Clearly the best camerawork for this piece I have found. The visual direction was always featuring the proper soloists and other players unlike any other production on UA-cam. Kudos to the aural and the visual producers! Great playing, also.
Amazing performance and filming! Fabulous playing by all sections on such a demanding piece. So nice to see so many talented musicians from so many orchestras coming together to bring this piece to life.
An absolutely beautiful piece of music. Also, they did a *really* good job filming this. You notice things you couldn't notice otherwise unless you had the conductor's score in front of you (the three flutes trading off, the clarinets trading off, the quiet but accurate movement in the winds/strings, while the strings/winds take the melody...)
Yes!!!!! Jessica Philips! Love the Eb clarinet 2:14
Extremely difficult and technical but in the end, with all parts mastered, beauty is created through music
Stunning performance. Ravel: the entire spectrum of orchestral colouring, and then some! Loved it.

Well said. It’s rare the video editor knows the score as well as the musicians

Sumptuous performance. Beautiful blending of the orchestra's tonal colors. I would LOVE to hear this ensemble perform the entire work with chorus.
I neglected to mention the superb audio engineering! One of the most sonically transparent recordings of this suite I've heard.
such a gorgeous piece, and wonderful playing/filming here!
