Yea as a beginner coming into tattoos, it Gives me a good visual idea about how deep the needle was to get the job done and how many times you could pass over a line because in my mind I use to think you should make only one pass to make a line and that it should be perfect and solid my first stroke (in reality it is better If it plays out like that) but that's not always the case and it's alright to go over a line again to make sure it's crisp.
I ended up here while looking for a video to show my 4-year-old how tattoos are done. She said, “When I’m an adult I can do that.” I told her, “Only if you truly want to.” She said she does.
I really love his description because not only he put down the number needles but also how many volt he uses unlike other tattoo artist not telling us that assuming we know exactly how it’s done.
Each machine and artist use different voltage , it also depends on the style . I have seen dudes work coil machines with 14volt, not saying you should . Me personally I try not to go above 9 cause it will just tear up your skin.
@@cameron9091 those 10minutes are 15 years of experience, also tattoos are art on your body, thats a luxury that has its price. Each artist charges differently.
"Great video! I'm just starting to learn about tattooing and this tutorial was incredibly helpful. The tips on design principles and color theory were especially useful. I'm looking forward to practicing what I've learned and improving my skills. Keep up the fantastic work
You double line a lot of your lines, if not all. I've always been told to shoot for one pass lines, but I never have been able to get them good and bold without a second pass. Is that something you do on every piece or is it just because you're using red?
I'm a beginner and done all my art on fake skin with 3 and 5s and it's definitely a learning process. I've done made 10 hours worth of work so u think I should move up to higher needles for now and that would improve my art for the time being?
Why not red wash some of the wings bro?? nice work , but how can u travel up like that when lining... Very suprised there was no shot out. But keep up the good work my friend.
I do powder bro tattoos and have been intrigued how how similar but also how different steps are between the process I am so curious what you used to clean then after and before the tattoo stencil! so many questions :)
Im your silent viewer and subscriber also...but this video got me..idk y i love butterfly specially red color😅😅 thank you for all your videos Sir..i like it👍
I just starting messing around with tattooing recently. Only fake skin so far but I noticed with 1rl any small shake is more visible. I understand what you mean I have an easier time using something like a 5rl
You show it how it is and dont edit out the important stuff. Loving your videos. I have the Fold Pro on the way, That will be my first wireless machine. Been using coils for about 5 years. I hope i like it!
Недавно делала подобную бабочку. Контур 5RL делала. Края крыльев сначала законтурила, а потом толстенькие места закрасила RSкой, не помню уже какой. Лайнером не получается закрашивать((
You can saturate with whatever you're comfortable with smaller needles can cause more trauma during the tattooing process but you'll get it with the comfortable speed you feel best with running so my opinion you can use whatever you want just be mindful of how much you actually work the skin
I usually wipe away the stencil as much as I can while still being able to see it before outlining something in a color to avoid that discolored edge that the purple can leave.
Depends on what you lay the pattern with deodorant takes longer than stencil stuff but you always want to dab the pattern once you get it on helps dry faster but usually takes less than a minute to dry to a good starting point....
Great timing with this video cause im gonna do this sunday my first tat on a friend of mine with red ink..3 music notes, all an inch big. Wish me luck! 😁 and a nice butterfly man, really smooth! 🤘🏻
Hey men, amazing work, 1st time watching your video, and you make great work men, iam just starting with my own tattoing time. Really appriciate real time videos couse I learn so much from you, thanks from Czech republic
Yes it does. Which is why it's important to use tattoo stencil paper and not just go at it with a sharpie or something. Also your stencil paper needs to stay sterile.
That really depends on your gun type and power supply but I use a 3.5 stroke pen style at 7.5 to 8 volts for lining and 6.5 to 7 for shading .. I recommend using a 5round shader for lining it will leave smoother lines then the liner 😉

My kid was interested in how tattoos are done. This was the perfect vid for him. He knows what he wants his first tat to be. He’s 6.
Then you are a great parent for showing him, explaining what it is, and supporting him! Love to see it, Cheers!
