bayle is stronger than placidu by th point we meet him. Theyboth fought in the past till a stalemate, bayle lost his wings and a leg, placidu lost 2 wings and 2 heads dude had to hide in a time chanber to survive after, while bayle leaves to be this broken overleved creature. If they both fight again, placidu woul be fucking done.

@@kollen5952I doubt plasidusax would lose, he still has the red lightning and is in somwwhat better shape than bayle. Also bayle got much worse injuries and fled after starting the fight.
NPCs that get summoned INSIDE the boss arena do NOT affect boss’ HP scaling. Igon isnt making this harder for anyone.
@tileux Elden Ring is the first souls game I've ever played in my life and I'm not a single player gamer in general, but I beat Bayle without Igon after 150+ tries and I'm not a master player either. And every streamer I've seen also beat without Igon.
@tileuxpretty sure it's possible to beat any bosses at RL1 on NG+7 hitless, that's the point of these games

I would have loved to see a cutscene of that battle like we got with Reidon and Melania’s fight. But I am glad that they gave enough details to imagine it.
My man Igon is the goat and makes this fight more memorable
bayle is actually the father of all drakes and had a huge brawl with placi, thats why hes so beat up and can in fact see 2 of placi's heads still biting down on bayle's neck. placidusax actually created dragon communion as a way for people to challenge bayle in the hopes that eventually a drake warrior would be able to kill the dread dragon.

fyi, phantoms only buff the boss if they are summoned outside the arena (it has to do with the game engine).
The fact that base game Placidusax has a close fight with dlc scaled Bayle’s fat ass when you pit them against each other is impressive as hell

But it's not though. Baylr is an old dragon that challenged Placidusax and lost after they injured eachother. Dragon communion didn't yet exist and even then communion partakers become magma wyrms rather than proper dragons.

She played the entire DLC on UA-cam live streams. She is currently playing it for a second or third time again on UA-cam live streams

Man... these lore takes are really bad lol. Bayle is almost definitely not a person as Dragon Communion wasn't even a thing back then. Dragon Communion is a form of punishment by Placidusax on Bayle's bloodline for his betrayal. Placidusax harnesses human's wrecklessness when they are young and promises them power by consuming drake hearts.
This is why Igon says that thing about remembering when you were young and fearless etc. And why he himself laments that he's full of fear.
She literally just plays while searching on lore in game without looking up any in the wiki or UA-cam.

Also, when Igon goes on a rant when he says that "fear is foreign to ye", he was talking to himself. He even says "Igon, Piteous Igon, do you not remember?" He trying to hype himself up so he could face Bayle.
@@Hop3. "These lore takes are so bad" Her lore theory of him being human is fine considering at the time of this playthrough she missed the priestess entirely and didn't know about the npc til later on thus not having spoken too them.
I still stand by a lot of what I initially thought, especially once I got the information from his heart.
The heart will one day 'take over' its host and Bayle will return again. So even if the current Bayle we face isn't human, if we use the heart, it will be true one day!
Also, the unique mention of the heart being bi-atrial. They do not say such things lightly in lore descriptions.
I like talking lore while playing, and being wrong is also a part of the experience. But this time, I don't think I was
