I've really enjoyed your videos testing these out extensively. Thanks for your time and patience! I've been noticing on the ROG Ally, the game seemed a bit too bright and washed out and shadows aren't rendering properly. Moving from a bright area into somewhere dark like a cave, I'll see an abrupt change into the dark surroundings. You can test this out in the first chapter, just turn around and there's a cave right behind the shrine (Black wind mountain > Forest of Wolves > Outside the Forest). It's quite jarring and immersion breaking. If I set Global Illumination to any settings other than Low, all my shadows (eg inside caves) becomes super bright. If I set that to Low, I'll get that super jarring change from bright to dark areas. On the ROG Ally, it feels like I can only render shadows/dark areas 2m from my character. The steam deck had the same problems. So then I thought I'd try the DLSS enabler for the steam deck, and it turns out that mod actually fixed the brightness and shadow rendering when I use DLSS. This time I had to put Global Illumination to medium in order for it to work. I did the same mod for my ROG Ally, but it still doesn't solve the problem. Any ideas on how I can fix this on the Ally? Enabling Low Ray Tracing on the Ally seemed to work too, but shadows and FPS would take a huge hit.
Yeah man, the game is fairly new and has many bugs but most of the big content creators are ignoring them. Probably due to the review copies? Frame generation literally doesn't work in the prologue, can be fixed via fsr 3 mods. Memory leak is present if you play the game for hours. 60 fps cap with vsync + frame generation on ally. Traversal stutters are well known. Shadows appear fuzzy even on medium, high looks ok. A new amd gpu driver optimised was dropped yesterday, should give it a try.
@@GamingDJ4u wow thanks! Didn't know about the new driver. I'm guessing it's a driver side issue, I heard the Ally has similar problems with games made with unreal engine 5. I've uninstalled DLSS enabler for my steam deck and the shadows are still fixed 😁 I'll give the new driver a shot! Hopefully it fixes some issue for this game
@@GamingDJ4u the new driver actually did fix this issue that was seriously annoying me! And thanks so much for the video where you showed how to install the new driver! I kept getting that error 182 when I tried to use the driver installer! Thanks again so much for the clear instructions!!!
just verify the game files. if you fudged up one thing its not going to work. just make sure to enable cloud saves for the game just in case steam totally reinstalls it
Not much difference is noticeable on ally's small display especially during a boss fight, you rarely stand still. However, on my desktop pc i never ever use fsr upscaler, it's absolutely garbage. Can easily see shimmering going on in the background, always dlss.

These instructions fucked with my game and my frame generation. No DLSS working and the game hasn’t worked the same since deleting the mod.

Follow the mods' uninstalling instructions shown in the video.
bro what is the waiting time in oneplay cloud gaming service?
Games start instantly most of the time but it can depend on the time of the day.
Don’t you find TSR better than FSR in game?

which mod is better? ot its equal?
Not much difference, both mods can't render textures properly when you set textures setting to anything other than low in certain chapters.
Can I use with only the dlss enabler fsr 3.1 when I write fsr31? Or do I need extra stuff because fsr 3.1 is better than fsr3
Yeah just type fsr31
@@GamingDJ4u but I have a amd gpu
@@sevans1596 that's not a problem
@@GamingDJ4u can i also use it at the ff16 Demo because it only Gas fsr 3.0
Should work but i observed some artifacts around the character model with nukem9's mod.
