Snatch is my top 10 movies of all time.
Same
In my top 10 also
My Top Movie outside Horror and Comedy.
All 10?
K
The more you watch this movie, the more you appreciate the subtle genius of Rade Šerbedžija "Boris the Blade". He's as hilarious as much as he is menacing. He steals every scene he's in. 😂
" Nikola Tesla "
In winter it can get.. very depressing
Beautiful spelling on Rade.
I first saw him as the villian in the underrated Val Kilmer spy film "The Saint". He's fantastic in that too.
You mean Borris The Bullet Dodger!
My favorite part..."Anything to declare?"...."Yeah, don't go to England!'
Ha, ha, that's one of my favourite quotes too! 👍😁👍
When bullet tooth Tony is in the car and says ‘oh I love this track’ it’s the same song that was playing when he got shot 6 times loool
Every time I hear that song I say it. Lol
I've watched this movie a hundred times and never noticed it!😅
Sol the leader of the black crew was Morgan in The Walking Dead. His name in Lennie James. Snatch had a really memorable cast. Brick Top had the best quotes. My favorite was "In the quiet words of the Virgin Mary... come again?"
Almost every line was quotable in that film, it's just unbelievable. Brick Top was crazy good, but just about everyone was amazing too. Also, you can really see why Brad Pitt is a star in that film; his acting was world class.
I love how Benicio Del Torros character keeps asking "where is the stone" when Thanos asked him the same question in Guardians of the Galaxy.
Top notch writing, directing, acting, cinematography, editing, soundtrack.. a PERFECT film ❤
I hope he eventually watches "Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels" as well, such good movies!
"Tommy 'the tit' is praying. And if he isn't, he f*cking should be!" Such a good line
Brick Top is one of the best written and performed villain of all time....I mean like Hannibal level. From the words to the way it comes out in that playful storytelling, but dreadfully serious undertones of the Cockney accent.
One of my favourite character descriptions in all of cinema: "As bent as the Soviet sickle, and as hard as the hammer that crosses it" 😂😂😂
"Heavy is good, heavy is reliable. If it doesn't work you can always hit them with it."
🤔🤣
Absolutely love this film, need more British movies of this calibre again. 😂
You seen Rock n Rolla?
Guy Richie got back on form with "The Gentleman", excellent film.
@@SoloGetHyktRock and Rolla is great.
On the off chance you haven't seen "lock stock and 2 smoking barrels" its a very similar movie by the same director and a lot of the same actors
@@will1565 💯 my 2nd fav outside horror and comedy 😆
The Pikey community actually said that the best version of their accent on film was Brad Pitt's in Snatch. He did a lot of research(day drinking) to pick up their mannerisms too.
Periwinkle blue is the only color caravan i would ever get now :P
You'll enjoy a lot of Guy Ritchie's movies Leo. Lock Stock & 2 Smoking Barrels (watch with subs 😉), The Man From UNCLE, The Gentleman, Operation Fortune and RocknRolla are all a lot of fun.
Snatch makes me laugh every single time. It's such a good movie
"In the quiet words of the virgin Mary, "Come again". Best line yet.
"You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity."
It's insane that Brad Pitt actually has what most people consider one of the most accurate Irish accents. People from the backwoods of Ireland are this unintelligible, but lots of Irish people say that they cant fully get this movie because they understand everything Brad Pitt says, so it's not as funny the miscommunication.
Also, you should check out "Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels" (1998) next.
It's a traveller accent. Yes, some backwoods speak like that..... but 90% of normal Irish don't. Travellers have lived so long in England that their accent has morphed into something different.
For reference most Brits I know who are not super posh can understand what's being said too..... we have all dealt with real life Pikeys on rec grounds and the many problems they cause! The reality is they are hated for a reason
*Romani gypsies on the other hand ROCK, and the two groups should not be confused
They’re not actually people from the back woods of Ireland, they’re travellers who have been classified as their own ethnic group, Pitt’s accent is decent not 100% accurate, search for travellers bare knuckle boxing on UA-cam to hear the genuine accent even harder to understand than Pitt’s.
Brad Pitt's accent isn't even an actual accent, they made him intentionally not understandable because Pitt couldn't get the accent down. So Pitt made up his own accent to fit the part. This is all explained in the directors cut of the DVD release...
What do you mean when you say “Irish accent” and who are “most people”? There are two Irelands: the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland, and there are several Irish accents. A person from Belfast sounds completely different than a person from Dublin. Pitt’s character is from the traveller community, who are are a distinct cultural group with a unique way of speaking. He’s not from the “backwoods of Ireland”, wherever that is.
That accent brad pitt did was Very bad that a fact 😂🤣
Please watch more Guy Ritchie movies. "Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrells" & "The Gentlemen" are probably the next best ones behind Snatch
_"I love a barbie."_
I think the Man from U.N.C.L.E. is good too
Both are absolute gems.
seems like you forgot about Rock'n'rolla
@@bmaxime8771 everybody does
Stellar cast of comedians, thespian, theatrical etc. National treasures and back then up and coming stars. Either became action stars, character actors or part of the biggest zombie series.
Leo, if you thought for two years they were calling Tyrion Lannister "Tyrone", I cannot wait to hear you trying to decipher the accents in Snatch (or in Trainspotting for that matter:)!
Statham and Pitt...how could you go wrong !?..🤣...
Love this movie !!..I just watched it 2 days ago...
I'll be glad when folks grow a thick skin again and aren't insulted by everything...yeah.. I love this movie !!...more Statham PLEASE !!!!...
🌿🌿🌿
The part in the movie when Bricktop says the bit about ice cracking and him being right under when it cracks? That's the line I used on my son when he was a teen. "Yep. You go ahead and do that, but remember what happens when your ice cracks!!" Haha! Caught him using the line on my grandson last weekend.
Also, I haven't heard a cigarette referred to as a square in forever....thanks for giving me an instant flash back to a certain time and place lol!!
Buying single squares for a quarter at the sketchy BP across from school! Ahhh the 2000s.
One of my favorite movies right there . Tyron the vet away driver had me rollin .
“You’re a professional aren’t you Tyrone?”…. “Cause I am”… LOL.. Brilliant.
Magnificent film.
Whenever money is involved I use the term "I lose more than that running for the bus". It absolutely kills negotiate people.
This movie is so freaking great!
I’ve seen this movie so many times and I never get tired of it
3:42 Let me explain to you exactly how cold Brick Top is: he kills Gary for disloyalty - taking a job with someone else - and then kills the guy who snitched on him... for snitching on him. TO HIM (that's what the "I've got no time for grassers" line was; "grasser" is English slang for a snitch). Brick Top does not like his minions to think for themselves, at all.
He doesn't like them blowing smoke up his arse either, he's as difficult a boss as he is anything else lol.
One of the best movies of all time. Looking forward to this reaction.
Guy Ritchie's best work, along with Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels,
From what I’ve read, while “Pikey” is considered a slur by many, it refers to people spending a lot of their time on the turnpike, referring to their nomadic lifestyle.
Oh I wondered where the name came from & that makes sense, as they were always on the move, or used to be? Some years ago, it was made known that this "name" could be classed as a slur? But the few that we knew, even referred to themselves as Pik*ys. Others referred to themselves as "carnies", as they ran a big carnival, but had a permanent place to spend the winter months.
Brad Pitt’s best role. Saw this in the theater. I can’t count how many times I’ve seen it since. It’s too bad you had to edit the music cuz the soundtrack makes the movie. 💜
Aldo Rainn
Absolutely killer soundtrack. The 2 i liked the most is Massive attack and the song with dogs and rabbit hunt
@@ThatsMyStuffYouBledOnTrevorit’s raine
18:15 "I don't know who crazier, Brick Top or Boris?"
Yes.
One of the funniest and craziest action comedy movies ever made!
Love it!
Lol at your reaction to Boris thinking he was dead after each set of shots!
*"In the quiet words of the Mother Mary.. Come Again?"* 🤣🤣
Brick Top is one of the scariest villains on film. I freaked out the first time I watched this because I instantly knew Alan Ford's voice - from the late 1970s, when he played Zaphod's friend Roosta in the radio version of The Hitch-Hiker's Guide To The Galaxy. That was pretty weird, hearing Roosta's voice coming out of such a terrifying character.
Ladies gush over Brad Pitt but I wouldn't mind meeting the man myself just because of this film and his role as Louis from Interview With the Vampire. Absolutely iconic. "Ah needta hava shite!"
3:46 So, if I remember cortectly, Guy Ritchie was in a restaurant and two criminal guys sat at the next table and talked about ways to dispose of bodies the way auto mechanics might discuss changing an idiot's totally worn out brakes.
He had no interest in making a scene or making himself seem suspicious, so he just sat there and listened till they left.
He wound up with many interesting story ideas.
My favorite movie ever. Literally quote this movie at least once a week in daily conversation.
"Gorgeous George is a professional unlicensed boxer, that should never happen!" lmao you are awesome dude
This was an excellent movie choice 👍
Things get bigger in reverse, Tyrone!
Oh this movie is so good!
When I worked in the theatre, this is the one movie I would watch at the end of my shift. No matter what part it was in. Love this movie. Also Memento.
I love this movie. Every character is so unique and memorable and that the movie is told as four separate stories that all somehow end up Crossing each other. I wish British gangster films were a larger genre than they are
Yeah but not having a much larger genre makes films like this more special
This is one movie you need to turn the subtitles on for 🤣
Top 5 movie, gotta love Guy. Brad was a revelation in this movie
W movie and leo is coming with the consistent uploads 🔥💯
One of my all time favorite movies! It was so fast and comedic and such a great script with a crapload of amazing actors. Also, a great soundtrack.
🤣🤣🤣 That's a proper good title!
Great movie. If you enjoyed this please watch Lock, Stock, and two smoking barrels.
Agreed 100% I love Lock Stock even more than Snatch.
This movie is one of the rare movies I give 10/10
So re watchable
Awww man! One of my favorite movies! A buddy in high school put me on to this, and he was like before you see it! You may need to watch twice!? Lol. So much goes on, I’m like wtf, but it was funny and entertaining, one of my top movies.
I've watched Snatch a dozen or more times, mind wanders here and there each time thinking of something said, so I miss things said in the same scene. So I still to this day am piecing together occurences in different scenes. Take this time, the botched heist where she says all bets are off, I never really thought about that scene much, but it just dawned on me that the reason all bets are off is because Turkish changed the fighter as I caught Brick Top saying in his scene with Turkish this time round too. This movie is true genius... Almost everything spoken and everything that happens, has some related thing further down the movie.
Boris taking them desert eagle rounds like a champ😂
I've just realised this for the first time. When Franky steals the diamond, he says exactly what Thanos will one day say to him in infinity war. "Where's the stone?"
So glad you got to see this movie! When people ask "What's your favorite movie?" this one is my answer. Great comedy, awesome action, all the storylines come together by the end with a few twists. I love this movie!
Lock, stock and two shocking barrels is what made snatch, it's a MUST see
This was one of the wildest movies ever. You looked exactly the way I did when I first watched this movie.
The other one before Snatch is “Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels…”
Guy Ritchies movies are always fun to watch. They are so well scripted, many jokes, stylish, good music. I would like to see your reactions to other his movies like Gentlemen, U.N.C.L.E.
Fucking love this film. It's in my top 5 of all time. Glad you finally got to experience it. You should check out Lock Stock & Two Smoking Barrels also. Not as polished but it's the first movie by this director, also starring Jason Statham. It's great.
Alan Ford (Brick Top) is also in Lock, Stock but a smaller roll. He is the barman that works for Eddy's dad who is played by Sting.
there are a few others in both moves too.
What’s your top five?
@@SeanGavin-rf5vdrole not roll
This is one (like the Cornetto Trilogy) that is completely rewatchable and just gets better each time you watch it!
Hells yeah!! This will be a good one!!! Thanks Leo!
There was no chance you wouldn't love this movie. Now you have to see "Lock, stock and two smoking barrels" by the same director.
Tip top reaction! And cheers for not messing around with a long intro. I've always wanted to see an American's take on this classic...The scary part is people like Bricktop probably actually exist in London's criminal underworld! And I love how it was filmed in real London and not a movie studio. 👍 Could you please possibly react to the original Terminator from 1984?
👀!
MrVideo saves the evenin’ with an awesome movie! Thanks 👍
Boris must've been a descendant of Rasputin. 😄
Amazing movie, the pig speech is iconic
This movie is one of my favorites, my twin worked in a movie theater and she saw this movie every chance she got. The dog in the movie was a real problem the part where it was attacking was real and it was frustrating the guy who played Sol and you can see his frustration with the dog cause it came close to biting his dick, later they changed it to a more tame dog
Continue with more from Guy Ritchie ;)
Man, I haven't watched that movie for years and I'd forgotten how great it is!
When Britain makes good films, they make very good films. Snatch is a classic. you should watch Lock Stock & 2 Smoking Barrels next
"Damn pik- oh, idunno if that's a racist slur!"
WINNER :D that's the first reactor I've seen who's little alarm-bell rang just in time; it is indeed considered offensive, something so many other reactors never figure out :D
This movie was a wild ride for a first time watch, it was crazy, great movie, great reaction thanks Leo ❤
I like the way you bleeped out all the swearing but left the English / UK swearing 😂 😂
Heard a lot of Bollocks and a few Twats in there. 😂 😂 😂
Ikr ! Lol
Now you have to watch "Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels"!! Another great Guy Richie film with a badass soundtrack and some of the best dialog
If you like that style of gangsta flick I would suggest the directors (guy Ritchie) first hit, “lock, stock, and two smoking barrels” or his lastest in the genre “the gentlemen”. Both fun
This is one of the best movies. I am so glad you did this one. Now you just need to do Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas!!! Love the reactions and keep up the good work!
This is one of my favorite movies...I have watched it so many times. Avi's arrival in London is and Brick Top's nemesis soliloquy are just brilliant!
Guy Ritchie is the GOAT. snatch is one of my favorites but i love rock n rolla too
Everyone needs a pig farmer friend, just incase 😂
You literally have no idea how much I love this movie and I definitely have to watch it with subtitles😂
That’s exactly what I was gonna say. Otherwise you cannot understand a word lol
This was a college favorite for me and the boys it's extremely quotable.
Dude you are quickly becoming one of my favorite reactors! Keep up the good work!
"COME ON TONY! TONY COME ON!,....Tony?,...tony?"
Dropping this before I watch your reaction. I LOVE this movie and I know you will too. Thanks for watching it.
16:33 ive been quoting that line for like 20 years lol "stop me whalst im walking again and ill cut your f'n Jacobs off" lol.
Lock, Stock and two Smoking Barrels! It's a must along with Snatch
There’s too many great lines but one of the best subtle ones is 17:57. 17 years ago when I was a teenager i was in a death metal band and we had This 22:04 as a sample. This is my number 1 movie. Thanks for reacting I’m glad you’re doing well. I’m sure you can understand I only watch videos I’m interested in but I do see the bullshit that happened. All the best to you fam.
This movie is after Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels. Another must from the same director and Jason Statham's first movie. Similar movie, lower budget, equally epic.
One of my faves been waiting on this 👏🐐
The more times you watch it, the more small things you catch in it that are related to each other.. my top 3 movies of all time. So hilarious 💥
At the start of the movie it's an 86 carat diamond and at the end it's 84. And I never noticed until I started watching reaction videos.
There is a deleted scene that tells you more about Brick Top.
He comes off as a high roller, but he is more of a middle level boss. There are people above him that can squash him like nothing. You actually see some of it during the fallout of the boxing match when there are guys who talk down on him and he just take it.
It would actually explain why he goes out of the way to create a reputation or brutality and cruelty. I mean he is cruel bastard, but he has to make it known to cement his position. If he was a big fish he above having his name connected with his business.
One of my favorite movies ever. Just seen 'The Covenant'. Guy Ritchie is an awesome film maker.
This is the only movie where I can't decide which my favourite character is, they all are.
Absolutely in my top 10!! Super great movie bro
Let’s go! I hope you enjoyed this. Slumdog Millionaire please watch! ❤
