I see a lot of people in global chat saying they are struggling with Devourer and asking for help/carries, when it's really not that bad. Just have a healthy amount of Toxic Resistance and decent DPS (with Electric DMG if possible) and shoot the big guy.
This build is not optimized, nor is my gameplay (I don't know if I should even be prioritizing the knees at the start) and I can still do it fairly comfortably. All gear shown is obtainable pre Devourer, as I haven't progressed to the next zone as of uploading this, and free-to-play (aside from using a minute amount of Caliber to speed up research so I could reroll stats on my Tamer).
My first clear was solo too, with a much worse build/weapons, but I died twice.

Dear god this helped so much! I was too stubborn to use anything but the thunder cage. Thank you for being one of the only people I’ve seen so far to help with the normal version

Just for me the hard part is the healing part. Those orbs are in an odd spot of between normal and tanky. A very annoying spot at that

U don't need to heal increase ur toxic residents and polytechnic antibody modules and use bunny u can move faster when u get heat by the boss... i passed him today.

@@Blue-pq5it I meant the boss healing. He does so when he makes those pods. Also I don’t really like playing as bunny. Just it’s her mechanics that give me issues mostly.
