Wahs are funny little things. Like in here, the DIY sounds good, but the original sounds better. Just like my experience on trying to clone old wahs. When you adjust basically everything electronically as close as humanly possible it’s like almost, but just not good enough. Same applies to all the high end boutique high dollar clones, like i give B for effort but still only ’pretty close’.
As some one below said,The original Sounds More open, The Copy is like somebody saying run And holding a leash on em Its just kinda close down
Great wah pedals. Your DIY build sounds identical. Would you mind sharing what the specs are? Q Resistor? Mid Resistor? Transistors used?
I like the original better. Sounds more open. But they are close.

how I can eliminate the ssh noise www.electrosmash.com/vox-v847-analysis using the AC/DC adapter
in the wha 847?It increases with other effects as distortion and others in the chain.
It is possible put 1000 pF ceramic capacitor filter between the power positive input of adapter and the
mass (negative) of the pedal?
I provided that stabilized power supply and the rest is good.
I'll wait your valid suggestion with a schematic diagram.

What halo inductor did you use on your DIY? Large hole or small hole?
Close, the Original is sweeter sounding and warmer.
Because it's after the cloned wah: if it's a "true" clone is not true bypass, so it loads down the signal that the vintage wah sees, just like turning the tone knob on the guitar down a little...

ありがとうございます。
この自作ワウは、抵抗の種類(フィルムやコンポジ)やサイズのバリエーション(1/4wや1/2w)によるそれぞれの特性の違い(マイルドだったり、スッキリだったり、芳醇だったり、透き通っていたり)を利用し、組み合わせを色々テストして抵抗からトーンをチューニングしました。また使用したインダクターとキャパシタ、ポットとのバランスを考慮していくつかの定数はオリジナルから独自の物へと変更しています。その結果、例えば3弦を下方向にハンドビブラートさせて、遅れ気味でワウを踏み込むと『クンニャア～』とした柔らかくも粘つくように裏返るニュアンスが出るようになったかなと思います。

全て実地というか、今まで使ってきたパーツの特徴を把握しておいて、それを適材適所で乗せては音出しの繰り返しです(>_
いや～エフェクターは正にそれが大変なんですよね。おみそれしました。日本で（世界？）最もジミに近いトーンと思いました。ていうか、下の外人さんたちも同じだと思います。買いたいという人もいますね。
