The previous owner never understood a Harley. They never listened to the engine music at any speed. They just bought the bike for an image but its an image which isn't suited to any Harley Davidson bike. The sonic music beats from this sportster bike is the sound of an engine speeding and when you back off the accelerator the engine is quiet. It's making musical beats which tell the rider they're racing. When you ride the thing, it plays the music of racing a bike. Putting ape hangers on a bike which can only play the sound of racing, is a huge mistake, and you'll look and sound like an idiot! Even the 48 bike can only play the sonic sound of a racing bike. The timing of the engine beats is designed to give you the impression of racing where ever you go. Listen to the beats of the engine at idol, then at medium speed, at main road speed, at freeway speed, and at deceleration speed. This story of music, is the Harley tuned music song for the bike. It can't be changed with custom pipes, etc... Cause its comming from Harley designed DNA. The engine of this bike is playing a song which doesn't work with those handle bars.
