It shows technically that Agent 8 is also going to be accepted in the Inkling society,just like Marina.And who knows? Maybe one day,all this foolish hatred that exists between the inklings and the octarians will vanish forever,making them live all together in equality,just like all the rest of the humanoid aquatic species that exist in the Splatoon universe do.That's an amazing job u did there. Really nice animation! It's great to see the Splatoon 2 community expanding on the ending of the Octo Expansion. Although it was clunky at a few times, but hey, what can you do, SFM is like that. I understand the usage of SFM over other, more advanced and tougher animation software like Blender because it's one of the easier animation programs to use and learn. Still gets the point across with some bonding between Agent 3 and Agent 8, and leaves room for more imagination. Perhaps in the future you would create more animations about Splatoon 2 should there be more Expansions? And I also hope you are able to, in the future, a few years or so from now, use a more quality geared animation program, if that's even possible of course.

To be honest, i did not thought that this Animation ist going to be so popular in such short amount of time.. i didnt put much effort into this one (Finger anims, clipping etc), quess i'll make a remaster of this one! And yes, there will be more Animation regarding Agent 8 and her adventures in her new life. Im learning Blender and 3ds max, but SFM is more intuitive to animating things (ofc, because it only can do animations, not modelling) Just a reminder to everyone: Animating is hard, every move has to be made by hand, frame by frame corrected, lights need to be set-up, models have to be ported over to source engine.. Understand that there is no real Agent 8 model at this time, nor the real helicopter from the game.
Jellyfishes, since they're so short compared to cephalopods and their skinny arms would make them hard to see during that brief scene right there. Don't question them, they know what they're doing.
ThatKnucklesFan Because Marina and Pearl were never in the Deepsea Metro Station, they were only able to communicate through Captain Cuttlefish's radio and Agent 8's CQ-80 within the chat logs. So they were on the surface the entire time, plus, with their popularity and all, I'm sure one of them just have to call up some normal Jellyfish pilots and they'd gladly help them two at flying them wherever they needed to go and when.
Aww aren’t they cute But honestly great job man! I’ve never seen anything like it before! The whole helicopter in the sky thing and the cameras close and focused on the characters really gave that cozy feeling, especially with the lights from the windows! Makes me wanna go back to animating again...
I cannot describe in a single comment how much this animation has healed me over the years and cemented this song as my favorite in the series. This animation showed up when I was 14. My parents had gotten divorced and my cat had just died. As I was snuggled into bed one night, struggling with the weight of everything, snuggling my stuffed dog, Marina, I listened to this song and cried at the friendship between these two. This song is so full of hope. This animation reminded me, if only for a second, that I’m not alone. Feelings are temporary and everything will be okay in the end. Thank you so much for making this!
I really liked this animation. You did a great job on it, and you also showed a more deeper side to the Inner Agent 3 fight. It was a PTSD situation for Agent 8, and you captured that perfectly, instead of Agent 3 as some embodiment of hell. XD for real tho the battle was hard but I couldn't hate Agent 3
Amazing work. The interactions between agent 3 and 8 were spot on and the emotional potrayal and emphasis were as well. The video itself was perfect, the only thing I noticed was that Agent 3 was wearing the new headphones and not the headset from the original game. This has absolutely nothing to do with the quality of the video, just wanted to point that out.
LUVED THIS! Agent 8 is clearly scared of going to Inkopolis. Octolings have a very bad history with the Inklings. She cant remember her past but her future is right in front of her. Marina and Agent 8 are proof that Octolings arent all evil they do have feelings and care for each other. 8 saved Inkopolis for godsakes! Shes not a monster! Shes a hero! Has she made mistakes in the past with Agent 3 of course but thats in the past and this is her moving on and accepting her new life in Inkopolis!

This is one of the better SFMs I've seen. And I've seen alot Like, the lighting, the camera angles, the way the characters move, act, all that stuff, makes it feel like something actually filmed by and with professionals. You should submit this for the Saxxys I mean, sometimes things didn't really register with other things physics wise, but it's so subtle it doesn't matter
That's not a valve universe film. Saxxy awards entries should be about something that is valve related. Like TF2, half-life 2, counter-strike, dota 2 or left 4 dead! But I think most Splatoon SFM animators don't want to do that since SFM is all about Splatoon. Same goes to FNAF SFM fans since all FNAF fans think SFM is all about FNAF! (Like "Source FNAFMaker")

This is pure masterpiece. Well made scenes, fluid animations, and the expressions are perfect. The use of Pearl's voice for me is a bit too hasty(in terms of speed) and is a bit off, but overall: Kudos.
Just imagine. You're an Octoling, and you go through everything 8 did. When you finally breached through to the surface, and defeated TARTAR and NILS, imagine all the stress that just melts away.

Wow the quality of the animation is so smooth and clear,and the scenario are really nice: agent 8 still embarassed by her combat against the octolings and inner agent 3 and agent 3 try to help her to forget this and help agent 8 to enjoy her new life in inkopolis, the story is so emotional,that already make my self crying ;_; (i'm not joking)
