I can reach it if the previous note is near (C and higher). Otherwise, half the time, I produce some kind of disaster 🤣

Such a great performance, I cannot estimate the complexity to play and on top to memorize such a complicated piece of music... Bravo! Playing Clarinet myself for 35 years (amateur), still would not have imagined this... :) All the best!
What so insane about this is that there are no notes that were played wrong, articulated wrong, didn't come out easily, it's all smooth without one mistake.
Check out Carmen Fantasy Mate Bekavac (clarinet), thats insane, and then compare it to this video, this man plays really good, but just take a listen...
Yes, Mate is absolutely OUTstanding... with him playing you forget that a clarinet is playing... This version here is all over beautifuly, elegantly played. Sorry for bad english... All the best
he was definitely pushing the limits of the clarinet. Bekavac is insanely talented, however I much prefer this interpretation. Even though Mate pulls off the techniques with mastery, it still gets a bit overwhelming at a couple points and you can tell it's taking a huge effort on his part. Kind of like a "he was so focused on whether or not he could he forgot to ask whether he should" type deal. this interpretation still has ridiculously difficult passages, but he makes it sound effortless and extremely clean and natural. simply perfect.
I prefer this one over mates one cause i think that there is to much, if you make a gliss one time its quite fun and cool but i feel like they are covering the melody, obviusly his technical skills are incredible
