An admirer of Sir Mattis. But it has to be reminded about the simple truth it is the Soviet Union who did the main job to defeat the nazi Germany in 1945. Most probably it wouldn't have done it without help of the "allies", or would have had twice as much deaths, but it has done the main job on the ground.

"I want to tell you what, from the Russian point of view, the president and the United States have done for victory in this war," Stalin said. "The most important things in this war are the machines.... The United States is a country of machines. Without the machines we received through Lend-Lease, we would have lost the war."

Ah General Mattis... What a man!
Never shoot an enemy, in fact is 1st war is the Gulf War with the rank of lieutenant colonel, and Mattis was considered an "intellectual" among the upper ranks!
When President Trump asked Mattis if his nickname was indeed "Mad Dog," Mattis replied, "No, sir," saying that his actual nickname was "Chaos. SO BADASS!!! Like a a kid playing with G.I.Joe!
And if this is not enough for you to understand how an incredible man he is, after the military, he served as a board member of Theranos with Elizabeth Holmes. CHAOS!!!

The last girl Cadet was wearing more decorations than the General himself. I wonder which wars did she fight in, given she mentioned she was declared unfit for active duty for certain reasons.

102:33...concerning "first principles," doesn't it stand to reason that the answer to the kid in the reserves makes no sense whatsoever, given the exposed corrupt nature of the individuals who pushed that whole "do or die" with military vaccine mandates, Mr. Mattis? After all, what is Constitutional about Nuremburgesque illegalities?

I completely disagree with the characterization of the January 6th protest as an attempt to overthrow the government. Especially when viewed through the lens of American military veteran participation - no serious thinker can presume that trained veterans would attempt to "overthrow the government" while being unarmed. I suggest the young man examine historical examples of actual insurrections around the world to learn the definition of a true coup attempt vs. a violent protest.
