For some of the newer German players, the reason turny uses the Pzgr instead of the Pzgr 39 is because of the explosive mass of the shell. Although Pzgr 39 has more pen, it makes sense to bring out the standard Pzgr instead since it can over pressure some vehicles.

it can overpressure any vehicle as it has over the threshold for filler required to do so. And without penetrating. This is why with a good tanker, you can dominate with the flak 88 on long range maps. And why 37mm HE shells lolpen even a 279 sometimes.

Then there's the rare (In terms of War Thunder) tank that is the VK 45.01 (P), which i think doesn't have the 200mm of frontal armor.
Yes, you are right. To effectively play that just do the good old is2 trick and put your engine towards the enemy. This thing is as fast in reverse as it is in normal drive (which is not fast🥲).

oml this tiger. it is an absolute blast to play. You put a few bushes on the front of it and people immediately shoot the flat front plate thinking they can pen you, only to then realize they are the idiot, not you. It basically gets you a free shot back. Its one of my favorite tanks in the game, probably right behind the Tiger 2 10.5. Speaking of that, if you have the Tiger 10.5, I fully recommend playing that thing, along with the Panther 2. You can make a video on the entire lineup that was removed from the game but still slaps

This is why bushes are pay to win, they exist only to give you a advantage in hiding your tank (if you pay, of course), making it highly unfair and unfun to fight against.
@@el_gato8109 You know what's also different between them? The gun breach, the muzzle break, the sideskirts, the hull front, and lots of other minor things. If you are struggling to tell a Jumbo from a 76 sherman even when they are covered in bushes that is a skill issue on your part my friend

Cover this tiger in bushes, no one sees the diff and non pens the ufp.
Mind you, this is almost exclusively bought with ge, which you get from buying, which f2p players cant.
Also you proved me right and you wrong in the comment above, saying

3:22, I dont think the T 34 57 penned you front plate, he shot your corner and the sherman prolly penned either the turret or the cupola
This is the tank you don't angle. Remember that. It has horrendous armor when angled and can get easily penned.

Ah lovely the T-34-85 going through a 200mm UFP, sounds relaistic. What happened is the engine sucks on plate boundaries and fails to add both plates, so you have a 100mm plate on the edge. Dual layer plates/edges are bad juju for armour. It's why big thick single flat angle slabs do best for bouncing in this game. Complex while it can be a benefit, can also gaijin you more often.
Sometimes I think turny forgets some people carry emergency apcr in their jumbo for when you can't pen something
Emergency APCR in a jumbo wont do anything to this :)

I bought this thing on sale forever ago and have never really played it much, I really should give it another go.

Crazy that the 76 jumbo is 6.3 when all it has over this is the low speed stabilizer
It also has better turret traverse 50cal and speed plus not that much worse pen

It basically Tiger VI (Porsche ) hulls are taken to Built the Ferdinand Tank and the ELEFANT , the hull is original 100mm , but the premium Porsche have extra 100mm so it impenetrable at 5.7 , and also I Love both the Tiger Porches and The Ferdinand , those 2 are a deadly duel at each other's BR

Black Prince APDS at 6.0 will go right through it up to around 300m. It'll pen the turret around 1km though...

I bought this thing a couple years back not long after Phly did a video on it... for a week or so I just had the worst luck known to man and hated this thing.
However, with time I realised it was a good (ish) premium!
Its not bad, just the turret traverse, and as soon as you meet a semi decent player you're done :P

I will be the boring idiot. This is one of the tiger prototypes, this is porsche's entry. The turret got paired with heinschels chassis, and porsche was left with a load of chassis they had built because ofc they'd win the contract.
