I actually love the subtlety of this. I'd give it a 5. It's the kind of color shift that will make people wonder if they just saw what they think they saw, which I think would make this more interesting and intriguing.

Absolutely stunning shift. Not overly flashy like most, the subtleness is gorgeous!
yes it is quite subtile, one wouldn't really know it the car is just really well polished and it is the sky reflecting on the hood, or if there is something else.
I love the subtleness of this hyper-shift, sometimes subtle is the better way to go.
There are no words for how stunningly beautiful and subtle that is.

I actually love how not IN YOUR FACE the shift is, I'm the type to double take on the freeway if I see intense colors (admittedly) and the ending result of this is gorgeous! It's not that you can't even tell, you CAN, but seeing it in the different angles and watching the colors shift subtly was magnificent!

I love how the blue tones in the hypershift amplify the reflection of the sky. It's still not a bad dip at all.

I think you guys have some magic going on because most of the color combinations you choose are pretty darned awesome and sometimes rather trippy to the eyes, which is this one. This paint job is subtle enough to mess with peoples eyes. Now that's cool. I'll give it a 5.

I actually LOVE the finished look. I was expecting it to be bland the way you described it being subtle. I guess you meant it has just the right amount of subtlety. Its not in your face, but enough to make people look again.

I rate this a 5 it is IMO one of the most beautiful results I have seen on this channel. Certainly not one of the flashiest or dramatic but I think the subtlety of the shift is something that would make most people stop to take a longer look.

What an absolutely beautiful understatement!! The colors are so miniscule that it's almost like an optical illusion you glance across you think you see color and you glance again and then sometimes you'll see a different color than what you thought first I think it was a very good experiment with a very good turnout.

Might be the best application I have seen on your channel yet. Subtle color shift like this is something older less hard core car enthusiasts people like myself might go for. Makes me want to go buy an M3 just to paint it like yours.
I think of all the coatings I've seen on this channel, this one achieves the closest to the Photoshopped look of cars in sales brochures, but in real life. Amazing finish. Gorgeous.

5. This has to be one of the best color shifts I have ever seen mainly because of how subtle it is. This is more like a color you would see on high end luxury vehicles.

For personal preference, I'd have loved a blue / purple shift, but damn this is still too good to pass up, like you guys nailed it perfectly right here! Honestly tho, this may be one of my favourite ones because of the way it blends so subtly tho. This is easily a 6/5 for me 😍👌💙

Yooo this is soooo smooth the transitions of color are deadly, it’s not overly dramatic but just enough to see the effects of the pearls. Big fan of this one

Seen a lot of strikingly beautiful results, but this one, though not as eye catching as some, just might be my new favorite. Someone else used Classy, and I agree. I just really like this one.

A solid 5! I've never been a fan of teenager-inspired color shifting pearl. This subtlety is intriguing and deeply satisfying.
I love these challenge type hypershifts and such that sound skeptical but turns out amazing.
Honestly I'd let my car be a test subject to this kind of stuff but I have no experience doing it myself. Nor the money to buy the tools, let alone you guys to do it to my car.
Bro this is so nice. Subtle has its own power to it, it's like different types of singers. Power house singers amaze you, and then you get the opposite end of the spectrum with a soft singer that hits your soul with deep emotional impact.
For this, the subtelty is perfect! I wouldnt want an "in your face" shift. There's just enough shift to let you realize it, but the metallic silver still plays a huge role. I love it! I'd drive it for sure! 10/5
I actually like this one. It has a small shift in it enough to make u rebook at it but not enough to attract crazy attention. Giving this a BIG 5
Tub refinisher here. Lots of friends in the car paint biz. Very nice. Learned a while back that some tubs were done in pearl. Matched the color but could not match the sheen. Walked away after 7 days of trying. Found out later that some tubs were done in a pearl. Sure that was the issue.
5 all the way! It looks great! What you have actually created is what looks like a 3 color hyper shift. You get the green, the blue and the silver. It’s enough hyper shift to see the colors and still let the base through. It does what a hyper shift should do… make you ask what color is that car? Great job!
I really like the subtlety of this. I know it doesn't really show up as expected, but I like that it is VERY subtle. I would not want to draw attention to myself.
I love this! 😍 While I would have preferred a blue (or a blue-green like turquoise or aqua) to purple shift for my personal color preference, this subtle shift is perfect. Almost like the dip version of "all business in the front, party in the back." 😂👍

Excellent job, 5+ because like everyone has said it’s the subtlety of the shift that makes it special. You almost only it see in the shadow or where a body line is on a slope that angle away from you !

4.5 The more subtle shifts are better to me. The hyper shifts are too over the top for my liking, especially when there's more than two color change.
I would love to see other subtle shifts like two reds, two blues, or red to orange.

This might be one of my favorites just *because* it's so understated. Some of the hypershifts just beat you over the head with the different colours.
I'm curious how this stuff would sit over OEM paint -- I have a red car that looks great, but there was a red-to-black colourshift video that you posted a while ago that's definitely got me thinking.
10 months after the fact, but I have to say how beautiful this is. I immediately thought of this classic old Jaguar (late 1930's to mid 1940's) that my friend's mum had. This would have been spectacular on that huge beast of a vehicle! It's magical, without being flashy, and that would have been much nicer than the funerary black that it was painted.
I totally love it! I like the mint green coming through then the lavender purple in the background , it's so pretty. 🤩

A yellow to orange would have been a solid 5 based on my personal preference.
I make hyper colorshift watercolor paint for my small business. I also paint with hyper colorshift paint…you have to paint it over black to get the best and full color spectrum of that paint…ESPECIALLY with the ghost pigments, which is what you used in this paint.
I agree that the subtle shift from the silver is a much nicer classy look. Im not a shift paint guy until this paint job. I mean shift paint is an awesome thing to see on someone else's car but i could rock this paint myself. 5 all the way

I love bmw sedans because of their subtlety. They look like a regular car but are actually so much more. This paint job embodies that concept entirely.
all in all. rather nice. its much more subtle than most would hope for. but gotta love a good detail that makes people wanna look closer and this is indefinably it. looks better than straight silver for sure. so 4 out of 5. Might look even better in darker settings such as down town. Perhaps the next attempt should be a bolder color? like green yellow red or orange colors that pop when they shine
I love the broad wavelengths from blue on horizontal surfaces to green on the vertical... So dope. Would love to see this in full spectrum on a cream white just see if it would look like a genuine pearl ... Seems like it would.
This is probably the first and only I could see myself driving around daily. Tastefully done and subtle. The others a dope, but while they’re screaming “hey look at me”, this one is whispering “I see you over there looking at me ;)”
5, love it. It turned out beautiful and I think it has a chrome look to it without being gawdy.
I have seen a new Corvette in my area that is so close to the Chrome to Color Shift, I am wondering how they did it. It's super bright silver, with a teal blue to pink color shift. It's very over the top, and I think it looks like an enormous fishing lure. Then again most color shift paints I think would be very attractive to fish.
I'm new to the channel and haven't watched too many of your videos yet so I don't know if this has been done already. How about painting the M3 with a deep cherry red or deep crimson red base coat and spraying the ZGA hypershift pearls over the top? I'd imagine it to have a nice crimson red with green and blue highlights. That would look awesome!!! I hope to see this in a future video. Love watching what you do with all the different pigments and color combos!

i guess the color shift i love most on such special paint jobs really is blue/green … or green/violet 😂 … but this silver with a subtle turn into blue also looks fantastic :D
