I moved to Weston in 2016 , bought my own place and have worked in local industry since. I am from Scotland and agree that WSM is anything but dead . Great cafés , cinemas and shopping .The pubs could be better, but the Brit Bar does great live music and is a testament to a thriving local music scene. In the summer months, the place welcomes thousands of guests from Birmingham .Brummies are the salt of the earth and i like the working class ethos of work hard- play hard. 😊
Lovely Wayne..spent many hours on the Weston sands and the pier growing up in the 60s and 70s...great memories and there are some nice walks in and around the seafront. Would love to be there now having a nice walk..really miss the sea.
Not been back to Weston-Super-Mare since I was at the college in 1977. Used to get the coach from home in Nailsea. Always remember the long line of coaches parked up along the promenade going home of an evening. Ours was always the furthest away.

Glad to see you made a positive video on Weston as there are far too many negative ones, I have to point out the headland on the left that you pointed out is Brean Down not flat Holm, Flat Holm is three miles out from Steap Holm, I have to be honest I did think the same as a kid.
