How Is this even humanly possible? I've heard about some extremely skilled veteran pilots loose their lives because of lack of altitude. Definitely one of the best videos I've seen
awesome! i'm trying to unterstand how to perform a lomecevak on a rc place, but there's something i don't understand: neil williams explains that the lomecevak is started with full left rudder on a plane having the prop turning anti clockwise seen from the pilot. if i'm right, the prop of an extra is turning clockwise, so one should start a lomecevak with right rudder. but in the video, peter besenyei starts all lomecevak with left rudder. can someone help me to unterstand?
it really doesnt matter what direction the prop is turning. the important thing is having enough through in your rudder to get the plane sideways then full down elev. and full left or right rudder and full throttle. the prop torque doesnt really effect a crank shaft maneuver.
What’s the name of this manoeuvre @ 7:00 ? (Plane flying pitch up, wings at approx 45 degree tilt, often performed close to the ground, seemingly just above stall speed - I’d imagine hard on the throttle - image used for thumbnail also). Thanks so much what an amazing video, and amazing pilot/ground crew! Thank you for sharing this.
That's not flying. That's beyond flying. That's... hell, I don't know what it is. Sky dancing, might be close to what that is. Yeah, 6:50 was shocking. I thought it was going to touch. Some of those maneuvers don't even have a name, they're so convoluted and mixed up.
Aerobatics derived from dog fighting! It was to learn your planes limits to out fly your opponent. Learning gyroscopic maneuvering gave you an advantage because you could roll faster with the aid of rudder and torque to turn away quicker. Many early aerobatic competitions were flown in war time trainers.
I know nothing about flying etc, so I have some questions. How hard is it? Can any "normal" pilot just jump in and do this kind of stuff? How long have they trained for stuff like this.
+Glenn Johan Flying isn't hard in general. It's like any new thing that you may try to do, it just takes practice. A "normal" pilot would be able to do barrel rolls and simple stuff like that, but not tumbles the slip close to the ground, or any flatspins/inverted stalls. As for training, it all depends on the pilot. Some people are naturally talented and some take years of training.
and if any of you are curious about how most of these high energy tumbling maneuvers were invented you should watch an rc pilot named jase dussia. he is a 18 year old who has been flying since he was six imo he is the best rc pilot in the world. without rc pilots like that kid aerobatic pilots would still just be doing cuban eights rolls and loops. rc has had a huge impact and influence on actual aerobatic flying.
Walking to the store? Nah, I fly it and stall it over the roof and land, where I come in from the top and grab my groceries, and tie them to a rope and fly away with the groceries flying behind.
Thanks a lot for this upload, it's fantastic. Isn't 8:11 a bit dangerous (wing end at less than one meter from the ground), even for such a world-class pilot?
Yeah it’s dangerous. Often happens accidents. Here in Germany Happened one of the biggest accidents in history it was 1988 in Rammstein. You can see videos on it on UA-cam. The pilots which were do the accident were one of the best pilots of show flight. Many people died and the Videos of the accident is very shocking
The tumbling part had some moments where the wing almost touched the grass. Those moments are good luck and fewer skills. The master flew at high risk to do the show. Well, that's my point of view.
Too bad this plane doesn't have any rudder authority. That low pass goofing around at the end was insane, wonder if he's ever done the drunk pilot wandering onto the field and stealing the aircraft routine...his would be SPECTACULAR.
It's always nice to take a look at the aerobatic flight of a legend! ;)
Thumbs up!
Incredible piloting. Thanks for the upload!
Finally! Good air show footage that wasn't filmed by an epileptic cameraman
Un super pilote que j'avais rencontré lors des championnats du monde à Yverdon en Suisse dans les années 90 , respect pour ses compétences !
great camera work. Funky flying from Pete. He knows what time it is. Sharp as a tack👌👍
büszkeségünk Besenyei Péter 😘❤❤❤❤❤
How Is this even humanly possible? I've heard about some extremely skilled veteran pilots loose their lives because of lack of altitude. Definitely one of the best videos I've seen
Besenyei péter a világ legjobb pilótája THE BEST FLYMAN!!!!!!
Flying beyond aerodynamics! Awesome.
amazing pilot and plane, awesome!! what a great job!!
Best performance i have ever seen
My favourite is still this one: ua-cam.com/video/zz5AcbaJzLo/v-deo.html
What can Peter Besenyei do with an airplane?
Anything he wants!
Thx,!👍
I love that tumble maneuver. Apparently, so does Peter :).
Look at that hang time @ 5:15 ! Awesome flying!
Cool and beautiful maneuver :-bd
Wow excellent pilot. Incredible what they can do and achieve.
Just terrific
Grande Peter Besenyei fantastico!!
Around 1:06 looked like he was going into an inverted flat spin... That's one fine looking badass machine
Офигенно летает один из лучших ✈️👍
that take off!
Excellent
Your true legend sir
great !
Freakin' sensational flying .... never seen that level of skill before.... just hope he can continue to defy the laws of physics and stay alive.
Фантастика!
Peter BRAVO!!!
!!!!BRAVO!!!!BRAVO!!!!! This man knows his stuff...Awesome use of the rudder and low flying aerobatics...
So cool.
Godfather of Air Race
Chapeau l'artiste! Belle performance!
Exactement ce que je me disais ! Un artiste de l’air ! Incroyable !
The legend of the Greatest the King of the air
Allo Peter all the best for you you are almost perfect from Carlos Portugal
6:50 is what you came here for ;)
Love the knife-edge fly by.
side-slip
He's one engine cough away from being a smoldering hole in the ground. Too dangerous of a maneuver.
Looks amazing but the things he does are really risky..
Wow! I am mesmerized!
красиво !
One of best low level knife-edge moves I have seen!
This is Freedom😍
Very scale like flying. Loved it.
falconeaterf15 its a real plane, just forminformation
Ein Jan
Well I guess that explains it! Hehe.
Hahaha great 😂
Хорош дядька, просто хорош
The wing walker declined to participate on this flight.
what is the maximum G he takes during the aerobaticas, anyone have an answer?
The pilot: What directions can you pull us?
The propeller: Yes.
cfi: u need altitude for spin recovery..
this guy: *_hold my beer in every direction_*
This Guy Flirts with Ground so hard also Declines to be kissed be kissed by it.🖤❤️🖤

Very clean and tight negative G loop at 1:03.

mendarat sukses selalu lanjut mantap semangat good
Und das mit dem gerät hinzubekommen und nur seinen Hirn zu haben ohne jegliche Hilfsmittel ist eine krasse Leistung bei dem schwierigkeitsgrad
Keren,
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
My goodness
trying to dogfight this man would be hard....
+Marcin Wiatr Not really, the frame would rip apart easily and it's not very fast top speed.
I think he's speaking about his flying skills not the airplane
He'd out turn you in a heart beat
A lot of what Aerobatic pilots do in displays would get them killed in a dogfight.

Ах, дайте-ж, дате самолёт

Nagyon profi a csávó még így 50+ évesen is 👍🛩️🇭🇺
now, i am wondering if FW190 can roll as fast as this plane? or 190 even has faster roll rate?

Hola
It's NOT an E-300SR, it is a two seater E-330L ... :)
Tibor Kókai it's a edge 540
Russell Klassen it is a Corvus Racer 540
dang that rudder tho
5:15 - 5:18 Physics? Didn't hear about it =)
Крепкий самолетик...
How many hours of flight does he have? He must be flying more than walking.
Walking to the store? Nah, I fly it and stall it over the roof and land, where I come in from the top and grab my groceries, and tie them to a rope and fly away with the groceries flying behind.
Наша!!!!! Русская красавица!!!
Какая красавица ?!

porpentosa don t worry he can even touch the soil.. I saw it.

Even i can't do that in FSX.
I haven't seen moves like this since Loudenslager.
Baaarrrf!!
7:00 that knive edge, verry nice
Slug Life it´s a sideslip ;)
michi386 cool name for that
You're watching the Grandfather of the Red Bull Races
i miss him :'(
Kirby Chambliss is also good. I could sit and watch him fly for hours
What company is making this airplane?
+tstrrtstrr
EXTRA Flugzeugbau (Germany)
+tstrrtstrr

Walter Extra designed it. It's called an Extra 300.
Just wait until he sneezes

Red bull indeed gives you wings
Как?!?!!?
bro i thought he was gonna go into a flat spin
the dude drifts just after take off...sugoi!
Wtf @ 8:00 min. Crank
The pilot pulled about 8 g's in that stall..
Contre Lounes el himar of the Algerian air force
i almost made it it

Well, that's my point of view.
I think he is an Alien pilot on human skin
stary ale wariat. Co za kosiaki!
- plans dont fly like this....
- .......
I thought I have a bad screen.
The airforces of the world talk so proudly of thrust vectoring, these pilots make Pugachev’s Cobra look childish.
Too bad this plane doesn't have any rudder authority. That low pass goofing around at the end was insane, wonder if he's ever done the drunk pilot wandering onto the field and stealing the aircraft routine...his would be SPECTACULAR.
