Not only are they the most influential faction of the last 15 years in North American wrestling(only the bloodline is even really close imo) they were also just really good, even in a time we’re wwe was at a relative creative low.
That’s because all 3 members were main event material even back then the WWE management saw their potential especially Triple H at least for Seth and Roman Roman was their first choice but when he wasn’t getting over with fans before WM31 Seth was given the go ahead for the cash in and cemented his spot in the main event Roman of course now is in his legendary part of his career as for Dean he admitted himself in a talk is Jericho years ago that the WWE system isn’t for him and how he was treated on the way out made it where he would never come back and he has AEW now and has been a world champion there so yeah all 3 did reach their potential in under 10 years
actually, the Bloodline is nowhere close to the Shield. Sikoa has no character, the usos are mid-card at best and Reigns is a wimpy coward. As for the Shield, they never shied away from competition, all 3 could speak for themselves and didn't rely on constant interference to score the W and all could handle the main-event@@mitchellima7548
I'm certain The Hurt Business kept breaking up so that Bobby Lashley couldn't get too big and overshadow Roman Reigns. It also ties in to Lashley never being allowed to get back the title he never lost, and the two never being onscreen for similar shows. So each time Lashley and the Street Profits spin their wheels for another week, it's just more of the same.
Why don't we talk more about the unknown assailant of The Magnificent Seven in regards to wrestling's unsolved mysteries and less about who raised the briefcase, since we actually know who did that one (Big Boss Man)?
1.The League of Nations AND The Un-Americans both lacked a Charismatic KINGPIN to put them over the top 2. All the Great Stables in Wrestling have to have an undeniable CHEMISTRY about three of the entries on your list Didn't have that. Everyone in a wrestling stable has a ROLE than fans can identify with.
They should have revealed it being Sting who was attacking The Magnificent Seven, which would have worked into having Sting vs Flair on the Final Nitro
Cosmic Wasteland would've worked great if #1 Stardust was treated the right way and #2 If Ascension hadn't directly compared themselves to The Road Warriors in a promo shortly after their main roater debut.
Judgement Day with Edge as leader was cut way, way too short. We needed a proper Edge heel run in his comeback run so it was a shame they took him out of JD so soon into it.
I'm a bit surprised the Cabinet wasn't here. If you take away the useless chick, you have WWE, Tag Team, and U.S. Title Reigns at different times as a faction
Always come to these lists hoping for a UNION reference. I loved the rag tag group of Big Show, Ken Shamrock, Mick Foley and Test and wished they had been given more time to develop into something bigger.
Actually the PG Era Hart Foundation takes a bigger beating than the 1997 iteration. The late 2000s and early 2010s was some of the worst years for WWE 😢
If you watch the Magnificent Seven era WCW creatively was on the up. There were some shortfalls (it was WCW afterall) but the overarching creative was solid, with Steiner taking out most of the top faces (except Goldberg, that was a Russo hangover no one had a work round for) building up to either a big return for them all or a star making moment for the guy to finally beat him. Sadly the creative of the Russo era was atrocious and it seemed that that's what was presented to Turner execs when they enquired where all the money was going. I don't know if the company would have been competitive again but they would at least have looked respectable. Although with all the fans they ran off they may still have struggled.
@@mattalan6618 My thoughts exactly. They sounded like the names of generic bad guys in an 80s beat em up video game. Seriously, is this WWE or Bad Dudes for NES?
They lacked starpower and a proper leader probably. The story was weird as well because they were like against the system but they asked for contracts...
I was looking forward to the League of Nations, and then Del Rio joined the group. Lost all interest immediately. Plus, they were only so Roman could have someone to beat up.
League of Nations was great. Although seeing sheamus, a guy wearing Celtic crosses and loach on his attire, team with Barrett, an English guy, was always weird.
Is 'Underrated Wrestling Faction Day' today? Both you guys and Wrestle with Andy posted a video on it today. But a shout out to the Dogs of War, I guess, it was just another throw together group to try and get Roman over at the time, but it's a shame such a great faction name went wasted on something that lasted so little.
