Yeah, the second battle where most of it came down to sleep outs very close from one another it always went in favor of the one ripped last. It may still result in the same winner if done the other way, but the impression of fairness would be higher.
When I read "illegal beyblades" in the title, I thought of the shit I did as a child with my beyblade. Basically I just installed box cutter blades to it. I don't know how I still have 2 working eyes and 10 fingers, but even now I can barely comprehend just how fucking dangerous that was. a loose blade shooting out due to centrifugal forces going god knows where or just like accidentally touching the thing while spinning etc. It was such an insane thing to do.
I find the moment he said “I didn’t expect to be playing with these at the age of 25” I play with them to destroy kids souls by obliterating the core of their bey with my own. The look in a child’s eye as they stare at their broken emblem having never considered it possible that beys can be built different sometimes and will murder other beys. Pure gold
Fun fact: you can make a substance known as heavy water with the chemical equation D2O, and the beyblade at 1:14, in my humble opinion, should be called D2 Aquario
I'm 36, never played with Beyblades, but this video came up on recommended and I watched it entirely. This is probably on my recommended because I've been saying Beyblades since about two weeks ago when Deep Rock Galactic shown off a new grenade weapon for the Driller that reminded me of Beyblades (as someone who has never played with them) and I'm excited to let it rip when they add them in. So yeah, keep enjoying Beyblades no matter how old you get, seems like a fun hobby.
It’s fine that you’re still playing with Beyblades at 21. I’m 2 years older than you and I play with them. They’re actually my stress relief for when I’m having a crummy day. 😊
I have an interesting combo: Facebolt: Metal Energy ring: Orion Fusion Wheel: Duo (balance mode) Spin track: E230 (low mode) Performance tip: EWD Challenge: you must use an attack type without using the Flash Fusion Wheel and spin track cannot be higher than 125
I have a pretty cool combo for you to try: Flash Orion W145MF, main purpose is to win by knockout against stamina types that could win against this bey on a stamina battle and on stamina (tornado staller) against beyblades that can’t get knocked out of the stadium from this bey
Personally, I think this would be a bit more interesting if you had some pre-made combos and weren't basically making custom counter picks to things your fans send in. In a Beyblade battle, you don't look at your opponent's Beyblade and then make yours after all. Edit: I mean as a separate series.
@@toybonniesfm Yeah, I know he does, but this just feels kind of weird. If, let's say, a Yu-Gi-Oh UA-camr did a series where he would battle people from the comments, but only if they told him their entire deck before he even makes his, and then talks about people rarely beating him, people would call him out on it. He can make a good Beyblade look bad by putting it up against a counter, which isn't cool.
@@toybonniesfm The funny thing is that he actually has started announcing his combo so others can list combos to be his, and in the second video where we know they were randomly selected, he lost twice, and probably would have lost all three if he mixed up which Beyblade he was sending out first because the viewer blade last to most sleep-out losses after being sent out first by basically milliseconds. Beyblades I used as a kid had some seriously dangerous edges to them. It was so bad that Two of them hitting each other broke the plastic quite a few times causing the whole thing to explode. The newer ones just tap off each other barley doing anything, super lame. Oh and modifying them like this with as many metal rings as possible made a huge difference. I put 3 rings on one before.

I'm 30 years old and haven't so much as thought about beyblades in about 12 years. This video brought back so many good memories and definitely put a smile on my face. Keep up the good work!
hey happy birthday! I'm 18 and getting back into beyblades. You played a big part in helping me realize that it's just like many other hobbies and can still be appreciated at an age older than the target audience

Insane stamina type: Phantom aquario Xd stamina mode but you put the metal ring between the plastic part of phantom and xd which gives it more stability and LAD
I don't know if this counts as an "illegal combo", but when I was in an after-school program, we would sometimes make "lego beyblades" (they were spinning tops made of lego, but we called them beyblades because that sounded cooler). none of them lasted very long, but it was fun while they lasted
I didn't have much as a kid sadly, So here's the best combo I could make from my limited parts I only had Plastic face bolts but if you wanna use metal that's fine. You can actually add the perseus to the meteo ring, so I would love to see meteo perseus (with the befall face bolt cause it looks cool) with ad145 semi defence as a combo of L-drago and perseus

Or that beyblade that transforms into a pegasus action figure, idk if it's an event beyblade or something but I was the only one that had that kind of beyblade at my place. It sucks playing with it though, it turns to shrapnel whenever it spins. And I still remember that ugly ass guy on the box, man was he ugly. I also had the Dragoon beyblade that has 4? 8? heads on the attack ring? Top layer? that has a gimmick where 2?4? plastic bits flare out if it spins fast enough, idk if it's a licensed product though cuz it was sketchy af. No, I'm aware of that purple beyblade with tounges. I miss beyblades, especially the "plastic" generation, since it's the only gen I knew. It's freaking expensive to get the original ones from the early 2000's, around $100 for 1. Thank you for reading the rambling of a 30 year old man. Man, I feel old. Edit: I also remember my uncle changing the ball bearing in my Draciel? Dranzer? To a lead one, which was way bigger and heavier. Like 3x heavier, THAT THING WAS A TANK.
I remember that, when i was younger, i was trying to create my own fan-series of Beyblade that took place not so long after the Zero saga. I don't remember a lot about it now, but i do remember that the combo of the main character of the fanseries was: Grand Aries H145CS I never tried it out of theory, so i would like to see how it works on reality
I love that there are people who devote time and energy to Beyblades. I absolutely loved playing with these and trying different combinations as a kid. It genuinely warms my heart that there’s a community out there making the best of this hobby. I would absolutely consider joining if I didn’t have too many other hobbies already.
I dunno anything about beyblades except that Moses split the Red Sea with it once, but watching how each of the different beyblades were spinning differently and in a way that I would never imagine they could maneuver themselves, I am now for certain that these toys are actually sentient beings. On a serious note, this was honestly fairly interesting from the perspective of someone who has never touched a beyblade in his life.
I remember when I was little my brothers and I created beyblades out of legos. This was fun because often the battles ended with a beyblade getting torn apart rather than just getting knocked out of the arena or slowing down.
Happy Birthday man! Glad you still enjoy Beyblade and do these awesome videos! I'm 28 now and still love to collect and battle each series of Beyblade :)
I haven't seen any videos using any of the shogun steel parts before so I want to try throwing out a combo that I have not tried out in a battle before I have two versions of it each doing different things with a single change. Phoenix Ifrit - stamina Shogun face bolt - Ifrit Warrior wheel - Ifrit Warrior wheel - Phoenix Spin track - Wing 105 Performance tip - Metal spike Phoenix Ifrit - attack Shogun face bolt - Ifrit Warrior wheel - Ifrit Warrior wheel - Phoenix Spin track - Wing 105 Performance tip - Rubber flat Thought that this would be an interesting combo because the top wheel is a strong upper attack wheel and the bottom wheel is spinning backwards so it would probably have massive recoil.
I remember I had a few beyblades. Its been a long time so I don't know anything name wise, but one of them I made was actually only three parts. It was the metal bit the screw face goes into and then the bottom piece which connects onto the tip. In order to get it on I had to force the screw face into it and screw until it got stuck screwed in. The thing was very good at its job, being smaller and also really dense, felt pretty good to use. It was basically just a hunk of metal spinning lol
I'm 42 and I like Beyblades. The world is filled with sadness and injustice. Never be ashamed of harmless and fun hobbies such as this. They are the light in an otherwise pitch black world. Be proud you are part of that light brother 👏👏👏
This is maybe a weird illegal combo but its meteo l drago assault but change the energy ring to something that is meant to spin right. Then use a 125 spin track and a hole flat performance tip. But what makes it special is that you have to place Blu-Tack to the face bolt and then use right spin launcher. That gives the meteo l drago assault wheel some dangerous attack power, be aware. ”You can use anything you want against it just dont hurt ur self :D
Super happy that you're still playing! I'm one year older and recently re-discovered it - unfortunately, I am the only one in my friend group who still knows Beyblade exists
7:10 i have a similar combo which i suggested on another video but the internet went down and i don't know if you ever received the comment. basicaly it's also scyte l drago but with 145wd from cygnus and optionally a metal face bolt or a longer one. i suggest the longer because it seems that it works better for me.
First time watching your videos and a beyblade one as well in a while and this brings back so much memories and nostalgia. The series was so fun to watch!
I also have an illegal combo. Face Bolt: Gasher Energy ring: any both-spin Fusion Wheel: Both-spin Duo Spin track: 125 (the simple one) Extra part: you put a flat metallic circle nearly the size of the fusion wheel around the spin track (this is not a bey part) Performance tip: unfortunately i do not remember the name but it was like Rock Lion's but smaller and metallic. If it is made correctly the extra part does not have free-spin and basically makes "duo" a triple fusion wheel. This bey is a right and left rotation bey. You always use the same rotation as the opponent.
I've never been into beyblade I just thought Spinning Battle toys were cool But just with the first fight alone, I think I can see the effects of how you "build" a beyblade and how they move around
Here's a way to incorporate burst discs. Flash Sagittario attack mode Track: 230 Take the sting disc and place it with the 230 track so the prongs are towards the performance tip and hold it together with a circle flat
Fun fact, the big bang illegal thing you did can change from defense to attack. You can loosen the facebolt a little bit and in battle, it'll turn from attack to defense. The big bang illegal could be also used with the delta drive, the one who is the predecessor to the Zeta Driver.
I have an Illegal combo that I created years ago. This thing would decimate opponent Beyblades. Face Bolt: Metal FB Energy Ring: Fox Fusion Wheel: Wing but the 4D wings are flipped upside down, pointing to 0. This will let the energy ring rest on top Spin Track: 90 Performance Tip: R2F Challenge: Survive.
I call this the Ultimate Pegasus Face Bolt:Metal Facebolt Wheel:Pegasus (Hybrid) Track:V145(Put wing pegasus's metal frame below Hybrid Pegasus's gaps) Performance tip:Rubber Flat P.S This can break your beyblades, I also have another "Ultimate Pegasus" combo but that's for another time.
Can you try this stamina combo which sounds kinda interesting Facebolt :- Metal Energy layer :- Eagle Fusion wheel :- Duo (stamina mode) Performance tip :- bearing
I'm not into beyblade. I've got no idea what youtube thought putting this in my recommended. It's 3am. Descriptions sound like deck explanations on card games. This has definetely been an experience.
Here's a Combo I used to love as a Kid: Face Bolt: Pegasus I Energy Ring: Tempo Fusion Wheel: Duo (Stamina Mode) Spin Track: Switch Attack 165 (Defense Mode) Performance Tip: Wide Defense This thing was a TANK. It could out-spin TWO BEYBLADES AT THE SAME TIME. Not to mention that it was also a MASSIVE heavyweight. Edit: Please do the battle in the Takara Tomy Stadium
Man as someone who’s in their 20s I’ve learned this: if you still enjoy it, then you’re not too old for it. I mean hell I went from playing with toy cars to working on cars. Everyone has their own hobbies and interests and as long as you enjoy it then follow ya dreams. Happy birthday brother.
For illegal combos, I've got yet another callback to BeybladeGeeks: - Metal Facebolt - Pegasus 3 Energy Layer - Twisted/Basalt Fusion Wheel - The Big Metal Wheel from Big Bang (3 big wings which form the main contact points) sitting under Basalt with the wings up - WD145 Spintrack (ED145 works as well) - Metal Ball. Bonus points if you have a black and gold Big Bang recolor to match the OG one.
honestly, as someone who mainly just watched the 2000 anime growing up and had 3 of the 4 Sacred Beast beys at the time (Dranzer, Dragoon and Driger), new beyblades are scary with how optimized they are anymore
I remember having 2 metal things on my beyblade. It was so heavy and I never lost against anyone cause whenever it hit anything the other beyblade would break but I can't remember what It was. It was purple and silver on the bottom with a purple tip and a Pegasus piece in it. I think mine was a stamina type because it always just sat in the middle.
lol, you are the same age as me. And this video reminded me of a a illegal combo i've made long ago with my granppa. once the tip of one beyblade of mine broke while I was at my grandfather's house (I don't quite remember what parts where the in it exactl, but I think the tip was from thermal lacerta), and it broke in a way that basically left a whole in the tip, my granpa then cut the tip of a huge nail and used one of those tools that are like rotating stone disk things to smooth it out, then helped me glue it to the broken tip, and with the help of some tape, it made the work of a tip and a bolt, the result was very little stamina(I still don't know why, in my understanding a metal tip and hevier bey should help with stamina), but was the haviest and angriest beyblade I've ever seen, depending on the surface it was placed it could literally leave a trail of destruction (if you ever try it, don't out if over the regular arena)
Here's one illegal combo I still like Facebolt: Metal Energy Ring: L-drago (Destroy) Fusion wheel Phantom but just the plastic piece Spin track; GB145 Performance tip: Metal Flat. For a legal combo Face Bolt: Metal Energy Ring: Leone Fusion wheel: Big Bang (Smash mode) Performance tip: Final Survive
Another Plastic gen part that fits is the weight disk from hard metal system beyblades, specifically on poison serpents Spin track(Remove the plastic spiky thing) It litterally fits in perfectly and adds nice weight Ps:You can still put a performance tip no issue
Just a thought, I'd alternate which beyblade you rip first, instead of doing the same one first every round. Just to give each a fair opportunity
I was going to say the same thing, I think it's probably fair for area outs but for sleep outs it's kinda cheezy
@@JamesBeaucoup i too was also, also going to say that

Phoenix Ifrit - attack
Shogun face bolt - Ifrit
Warrior wheel - Ifrit
Warrior wheel - Phoenix
Spin track - Wing 105
Performance tip - Rubber flat
Thought that this would be an interesting combo because the top wheel is a strong upper attack wheel and the bottom wheel is spinning backwards so it would probably have massive recoil.
Youve unlocked some serious childhood memories for me!!! Beyblade and Bedemon were THE SHIT as a kid. This is awesome
Facebolt: L Drago destructor
Energy ring: jade jupiter
Fusion wheel: death fusion wheel(ATTACK)
Spin track : rubber 145
Tip: rubber defence flat
I'm 42 and I like Beyblades. The world is filled with sadness and injustice. Never be ashamed of harmless and fun hobbies such as this. They are the light in an otherwise pitch black world. Be proud you are part of that light brother 👏👏👏
bro i love your bey blade videos please never stop they were my childhood lmao
The fact that I actually sat through this full Video lmao. Good work man XD
Damn, I should really get back into Beyblade’s, I still think they’re cool as hell and deserve more popularity. Also happy late birthday
Facebolt: Susanow
Energy Ring: Susanow
Metal Wheel: Phantom
Track: Shield 130
Tip: Rubber Flat
Happy Birthday Dude! Still loving bey hobby at age of 23. This makes me feel okay when I'm down.
Such a good video, brought back some good childhood memories, happy birthday man!
I honestly didn't know that Beyblades were relevant again so awesome
YOU DROPED THE BEYBLADE AT 8:43 IT WAS SO FUNNY XD LOVE IT
Facebolt: Lyra
Energy Ring: Lyra (can use Nemesis too)
Metal Wheel: Big Bang
Track: W105
Tip: Wide Flat
This video brought me back to elementary
7:10 i have a similar combo which i suggested on another video but the internet went down and i don't know if you ever received the comment. basicaly it's also scyte l drago but with 145wd from cygnus and optionally a metal face bolt or a longer one. i suggest the longer because it seems that it works better for me.
First time watching your videos and a beyblade one as well in a while and this brings back so much memories and nostalgia. The series was so fun to watch!
I like your video
Metal face bolt
Energy ring - aquario
Fusion wheel - flash
Spin track - 85
Performance tip - Ball flat
I also have an illegal combo.
Face Bolt: Gasher
Energy ring: any both-spin
Fusion Wheel: Both-spin Duo
Spin track: 125 (the simple one)
Extra part: you put a flat metallic circle nearly the size of the fusion wheel around the spin track (this is not a bey part)
Performance tip: unfortunately i do not remember the name but it was like Rock Lion's but smaller and metallic.
If it is made correctly the extra part does not have free-spin and basically makes "duo" a triple fusion wheel.
This bey is a right and left rotation bey.
You always use the same rotation as the opponent.
ash: charmander i choose you
ryuga: yeah well l drago let it rip
ash:wtf
charmander: dies
I've never been into beyblade I just thought Spinning Battle toys were cool
But just with the first fight alone, I think I can see the effects of how you "build" a beyblade and how they move around
8:43 bro really thought we wouldnt see that 😂
Here's a way to incorporate burst discs.
Flash Sagittario attack mode
Track: 230
Take the sting disc and place it with the 230 track so the prongs are towards the performance tip and hold it together with a circle flat
Face Bolt: Metal FB
Energy Ring: Fox
Fusion Wheel: Wing but the 4D wings are flipped upside down, pointing to 0. This will let the energy ring rest on top
Spin Track: 90
Performance Tip: R2F
Challenge: Survive.
I call this the Ultimate Pegasus
Face Bolt:Metal Facebolt
Wheel:Pegasus (Hybrid)
Track:V145(Put wing pegasus's metal frame below Hybrid Pegasus's
gaps)
Performance tip:Rubber Flat
P.S This can break your beyblades,
I also have another "Ultimate Pegasus" combo but that's for another time.
I dropped beyblades at 10, wasn't even aware of how deep of a rabbit hole it is coming back 15 years later
That L-Drago at the start was smoking some MAD cocaine before it went into the arena. It was so aggressive it knocked itself out
You should try to beat the illegal beyblades with legal ones.
Love the content so much! :D
That Striker vs Pegasus was so satisfying to hear, such an eargasms clash!!
hear me out, use blue tac to attach a bunch of pins to the rim of the beyblade.
8:42
You didn't have to let me gooo
Can you try this stamina combo which sounds kinda interesting
Facebolt :- Metal
Energy layer :- Eagle
Fusion wheel :- Duo (stamina mode)
Performance tip :- bearing
I'm not into beyblade. I've got no idea what youtube thought putting this in my recommended. It's 3am. Descriptions sound like deck explanations on card games.
This has definetely been an experience.
Seeing that plastic gen weight disk brings back so many memories. Haven’t even seen a beyblade in 15 years but damn the nostalgia
Here's a Combo I used to love as a Kid:
Face Bolt: Pegasus I
Energy Ring: Tempo
Fusion Wheel: Duo (Stamina Mode)
Spin Track: Switch Attack 165 (Defense Mode)
Performance Tip: Wide Defense
This thing was a TANK. It could out-spin TWO BEYBLADES AT THE SAME TIME. Not to mention that it was also a MASSIVE heavyweight.
Edit: Please do the battle in the Takara Tomy Stadium
Im just blown away Bayblades still have a following this big!!! Warms me heart
For illegal combos, I've got yet another callback to BeybladeGeeks:
- Metal Facebolt
- Pegasus 3 Energy Layer
- Twisted/Basalt Fusion Wheel
- The Big Metal Wheel from Big Bang (3 big wings which form the main contact points) sitting under Basalt with the wings up
- WD145 Spintrack (ED145 works as well)
- Metal Ball.
Bonus points if you have a black and gold Big Bang recolor to match the OG one.
In this episode of "why the hell is this recommended to me" I dive back into childhood nostalgia as I cheer two bayblades
Facebolt: Hades
Energy Ring: Hades
Metal Wheel: Hell
Track: BD145 (Defense, But you can use the attack mode too)
Tip: Rubber Defense Flat
honestly, as someone who mainly just watched the 2000 anime growing up and had 3 of the 4 Sacred Beast beys at the time (Dranzer, Dragoon and Driger), new beyblades are scary with how optimized they are anymore
I didn't know that the beys were so complex (in fact, they couldn't be disassembled and combined) and it looks incredible
I never knew nerds still did this shit. Glad to see the community alive and well, keep it up ya nerds
10:25 I think I'm the most surprised at how aggressive the burger is, seven layers of speed
A fun little combo I did as a kid was Earth Eagle with the smallest spin track I could find paired with an around sharp performance tip
Here's one illegal combo I still like
Facebolt: Metal
Energy Ring: L-drago (Destroy)
Fusion wheel Phantom but just the plastic piece
Spin track; GB145
Performance tip: Metal Flat.
For a legal combo
Face Bolt: Metal
Energy Ring: Leone
Fusion wheel: Big Bang (Smash mode)
Performance tip: Final Survive
Man the memories. I remember one time my friend launched a bayblade down the stairs at me. Missed. And landed inside the wall making a big hole lol
Another Plastic gen part that fits is the weight disk from hard metal system beyblades, specifically on poison serpents Spin track(Remove the plastic spiky thing)
It litterally fits in perfectly and adds nice weight
Ps:You can still put a performance tip no issue
I am glad people are still making metal fight videos:)
face bolt: Pegasus
Energy Ring: Capricorn
Fusion wheel: Beat
Spin Track: M145
Performance tip: B
Face bolt: Meteo-l Drago
Fusion wheel: meteo-l Drago
Energy ring: spiral
Driver: rubber tip
It's a really fun combination try it out
Combo
Metal face bolt
Energy ring: pegasus
Fusion Wheel: twisted
Spin track: w105
Tip: wd
Can use only attack
This was a super fun video especially the last battle of immovable mountains
