Time to return to this super cool band! they are all so talented and real when they play their instruments and we can’t wait to hear more of them! Which comes next? Let us know! 🙌😁🔥👍
Try their phenomenal song "Warning!". It has Hard Driving rock, car chases, car crashes , explosions, maids strapped to the top of racing card a la Mad Max while playing their instruments and a great guitar solo. What more could you ask? Did I mention the song is phenomenal?
Like others have said, Onset and Warning are good to do next. Some of their older songs that are also great are Non-Fiction Days, Alone and Secret My Lips.
This song was written by the ladies. They write their songs since their 3rd album when they were allowed to write the song "Alone". Miku on rhythm guitar handling lyrics, Kanami on the lead guitar handling the instruments. They do mix in some English into most of their songs. The song was originally meant to be an instrumental, but Saiki liked it and wanted to be able to sing along. At 3:20, you can see Saiki (singer) and Akane (drummer) messing with each other. Saiki's making faces and Akane's doing super exaggerated arm movements, and Saiki actually starts laughing and has to stop looking at her. They play around with each other like that alot in concert. Their live video for "Freedom" has even more of it, which is my suggestion to listen to next. Also, their live version of songs are often different than the studio album version. For instance, the opening section where Miku (guitar) and MISA (bass) play back and forth, did not appear on the album version. They added it because Miku has been getting WAY better at playing guitar and they decided to give her an opening mini-solo section to show off what she's been learning.
Heyyyy what’s up man! Good to see ya back. Thanks for the info 👍 that’s insane that they have written all their songs. we are super impressed with them so far and we can’t wait to hear more. -S
I also found them throu reactors. I love their instrumentals (onset, dont be late and new one without holding back). I am not into japanesse music scene but singer is the reason why i gave them a listen and didnt turn them off after few seconds. She is great in any song. My favourite is ballad Daydreamig for guitar solo.
They definitely they write their own songs. They mix Japanese and English. Sometimes the English is difficult for American speakers to pick up because the pronunciation is not familiar. But they all speak more English than I speak Japanese...so good on all of them.
Love your enthusiasm for the MAIDS ! Yes they are writing their own songs ! Lead guitarist Kanami rights and arranges most of the music, Mike (on rhythm guitar and backing vocals) writes the lyrics. All of the band members contribute to the ideas for the songs !
Kanami in Band-Maid has been writing songs for a very long time, but the record company did not accept any of them in the beginning which was pretty depressing for her. She didn't give up though. Finally they accepted a song from them, Alone, in the album Brand New Maid (2016). Just Bring it (2017) was written mostly by Band-Maid, and the last 3 albums (2018-2021) have been written by Band-Maid alone. As you can see, they have been very productive, and it doesn't seem like they have the intention of letting up.
They wrote and produced their own album since 2016 (cmiiw) For the next band-maid's song maybe you can try "real existance live" or "onset" 😁😁😁 Btw Thank you so much for the great reaction FSR..!!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 #WeAreWithBM #bandmaid #takeovertheworld
Music composed and arranged by the band. Main composer Kanami Tono, main lyricist Miku Kobato. Enough talent in that band to edit four BIG kick ass LPs in four years, Just Bring It (jan 2017), World Domination (feb 2018), Conqueror (dec 2019) and Unseen World (jan 2021).
they write their own stuff. Kanami composes the music Miku does the lyrics Misa and Akane arrange the bass and drums. Oh and they call their own shots.
@@fatherandsonreactions - I'm doing okay Ethan. Happiness is a hot coffee, a triple chocolate chip cookie, and a Father and Son Reactions video at 6pm. The perfect way to end the day and transition into the evening!
Be sure to check the CC on the songs; they have been very good with it on their recent songs, and have apparently been back-adding CC over time to their older songs.

Damn! The longer I listened, the more I liked this. Ethan was right about the bass player...fantastic! Thanks for bringing new music to the forefront guys. Appreciate it.
If you like bass, you can try "I Still Seek Revenge" off their new album. Or if you want to hear a slapping bass solo, their live video for "Onset" on their channel is an instrumental that is quite incredible.
Kanami writes songs. She said she writes around solo. Misa and Akane will put down bass and drum parts. Miku writes lyrics. Saikei gets vocal parts down. But they have numerous interviews. Kanami in guitar world. Try songs onset, Puzzle, Moratorium, The Dragon Cries,Warning, Manners. But yes, they do add English words for their outside of Japan fans. The dragon cries they sing in English, as the video was made in NY studio. Band Maid, Nemophila, Love Bites, and Nightwish are my favorite bands now, joining my all time favorites. As far as Lovebites, there’s Midori at the NAMM trade show in Anaheim, California in January 2020 on YT. She played for two hours at the Kemper amplification area. She was in jeans, t shirt, her hair down shredding LB songs. It was so incredible. She is like Kanami, so down to earth, humble, beautiful person. It’s just a musician playing at a trade show, but I was in awe, gushing, like when I was young first hearing EVH play eruption. When i first heard Ann Wilson sing Barracuda, and Nancy play guitar.
MISA !!! MISA !!! MISA !!! the Barefoot Whiskey drinkin Bass Assassin , and the rest of the Band is Miku Kobato (aka ) Pigeon (Band founder , worked at maid café ) Rhythm guitar 2nd vocals n Lyrics , Kanami Tono Lead guitar / Shredder writes n arranges music , Akane Hirose (aka) Gorilla Drums , Saiki Atsumi (aka) Ice Queen Lead Vocals , Fan base are the Maidiac`s . The song Play was a instrumental but Saiki liked it , she asked Miku to write lyrics so she could sing with them .
The best hard rock bend from Japan - Band maid The best metal bend from Japan - Lovebites So, I strongly recommend to check out Lovebites. They are also all female band, playing mostly power metal, but with strong heavy and trash sound, and their biggest influences are oldschool bands like Iron maiden, Judas priest, Metallica...
A lot of people on the comments didn't know of them till now. You have dug the pigeon hole for them and there's no escape once you enter! So glad new people discover this marvelous band. Long live the PO! 🤘
There's another japanese, all female supergroup - NEMOPHILA. They formed in 2019 and i love their mix of genres and vocals. Here's a stunning live session: ua-cam.com/video/eyb2NtPwcxc/v-deo.html (the band is not blocking reaction videos as far as i know)
watching reactions to BAND-MAID is my favorite past time. Yours was like most. You can consider your self's as Maidiacts. A MUST SEE is the song FREEDOM from this same concert. The drummer as a drum solo that will blow your mind
Don't have much to say, since time is not on my side right now, but yes! Another great tune from Band Maid! I love how fun the songs feel, they just bring great energy within an electric composition. If I were to see them live, I have no problems dancing around to songs like this, while also appreciating how talented and complex musically they are. Hope to catch more reactions again, as I moved into the next (dreaded) phase of my writing (which is editing! The horror! Please wish my brain luck! lol). Stay well, you guys! :)
@@fatherandsonreactions (Oh god, my sense of time hath officially flown the coop! Now I have to go catch my Sense of Time again, before it escapes! o__O) Well, catch you guys again in the fuuuutuuuure! (why I write it so dramatically, is even a mystery to me) Always great checking out both your reactions! Listening to new songs and bands I don't know, and talking about them, is pretty sweet. Just seeing both of you get excited for listening to something (even if you come across something you may not enjoy as much), just amplifies that experience even more! So, Imma go catch my Sense of Time now. Hopefully I'll get that back by the time I watch another reaction. lol
I’ve heard the name, but not too familiar with any of their stuff. This was great! Seems like an awesome band to see live. Thanks for this guys, and as always looking forward to more.
@@adama1189 You should give these ladies a chance, at first the costumes and the language threwme off, to be honest, but let me tell you, they are a FORCE!
Hey guys welcome back. I love Band-Maid so more of that please. funnily there are more english lyrics in this song than Japanese and as you listen to more Band-Maid you will hear the heavily accented english. I often wonder if Japanese fans are frustrated with so many english lyrics? There are 2 songs in full english "Don't let me down" with PG lyrics lol and "The Dragon Cries" which was produced by infamous Bowie producer Tony Visconti. I'm not a fan of the audio mix on the MV or the video itself actually, but the song is very 60's 70's bluesy vibe. first time i heard it i immediately was thinking Hendrix, Cream and even Zep Play lyrics [Verse 1/バース 1] Feeling, desire, heartbeat 準備出来たら Let's be playing like a game 始めよう starting 踊らされるくらいなら 全て To fire 壊して 本能に 逆らうな Try now! [Pre-Chorus/ プリコーラス] Play me 動き出した感情 Mine 止められない誰も I know I can do it きっと I know I can do it もっと Play shout out Oh, raise your voice (Shake body) [Chorus/コーラス サビ] Say yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah La, la-la, la-la, la-la Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa La, la-la, la-la (Be more existent) 狙い定め let’s go higher [Verse 2/バース 2] Happiness (There is no way out) Anger (It's gonna be all right) Sadness (Let go of your mind) 全部飲み込め Take off (there is no way out) Get on (It's gonna be all right) With life (Let go of your mind) [Pre-Chorus/ プリコーラス] Play me 飛び越えてく暗礁 Mine 怖がることなどない I know I can do it きっと I know I can do it もっと Play shout out Oh, raise your voice (Shake body) [Chorus/コーラス サビ] Say yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah La, la-la, la-la, la-la Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa La, la-la, la-la (Be more existent) 狙い定め let’s go higher 俯くな mistake, yeah [Pre-Chorus/ プリコーラス] Play me 動き出した感情 Mine 止められない誰も I know I can do it きっと I know I can do it もっと Play, shout out Oh, raise your voice (Shake body, hands up) [Chorus/コーラス サビ] Say yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah La, la-la, la-la, la-la Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa La, la-la, la-la (Shake body, hands up) [Bridge/ブリッジ] どんな花だって どんな人だって 永遠じゃない いつか散る 囚われないように 時を刻んでく living [Outro/アウトロ] 倒れるまで Don't stop, fighter
How Band Maid works; Kanami writes the music and sends it out (internet)to the members. MISA (bass) and Akane (drums) then create their lines. Miku (Vocal, rhythm guitar, Band Founder) is the prime lyricist with Saiki now contributing. From there they go into the studio to finish. Saiki has the call for "We're Done". MISA in an interview said her bass lines are pretty much incorporated as is. Kanami and Miku pretty much write all the time. They learned that when they do not write on tour they were heavily pressed to get the songs written and recorded upon their return. So now when something occurs to them, it's written or recorded. As several commenters have said their early songs were not written by them, though they were writing songs. Those were rejected. When Miku was asked about those songs she said they're gone and they will not go back to them.
The end of this song is the beginning to Domination, the first song you reacted. OK, only about 98 more to go. Enjoy (PS: I believe MISA [Bass] and Akane {drums} write their own parts after Kanami [lead guitar] writes the "demo". Miku {rhythm guitar/vocals/lyricist} assembled the band. Saiki is the lead singer)
Freedom from that same concert is another example of their more traditional rock, it's excellent, if you want something that really shows off MISA's Bass playing try their "About Us" Live from on their YT Channel, not spoiling, but it's a bit different sound from Band-Maid. Straying down some of their non-live Music Videos they release a few gems recently ( Manners, Warning and After Life)
Y'all hear correctly. They mix a bit of english in their songs and yes you did hear shake your body. The lead guitarist Kanami composes all the music. The backup vocals/rhythm guitarist Miku writes all the lyrics. So yes, the songs are all 100% BAND-MAID!
I haven't looked into Band-Maid beyond enjoying your reactions, so as you had questions and I had questions, computer has the answers: formed 2013 by singer/guitarist Miku Kobato, former employee of a Japanese maid cafe, recruited lead guitarist Kanami Tōno, a singer-songwriter in her own right, and she suggested drummer Akane Hirose. Hirose suggested bassist Misa, who attended the same music school with Hirose. After first performing as a four-piece they recruited additional lead vocalist Saiki Atsumi from auditions and performed as a five-piece band. Their debut mini-album Maid In Japan was written in collaboration with musicians Masahiko Fukui and Kentaro Akutsu. The latter being from a band called Zero. There's a great deal of further history on Wiki, but I picked up on an interesting footnote about their third full length album Conqueror in 2019, that featured a song produced by Tony Visconti - The Dragon Cries. Visconti is a notorious producer going back to the '60s when he managed The Move in the mid-'60s before they fired him for getting them into trouble with some of his outrageous publicity stunts, and replacing him with Don Arden (later manager of ELO and Ozzy Osbourne, and Sharon Osbourne's father). Visconti notably produced many times for David Bowie over the years from late 1968 to 2016. - That was this week's edition of It's A Small Small Small World! Enjoyed the song and the reaction, and look forward to seeing them on the channel again in the future.
Hey Dave, we’ve been missing you over on JEM the past few days. A few people asked about you, we hope all is well. Assuming you’ve been busy the past few days, but just wanted to reach out and see if everything is alright.
Hello! Regarding your questions, Band-Maid has written all their music since 2016, including this one, and they incorporate English into nearly every song. The improvement when they switched to their own writing is very noticeable, but it didn't stop there: they get better every year and with their latest album, released in January, have grown immensely in terms of density and complexity. If you are limiting yourself to live-only you will mostly be watching older songs. They've released three music videos from their latest album if you are willing to do music videos. However they did just release a new song, a thank-you ballad for the fans, with a live video. If you aren't interested in ballads, I recommend their live videos of "Onset", which is an instrumental, and "Real Existence" which has a bit of a harder sound. With all that being said, you guys have a lot of classic rock on your channel, so I think you and your subscribers would like "Manners" which has a real 70s-rock feel to it. Only available as a music video as of now though. Thanks for coming back to Band-Maid.
@@GaryHolloway-810 Haha yeah. :) Comments always (rightfully) hype up the live stuff so it makes sense they want those. They've seen Domination and now Play so they're halfway through the Holy Quadrilogy.
Great react love the energy im now a sub. Band Maid will never let you down they have a catalogue of about 100 songs and not one bad song welcome to the Pigeon Hole which leads to the Unseen World where we maidiacs reside. Long Live the PO!
Thanks guys. Just awesome. Glad you love them. Just cannot get enough of this band. So many styles, and they play them all so well. Misa is a beast on the bass, but the whole band is so mega talented. Saiki has an amazing voice too and Miku's backing vocals are divine . I could gush about Band-Maid all day. Best band on the planet for me right now. I am deep in a Japanese Rabbit hole right now and i dont want to get out. About us is a great song and change of pace, its slower, but its fire. Make sure you have the subtitles on. The lyrics are a heartfelt message to the fans
they definitely are insanely talented. So real and authentic. We love how there’s no autotune and they can all play their instruments so well. The perfect band!! thanks so much for the suggestion Steve. Take care! 🤘 -S
MISA!!! MISA!!! MISA!!! 🥃🥃🥃 Badass Bass Assassin, the added intro to this song had made a great song so much better. The conversations between MISA, Miku and Kanami before the song is great. Miku showing she can keep up with the other 2. Check out the Live videos of Moratorium, Puzzle, Take Me Higher, Turn Me On, Onset
Damn i didn't see you here. I was just going to say on Bookworm, Father & son reaction "Play". I guess you don't need me to tell you that now do you. Lol
Hey guys, Band-Maid just released 3 new songs in addition to having album of the year. They appeared in the Netflix movie KATE in Sept including 2 featured songs. Get your tickets for their online stream acoustic concert on Christmas Day. They have their own weekly radio show in Japan. Lets get some CURRENT creative kickass Rock music on the air.
Hey F&S, for a fellow hometown rocker. Check out Band-Maid ONSET-LIVE, an instrumental that will make you say "Now that's how you crush a Rock instrumental". Pretty please. Let's get some views.😎
They are amazing, as you can see. There's usually some English in their songs. Also, the newer videos have subtitles in English. Kanami the lead guitarist is a masterful songwriter (music) with lyrics by Miku (the second singer and rhythm guitarist)..
🐦 In 2016 with the song *Alone* was the first track that *BAND-MAID* wrote lyrics and music for and ever since then they been writing their own material. *Saiki:* happiness *Miku:* (there is no way out) (po!) *Saiki:* anger *Miku:* (It’s gonna be all right) (po!) *Saiki:* sadness *Miku:* (let go of your mind) (po!) *Saiki:* Accept everything *Saiki:* Take off *Miku:* (there is no way out) (po!) *Saiki:* Get on *Miku:* (It’s gonna be all right) (po!) *Saiki:* with life *Miku:* (let blow your mind) (po!) Is your Mind blown yet?
They do mix English in a lot. Keep an eye on the CC to see if they have subtitles. Many of their new songs have subtitles. YES they do write their own stuff. Miku (rhythm guitar and singer) writes lyrics and Kanami (lead guitar) composes. They didn't at first like many Japanese bands. The labels don't seem to trust new bands. You can do any other live song and it's great. But pretty much all of their songs are great.
Oh! If you're interested in other foreign bands, I know I've mentioned a few before, but they're pretty different from Band Maid. Regardless, I'm a pretty big fan for what they are, and what they do, anyway. Rammstein - Ich Tu Dir Wen (live) or Du Hast (live in Paris, which I know you've been suggested before). Rammstein is in the industrial metal genre, and are German. Solstafir - Otta (live at A38) They're a post-rock, black metal, experimental sort of group, and they are Icelandic. Some of their mmusic are less head-bangy and energetic, and more like an experience to get lost in (such as Otta). Sigur Ros - Hjartao Hamast (bamm bamm bamm) if you want something beautiful and engrossing, or "Isjaki" for something fun. Or maybe "Brenninstein" if you want something heavy in their catalogue. Sigur Ros is a post-rock group from Iceland. Most of their music is beautiful, and atmospheric, and are perfect listens for a rainy day. Some tunes from them also mix in heavier instrumentals as well. Sigur Ros is a top 5 group of mine, personally. Igorrr - Downgrade Dessert (I think you might enjoy this one). Or, "Very Noise" if you want a quick, instrumental from them (the music video will probably be the WEIRDEST thing you might ever see. Aside from a certain Aphex Twin music video, from my own experience. lol) Igorrr is a French, avante-garde, boroque, rock, metal, electronic, (the works) kind of group. Mind you, all of these will be DIFFERENT experiences from Band Maid. They aren't really traditional metal, or even rock, so if you do check any of these groups out, keep an open mind for a new, and different, experience. :) But those are some off the top of my head. I've listened to other Japanese artists as well, and other German artists, too (can you pronounce "einsturzende neubauten"? lol I don't recommend them as a listen, as they are STRICTLY industrial in an almost pure sense, and they're not for everyone, but their name is a bit of a meme in the metal/industrial scene for band pronunciations. :P )
And there's also The Hu, a Mongolian metal band. I believe they've been requested before, too, but I haven't listened to much from them myself. What little I have heard, though, I enjoyed. I like looking into music from different countries and cultures. I don't do it often, but it can be pretty rewarding in their different approaches to music.
yes they write own stuff for a couple of years. KANAMI (lead guitar) writes the music, MIKU (rhythm guitar) writes lyrics, and SAIKI helps with lyrics. THATS THEM. Suggest earlier stuff as your new to BM: MORATORIUM, DAYDREAMING MV, DICE MV, and only a couple yrs ago is my fav song BLOOMING MV.
Band-maid is awesome! Have you ever react to the Japanese band name Scandal. If not you should check this band out! I can give you some suggestions and links for Scandal songs. I hope you do a react video for Scandal songs soon.
Do not avoid their MV:s!!! Try "Warning!" and you will find out why. Their new songs have not been played in front of an audience yet and the new stuff is amazing. You can also try their on-line live song "About Us" for something different. Both got subs. "About Us" is B-M:s heartfelt love song to their fans and the about of not being able to play live during these Covid times.
They did an online live concert and those songs did get played, they have a DVD/Blueray release of that concert available now, only "About Us" has been released on UA-cam from that concert, likely they will release more from this concert in a few months.
Thanks for finally getting back to currently the best ROCK band in the world. Next try ONSET (instrumental). Their new song Warning will knock your socks off. Also try their rock ballad Daydreaming. All these songs are on their official youtube channel. They write all their own music since 2016. And for those who just heard BAND-MAID for the first time and you liked this song i guarantee their entire catalog of over 100 songs will not disappoint.
Their first 3 albums they weren't aloud to write their own songs till the last song on third album called alone you need to check out the mv since then they write their own stuff

Band-Maid is simply the best. But on the words, you just need to know your parts, which are: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah (and they sing la la la la la la la) You: Woah, woah, woah, woah (or lyrics pages say wow wow wow wow - but I prefer whoa) - followed of course by the aforementioned bevy of "la's"
They mix english and japanese. Like : "I can do motto" , motto mean more. And if you like MISA bass you MUST listen to their last album. She destory it.
A great song. I really enjoyed that.👍 I don't know who writes their song, but I have learnt, that there is a school (or camp) in Japan, where people like these girls are trained to perform. And if you ask them questions like about the future of the band, they most likely answer: "Only the Fox God knows." 😄
5:16 Been listening to kpop since Gangnam Style and yeah, if the music's good (let alone great), it doesn't matter - am kinda surprised (though shouldn't be) that people get hung up on that - guess that's just the 1st reaction (so to speak) for people starting to explore music from elsewhere.

These ladies can play! I really like the bass player though...she kicks major butt! Dat bass!!!! lol They are a fun band to watch and would be a gas to see live...doesn't matter than I can't understand most of what they're saying haha! My suggestion this time out is for some female-fronted symphonic metal that ISN'T Nightwish...this is Delain with "Masters Of Destiny" (ua-cam.com/video/nT14mlv92t4/v-deo.html). Cheers!
It sounded good the first minute when they tried to sound like Rush. As soon as the lyrics started, I was out. I will keep trying to get you to react to Japanese artists from the late 60's and early 70's. Please react to Atomic Bombs Away by Blues Creation. You guys avoiding suggestions - nah, would never happen. ua-cam.com/video/iolJupxKny4/v-deo.html
don’t worry Calvin. We aren’t ignoring anyone. We’ve got a lot of music to get to and we’ve definitely liked a few of your song choices. Radio gnome invisible has actually been played quite a few times in our house since the stream! -Ethan
Sorry....me again...lol. "FREEDOM" is the next song you should do. It's a live one from the same concert.....with an awesome drum solo!! This one is a must for new fans.
Everyone is writing various things, and A little supplement. This is the history of BAND-MAID that I have roughly summarized. BAND-MAID was formed around spring to summer 2013. October / 2013 Hand-painted leaflet by drummer Akane, Band members were handing out the leaflets in Harajuku. They write "talented rock maid band". band-maid.up.seesaa.net/image/201320E6898BE4BD9CE3828AE38381E383A9E382B7_R-thumbnail2.jpg "Maid in Japan" Released January 8, 2014 Single "愛と情熱のマタドール" Released August 13, 2014 track 2 "Thrill" track3 "Summer Drive" youtube "Ai to Jounetsu no Matador" And, as they sought the direction of the band, they chose a harder rock direction, and for that reason, the first MV was shot instead of the single "愛と情熱のマタドール" , "Thrill" was selected. The MV for "Thrill" was officially uploaded in November 2014. ua-cam.com/video/Uds7g3M-4lQ/v-deo.html&feature=emb_logo However, the band is sluggish. From "Engadget Fes 2014 Winter" on November 24, 2014. This is a video of BAND-MAID during the slump, performing an acoustic live (unavoidably) in a small event space instead of a live house. Miku says, "Please remember just the name." Still, you can see how high everyone's playing skills are. ua-cam.com/video/6AhzOrnLMWs/v-deo.html&feature=emb_logo 2015, spring to summer Kanami and Akane participate in "もちとちーず". Perhaps they are valued for their musical talent by their agency and asked to participate in "もちとちーず". And KANAMI and AKANE temporarily belonged to both of those two bands. Kanami is also composing there. ua-cam.com/video/WyWiYPE8qUY/v-deo.html&ab_channel=%E3%82%82%E3%81%A1%E3%81%A8%E3%81%A1%E3%83%BC%E3%81%9A ua-cam.com/video/j_lyFFCKYlY/v-deo.html&ab_channel=%E3%82%82%E3%81%A1%E3%81%A8%E3%81%A1%E3%83%BC%E3%81%9A Suddenly, "THRILL" was a hit on the internet in April 2015, and the band has been energetically performing live throughout 2015, but without that "THRILL" hit,Kanami and Akane went to "もちとちーず" and BAND-MAID may have disappeared. However, BAND-MAID held up. And "New Beginning" Released November 18, 2015 It also includes "Thrill" "Real Existence" and "Don’t let me down", the official MV for. A solo concert at Nippon Budokan has the same meaning as a solo concert at Madison Square Garden in the United States in Japan. Raised by the company, the company provides songs, the company trains, the company promotes, the company collaborates with each media, many companies co-sponsor, many concerts at the large capacity Nippon Budokan or some Arena There are several groups that do. BABY-METAL is one of them. For them, it's just a big concert. However, BAND-MAID won the right to a solo concert at Nippon Budokan by pursuing their own music and continuing their live performances by facing the audience directly. Only with the efforts of the band. Starting from that leaflet in 2013. And now Unfortunately, the concert at Nippon Budokan has been cancelled. The world is in a difficult situation right now, but I pray for the success of BAND-MAID. I think the appeal of BAND-MAID is all about live performances. At BAND-MAID, the high ability of CALL & RESPONCE, which has been cultivated by continuing to play at a very close distance to the audience in a small live house, becomes an excellent performance and creates a wonderful space. And the live take of BAND-MAID where it is recorded is really excellent. In the studio take, the song is playful and gives a slightly excessive impression, but in the live, it is tight and clear, the members are tense with each other's techniques, yet relaxed, and it is wonderful to wrap the audience with happiness It creates a sound space. I also think BAND-MAID is currently the best live band. In that sense, I'd like you to listen to the 2017 or 2018 live I uploaded the link and then react to the next song, if you can. Sorry guys but Band Maid is putting out albums faster than you are putting out Band-Maid reactions. You’ve got a couple dozen of awesome songs to get through. Time for Maid Mondays.
Time to return to this super cool band! they are all so talented and real when they play their instruments and we can’t wait to hear more of them! Which comes next? Let us know! 🙌😁🔥👍
Onset. It´s instrumental. Live video in their official channel. But beware... high risk of addiction, your life will never be the same.
ONSET for live and Warning as MV is an excellent choice and they are writing their own stuff, to be precise most of it is coming Kanami (lead guitar)
Don't You Tell Me, Take Me Higher. Onset
Freedom (Live)

I've never heard of this band before, thanks for turning me on to their music. 👍🙏👏🤘✌️

But they all speak more English than I speak Japanese...so good on all of them.
nice reaction. yeah they rock and make people smile. greetings from japan.
They wrote and produced their own album since 2016 (cmiiw)
For the next band-maid's song maybe you can try "real existance live" or "onset" 😁😁😁
Btw Thank you so much for the great reaction FSR..!!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
#WeAreWithBM #bandmaid #takeovertheworld
Music composed and arranged by the band. Main composer Kanami Tono, main lyricist Miku Kobato. Enough talent in that band to edit four BIG kick ass LPs in four years, Just Bring It (jan 2017), World Domination (feb 2018), Conqueror (dec 2019) and Unseen World (jan 2021).
All 4 play solos in Domination live and the lead singer has great crowd control.
Yup!! We’ve done it! 👍 -S
they write their own stuff. Kanami composes the music Miku does the lyrics Misa and Akane arrange the bass and drums. Oh and they call their own shots.

The first song they wrote for themselves was "Alone" back in 2016. Ever since then, they have written 100% of their own music and lyrics.
Damn! The longer I listened, the more I liked this. Ethan was right about the bass player...fantastic! Thanks for bringing new music to the forefront guys. Appreciate it.
Glad you enjoyed Mark! I think the bass for me is my favorite part of their songs. -S
If you like bass, you can try "I Still Seek Revenge" off their new album. Or if you want to hear a slapping bass solo, their live video for "Onset" on their channel is an instrumental that is quite incredible.
Yes...
they write their own stuff.

..as you have heard by now lol!!
Good video guys! You guys are the best people man.
Thanks man! Good to see ya here. We appreciate that very much 👍 -Ethan
They sure do write there own stuff. Kanami the lead guitar composes all the music and Miku the other guitar writes the lyrics.
Now THATS impressive!! Thanks for the info! -S
Thanks FSR!
MISA !!! MISA !!! MISA !!! the Barefoot Whiskey drinkin Bass Assassin , and the rest of the Band is Miku Kobato (aka ) Pigeon (Band founder , worked at maid café ) Rhythm guitar 2nd vocals n Lyrics , Kanami Tono Lead guitar / Shredder writes n arranges music , Akane Hirose (aka) Gorilla Drums , Saiki Atsumi (aka) Ice Queen Lead Vocals , Fan base are the Maidiac`s . Thanks for the nice reaction...
I have known the band for 5 years now. Everytime i listen to them, they blow my mind. Splendid !!!! And this daily :-)
The best hard rock bend from Japan - Band maid
The best metal bend from Japan - Lovebites
So, I strongly recommend to check out Lovebites.

your self's as Maidiacts. A MUST SEE is the song FREEDOM from this same concert. The drummer

“Onset” is the next logical progression for songs to react to. Then on from there for more from them
Band Maid is simply the best there is! Check out the Daydreaming MV next! 🎶🎸🥁🎸🎶🔥🙂
They write their own songs. They always had a knack for it but the first song that was theirs is Alone.
The horror! Please wish my brain luck! lol).

I'm not a fan of the audio mix on the MV or the video itself actually, but the song is very 60's 70's bluesy vibe. first time i heard it i immediately was thinking Hendrix, Cream and even Zep

Straying down some of their non-live Music Videos they release a few gems recently ( Manners, Warning and After Life)
Good evening from Germany. Just tuned in and wishing everybody a great day.

Hi Tiny Hat. If they are limiting themselves to live only then that's a pity. You know as well as i the amazing catalogue of songs they have :)
@@GaryHolloway-810 Haha yeah. :) Comments always (rightfully) hype up the live stuff so it makes sense they want those. They've seen Domination and now Play so they're halfway through the Holy Quadrilogy.
Onset Live. Instrumental. Any live video shows off their talent
Great react love the energy im now a sub. Band Maid will never let you down they have a catalogue of about 100 songs and not one bad song welcome to the Pigeon Hole which leads to the Unseen World where we maidiacs reside. Long Live the PO!
Thanks for the sub! 👍 -S
Take care! 🤘 -S
Lets try out their song Domination - Live feb 2020.
MISA!!! MISA!!!
Lol

Hey F&S, the Maidiacs are waiting patiently. ONSET-LIVE or FREEDOM-LIVE will keep you in our good graces. BAND-MAID is still AWESOME. Peace.

Guys, check also TRiDENT-Japan, all girls trio rock band songs Voltage, No Regret, Utopia, they are another Bandmaid in the making....
At first they had to do songs prewritten for them.. Once they got thru album three they write all their own stuff....
Greetings new Maidiacs.
*Saiki:* happiness
*Miku:* (there is no way out) (po!)
*Saiki:* anger
*Miku:* (It’s gonna be all right) (po!)
*Saiki:* sadness
*Miku:* (let go of your mind) (po!)
*Saiki:* Accept everything
*Saiki:* Take off
*Miku:* (there is no way out) (po!)
*Saiki:* Get on
*Miku:* (It’s gonna be all right) (po!)
*Saiki:* with life
*Miku:* (let blow your mind) (po!)
Is your Mind blown yet?
I don't know much by them but everything I've heard has just been really, really good and today was no exception. Thanks guys, that was really great👍🤘
Glad you enjoyed Steve! -S
Solstafir - Otta (live at A38)
They're a post-rock, black metal, experimental sort of group, and they are Icelandic.
Aside from a certain Aphex Twin music video, from my own experience. lol)
Igorrr is a French, avante-garde, boroque, rock, metal, electronic, (the works) kind of group.
Mind you, all of these will be DIFFERENT experiences from Band Maid. They aren't really traditional metal, or even rock, so if you do check any of these groups out, keep an open mind for a new, and different, experience. :)
But those are some off the top of my head.
I think from this list, I feel pretty good about you both enjoying Rammstein.
The rest? I'm not nearly as certain, but I enjoy them a lot, personally.
yes they write own stuff for a couple of years.
MISA MISA MISA about 30% of this song was in English
If you havent done....Ninjen isu ...heartless scat..... it is a must do.........japanese metal... good stuff

From JAPAN ■ Introducing BAND MAID and the latest news. (^^♪ ★ They have over 100 fascinating songs.
Thank you for Reaction BAND MAID. BAND MAID is a 5-member girls rock band. They are hard rock band and are now considered by fans to be one of the best hard rock bands in the world. They usually perform 23 songs and 2 hours live. They were formed in Japan in 2013 by side guitarist Miku Kobato. Kobato had experience working at a maid cafe in Akihabara Tokyo and had the idea of playing cool songs with a maid costume. That's why the band was named Band-Maid. "Thrill" was their first music video in 2014, played 2 million times in two weeks and saved them from breaking up. At that time they were just around 19-22 years old. And then they have been doing LIVE overseas and increasing their fans. Now they are writing, composing and arranging all the songs. 35 songs have been released on their official UA-cam, all of which are killer songs.
The new song "Different" released in December last year has become the theme song for the anime "Log Horizon 3rd Season".
BAND MAID's online full live December 13th. Full scale live is 2 hours. 23 songs are played and there is also their cute conversation. ★Ticket site: l-tike.zaiko.io/e/bandmaid1213 ★You can watch it with anyone at any time until March 13th, Japan time .They released a new album 14 songs "Unseen World" in January 20 .
★ On May 26th, they will release a DVD / Blu-ray of remastered online live 28 songs on February 11th + 5 other live songs. There are live performances of the latest 10 songs. ★ They released their latest music video "about Us" on February 19th.

Band-Maid is simply the best. But on the words, you just need to know your parts, which are:
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah (and they sing la la la la la la la)
You: Woah, woah, woah, woah (or lyrics pages say wow wow wow wow - but I prefer whoa) - followed of course by the aforementioned bevy of "la's"
Yep the good old "Yeah Whoa's". Classic Maidiac chant along :)

I don't know who writes their song, but I have learnt, that there is a school (or camp) in Japan, where people like these girls are trained to perform.

They write "talented rock maid band".
band-maid.up.seesaa.net/image/201320E6898BE4BD9CE3828AE38381E383A9E382B7_R-thumbnail2.jpg
"Maid in Japan" Released January 8, 2014
Single "愛と情熱のマタドール" Released August 13, 2014
track 2 "Thrill" track3 "Summer Drive"
youtube "Ai to Jounetsu no Matador"
And, as they sought the direction of the band, they chose a harder rock direction, and for that reason, the first MV was shot instead of the single "愛と情熱のマタドール" , "Thrill" was selected.
The MV for "Thrill" was officially uploaded in November 2014.
ua-cam.com/video/Uds7g3M-4lQ/v-deo.html&feature=emb_logo
However, the band is sluggish.

This is a video of BAND-MAID during the slump, performing an acoustic live (unavoidably) in a small event space instead of a live house. Miku says, "Please remember just the name."
Still, you can see how high everyone's playing skills are.

2015, spring to summer
Kanami and Akane participate in "もちとちーず".
Perhaps they are valued for their musical talent by their agency and asked to participate in "もちとちーず".
And KANAMI and AKANE temporarily belonged to both of those two bands.
Kanami is also composing there.

Suddenly, "THRILL" was a hit on the internet in April 2015, and the band has been energetically performing live throughout 2015, but without that "THRILL" hit,Kanami and Akane went to "もちとちーず" and BAND-MAID may have disappeared.

And
band-maid is planning their first solo concert at Nippon Budokan in February.
And now
Unfortunately, the concert at Nippon Budokan has been cancelled.
