Just spent 3 days in Gatlinburg with my family. Did cades cove in rainy weather which actually made it more beautiful. Townsend was incredible as well. Looking forward to part 2.
I really enjoyed the area…I wish I could have spent more time within the park. I agree…it rained a bit the second day I was there and it was beautiful. Thank you for watching!
Made it over to Cades Coves last week 7/21, saw 9 bears between 7PM and 8:30PM. The rain the night before kept them hunkered down, they were hungry looking for food that next day! I highly suggest going in the evening, that’s your best bet to get a glimpse of them.
Thanks Donald! Yeah, they must not like the heat of day as much. I would think there was more than 20 as well...an older fella that works for the park was the one who told me that, which surprised me.
@@WhentheDustSettles i live not far from the cove,go there alot..theres so much to see there but many people only drive the loop and never get to see it all
Hi When, I enjoyed your trip but it ended all too soon but I will be here to catch the rest. We have so many beautiful places right here in our own backyards and I thank you and others for letting people like me have the opportunity to view it along with you. Keep on truckin'!!
Hi Nancy! Haha…I’m sorry it ended so quickly! My wife and I are truck camping the New England area and I was struggling to find a time when we were still for a day so I could edit and upload. Part two definitely has a happy ending! 🐻🐻 Thanks so much watching and I’m so glad I can share these beautiful places with you all! Godspeed!
@@WhentheDustSettles P.S. I'm glad to hear your wife was along. I was beginning to think you left her alone a lot - lol. Is she camera shy? It would be nice to see her in some of these videos. Just saying. Ciao for now
@@WhentheDustSettles ditched the f250 with the cp4 was concerned about it failing as I do a lot of driving. Also I'm seeing much better fuel economy in the ram
We have a bear that’s been living around my neighborhood. I came up behind him when I was coming home from church and he was just walking down the street. I got my phone out to record him and once he noticed me driving behind him he took off into the woods like I caught him committing a crime.
Haha…that’s funny, Jason! He probably knew he wasn’t supposed to be there! We don’t have too many where I’m from, but occasionally they stumble through. Thanks for watching!

I heard the rain keeps the crowds away. We had a very peaceful drive so that may be the case. Enjoy the rest of your stay!
I bet you could barely eat all that🤣beautiful video. I so enjoy your narration.
Haha...at least someone likes my "punny" sense of humor! Thanks so much for the encouragement!

Another wonderful adventure hopefully you'll be able to catch a photo of a wild black bear. Keep up the great work Godspeed!
