha ha! Yes, I guess Anderson Pens has made me a little famous. I'm planning a trip to their shop in August. I can hardly wait!
@@marilyngardner4269 so jealous! I would love to visit their store!

I have only ever tried one De Atramentis ink and it was document black. I'm always interested to hear about other brands!
Love this style of swatching, it adds an extra flair. Do the Pilot inks retain that complexity when writing with them?
In a finer nib, not so much. But in a medium or broad, I believe they would!
Thank you. 💚
This video was meant for meeEEEEEEEEEE!!
Yay!!
Try Walk the Dog by Colorverse
Thank you for the tip!
I’m looking for one that looks like money. I’m using it for a goal setting journal. If you know a good one thanks 🙏 😄
Have you found one? If not, consider Kaweco's Palm Green.
(currently, Anderson's has a 3mL vial on sale for $1.50 USD)

Thanks. I’ll check that out sometime. I found one by Private Reserve Ink Called Avacado.
