What do you think, have I gotten any better?

"Shoot what makes you happy". My favorite thing you said. I also rock the x-570 and after using it for a year I must say I love it, but getting the aesthetic you want without thinking too much about controls is what I like about point and shoot cameras. I'd recommend getting a P&S, I currently have the Canon PRIMA BF80 and it has really allowed me to focus on the composition rather than the technicals and has been more enjoyable to shoot. I also recently had my first experience with ultramax and I think I'm in love lol.

It rings true! I enjoy photography most when I'm focusing on creating images that make me happy! The x-570 is what I started with and it is such a nice experience to shoot with! I will have to look into that. Thanks for the comment!

Thanks for this video. Kinda what I needed to hear. "Just go out and shoot". New to film and kinda photography in general. Film is so great. Such a different experience. It's a blast.

Thanks for watching! Yeah don't put too much pressure on yourself to create something super artistic. Just go out and shoot and see what your eye is drawn to! This craft takes time to develop, so go out and just start shooting! I'm glad you're enjoying the experience!

I started my photography journey in 2021 and wanted to do film. I’ve gotten lucky on what I’ve shot mostly do to having the camera on auto and I got a good deal on a digital camera to try to learn what changing settings can do.

Yeah it's definitely a good move learning all of the settings on digital before going to film! Honestly auto settings on film is a good way to go!
