Whoever introduced me to the Chopin Project, I cannot thank you enough for this godsend
I'm sure Chopin would have appreciated this treatment in 7. In his 1st piano sonata, the 3rd mvmt. is in 5 - pretty rare for 1827 (unless you're Anton Reicha)!
Just discovered this beautiful recording. I had no idea Chopin could be arranged like this. Kurt is a generational talent. Everything he does transcends the ordinary. These selections are a musical light beaming into a tawdry, corrupt world of ignorance, selfishness, and greed. Thank you!
The project was the idea of Jean-Paul Brodbeck, though, he also did all the arrangements, produced the recording and played the piano.
@@vittli I'll have to look into Broadbeck. Love his playing on this session but there is something about Kurt's solos that keep me coming back to this recording. Have probably listened to it 100 times so far, and the music doesn't get old.
Well said!
The Monumetal project in the history of world Music!!! Amazing sound and improvizing ideas!!!

Absolutely stunningly beautiful! Wonderful arrangement, exeptional playing. Music heaven :)

YO!!!!!! That is a source of material to play over for sure. And really mess with it! You guys are not the first, and that is completely unimportant. But it sounds fun!

That Soundz Really Hot!
For anyone new to this: you might want to check out Jaques Loussier.
Absolutely genius! That SG sounded so buttery beautiful! I’ve been dying for creative light like this in this age of a mind warping cultural genocidal malaise as globalization rears its ugly hydra heads, and we are pummeled by the awful soul killing pop music EDM nursery rhyme junk that is transhumanizing people into malleable biological algorithms. This is the spirit that crushes that, what a great band!
Well said.
@@kmaclean but……It is very sad to see a brilliant musician like Kurt Rosenwinkle subscribe to this anti-science anti-humanist fascism by requiring proof of “vaccination” and mask wearing, first of all it is technically not a vax but an experimental mRNA gene therapy as well the mask is akin to keeping a blizzard off your lawn with a chain linked fence. You have dearly lost your souls with this idiocy. Get your head out of your ass and work a man’s job to get a semblance of your humanity back. Cowardice and totalitarian compliance is not what makes great art, as long as you hold these force fed irrationalities I will watch your art whither
@@kmaclean Same thoughts as you expressed, different words&rhythm :)
Dude. I have been calling it nursery rhyme music for years. First person I’ve seen say the same. Well said.
Nice, but I wish Kurt used an unsynthesized tone. This is just too fusion-y.
