This is all bullshit, I have been an electronic tech all my life, no parts , schematics nor proper test equipment. So sure they fixed it , she screws the back on without testing it and which makes it impossible to adjust anything. Its clickbait, many other videos like it.
One thing that does not seem right is that a soldering gun is being used for printed circuit board repairs. A low wattage pencil iron with a fine tip is the tool needed for this kind of work.

Nice to see this tv living on. I've repaired tv's in the past in my own shop. I see that you have to work with very basic tools. That's ok, the most important thing is knowing how to troubleshoot stuff. I was a bit worried over two things: i didn't see you discharge the main filtercap, which can and does store line voltage, so it can bite you pretty bad. It can be lethal. Please be more carefull next time. Also i was sceptical about the big soldering iron on the tight spots, easy to bridge some pads where you don't want them to be. But you got it done so it seems, i would try it out before you put the lid on though. This kind of video's remind me on how it started for me. Smart thing to use the wire as desoldering braid.
