It seems we are few, but we are here! My boy is due in March 2024. This is the 2nd of many diaper pail videos I intend to watch, but so far I'm between the Ubbi and Dekor.

@@stephenfurr8769 We actually got a Diaper Genie from a friend so we're going to start with that and see how it goes. The Ubbi still seems like a solid choice and is probably what I would go with if we didn't already have the Genie... And if the Genie sucks, we'll probably try the Ubbi.

love the dekor i also use it for my 1 year old dog and i adopted her at 5 months. im 30weeks pregnant and to me if i can cope with the poop from my dog and trust me. they can smell ungoldly but with some kitty litter it is a win win for me so im getting another one for my son. i highly recommend the dekor..take it from a dog mom.
How do you use a normal garbage bag for the dekor diaper pail? Could you please do a video on that. Thanks

I had the ubbi and loved it. I now have the dekor and I hate it! It smells so bad even when closed. No wonder it was free 😒

No one gets links to free products. It was probably a hand me down or on fb marketplace

I got the ubbi and although it keeps most of the smell in for the individual diapers when I went to change the whole thing I about died from the smell that was released
thanks for the video! does the dekor diaper pail hold in smells when it’s closed? i see a LOT of mixed reviews about it online. half the people say it holds in smells, and half of them say the smell is nauseating even while closed. this is why i’m apprehensive about getting one 😬
I think it does. But Normally if there’s a BIG poop I dump the poop in the toilet and flush it.
I'm in Pampers size 6 for bedtime accidents but really I should invest in one for myself 🤣
Hey so i just got a diaper genie as a gift. I used it for the first for my toddler (2yrs) a poopy diaper. After few hrs i opened the foot pedal again to throw another wet diaper and i could smell the poopy diaper inside it even tho i out the poopy diaper in a small diaper disposal bag then into the genie but i still smelt it when i opened to throw another diaper. I do have the carbon filters that i put in before use and i put one at the bottom of the pail as well. How come i can smell when i open to throw the diaper? The smell does go away in 1 min after closing but i thought there was not supposed to be any smell? Please help!!!
My advice is to scoop the poop and flush it instead of throwing it in a diaper pail. The diaper can go in the diaper pail- but the big poop should go in the toilet. I think Once babies start eating real food it’s gonna stink no matter how many gadgets are involved. 🤪😂🤗

How do you “scoop” out the poop? With toilet paper?
I have the ubbi and I heat it. It smells so bad every time you open it up all the smell comes out.
Yeah, I do agree with you there, when you open it all the smells are exposed. But we haven’t had that issue with the Dekor.
You are not supposed to heat it 😂

Just put dirty diaper in a ziplog bag or dog poop bag and use regular trash can. That works much better than diaper pail. My mom gave me Diaper Genie as a present, what a waste of money. Such a useless product. The smell still comes out every time you open the lid.

@@EbethFielder i wonder if they all would work on incontinent adults or handicapped like me .. yea My doctor actually wants me to use adult diapers 1-3 days after epileptic attacks.. would adult tape diapers fit? And how many adults like me when sick needs 3-4 Tena Slip Maxi diapers a day after epileptic attacks in 24 hours to 72 hours fx .. but if they fit handicapped its a option for private handicapped incontinent people or sick chronic people as many stuff can take ya control
