Same thing that ryanberry does which I'm sure you already know. I prefer that style for the honesty in the quality of games that you can expect from the tank
Daily reminder that this, the T26E5, T26E1-1, T34, and T30 all sit at the exact same BR as the regular Pershing for some ungodly reason.

And the m26 is at the same BR as the fucking TIGER 2 H!
just a worse super pershing, and gaijin thinks this thing along with the IS-2(1944) are equal to the king tiger, the whole 6.7-7.7 is a mess
it has worse gun and armor but has better mobility and reload.. thats how pros and cons work.
@@petrkdn8224 minor pros in contrast to major cons, a few seconds of reload dont matter too much with a gun like this and the mobility difference isn't high enough like the T44. the pershing isn't a fast tank to begin with you won't be beating any soviet medium

I always use this as a first spawn at USA 6.7. Sure it’s not fast, but it’s the fastest of all the Pershing variants except for the base model, and it’s got a great cannon with a decent reload. The trade off is you can’t take a shot, but you can somewhat make up for this with the mobility increase.
Usually my first spawn too :) (other than E5 in a full down tier because I am a bully 😂)

The Super Pershing has the early long 90mm which had the issue of almost impossible to load rounds, leading to the T32 using two piece ammo, which still didn’t help that much.
The M26E1 uses rounds of roughly the same length as the short 90mm, getting rid of the main problem of the early long 90mm guns.
There’s honestly no reason for it to have a much longer reload than the Panther II or Tiger II.
(This and the Panther II should honestly trade reload speed.)
However the wider rounds obviously led to less ammo capacity and fewer ready rounds and it was deemed unnecessary after WW2.
Unfortunately Gaijin think this is balance. Very obviously certain numbers are artificial when you look at how long the T32s take to reload.

20:42 It's a new feature available only for the Russian tree, the ability to change your tank at will during a match. Of course only implemented in the name of balance. Snail knows best!
The reason they removed this tank and only bring it back on july 4th is cause they know people want it and by removing it the rest of the year it prevents you from getting it on the christmas sale
If there will ever be a day when War Thunder decides to make the PantherII, TigerII 10.5cm or the Flakpanzer341 available again...
I would buy all three of them regardless of the price.
Highly unlikely they were never built. Well the Panther 2 had a hull without a turret. They USA put a Panther G turret on it

My favorite part of 6.7 matchmating is getting shoehorned into a 7.7 full uptier 99/100 matches

Epic video, =TPYT= Player! This new format is amazing imo. Feels more authentic and i'm sucker for that. No sugarcoating, just pure gameplay, no matter if it's good or not, i'm here for it
Wish this thing was 6.3(yeah, it's too good for that) or cheaper. Think I would just get the premium M46 half-off and make a mega 7.0 lineup.
For the M 109 A1, it doesn't matter in which version you have the M26!

the regular M26 was my favourite tank until gaijin decided to move it to 6.7 (still trying to figure out why). Since then i didnt play a single match with it, cause all the other variants are just better

The M26E1 is now my most played tank of this BR, got the best match ever with that tank (17 kills, 2 assists, 1 cap, 0 death in a full uptier)
it just feels great overall
M26 works just fine at 6.7. It still has great mobility with decent armor in the turret, comparable heavy tank armor in a full downtier. Just don't play it like the other pershings. Honestly i hate the T26E1-1 because it basically has thr same armor profile as the M26 but can't move for shit, definitely my worst performing and most hated pershing

Let me educate some of you guys, while the guns do look similar the ammo used is not. The ammo used on the M26E1 is smaller in size than the ones used on the T26E1 thus the shorter reload.
I like it and showing the end even though you didn't bring a plane...
jeah...those hitboxes really pushing it in the worst way possible.
I didn't play the M26s until i played France and it was a lot of fun to the point where i bought this because it has the same gun as the T32 and it's so much better with that reload too! But i don't think any of the Pershings should be 6.7. they should be 6.0 (least for the normal Pershing) and the E5, SP and the E1 would be 6.3. that is where they should be imo
The E5 is incredibly good at 6.7, if it was 6.3 it would break the game lol
@@Entrailraider Didn't when it came out. Still has the same design and weakspots as every single American heavy or medium. The problem is that german mains are braindead (along with most of the playerbase) so they shoot the thickest part of the armor and bounce and whine to Gaijin saying it's OP. it's the same argument used on the T32s saying they should be 7.3/7.7 which is bullshit IMO. let's not forget they brought a bunch of things like the Tiger P up to 6.7 as well which was dumb too

It's more comparable to a Panther than a King Tiger, and it's significantly easier to kill than a Panther.
The fact that no one is playing it, despite it being in three tech trees tells you enough.
@@brunobegic3841 How tf are you struggling with the M26 at 6.7? I only played it to spade it, and when the stock grind was done I ended up with a 67% win ratio and a k/d of over 2. The only mediums that are better in rank 4 is the M46, FV4202 and, depending on situation, Panther 2. It's a really good tank and absolutely dunks on panzer 5s and Tigers. It would absolutely destroy 5.0-6.0 if it moved to 6.0.
The t29 is the only heavy you need to buy for america.

I'll never understand people's gripe about "cherry picked matches". It's a patently ridiculous argument against a content system that's supposed to be entertaining by design. "Show your shite matches too!" just doesn't add up to entertainment. I mean, I'll still watch because I find the creator to be entertaining in and of themself, but I have no desire to consume a bunch of 4-5 minute death fests. If I want that, I'll just go play the game myself.

@@markfrost5164 I mean it makes sense, because the upper is usually smaller and you get the chance to get gaijined by the turret ring, but at least you see exactly what you shoot instead of dealing with side skirts hiding everyhing
