Thank you James Mattis for introducing me to the OODA loop. I'm employing a modified variant of this type of thinking at work and people think I'm a genius. Their beliefs cannot be further from the truth.

I see bad kids, I see natural leaders with no outlet.
I lived and worked in NYC, and I didn’t have one bad experience.
    ..not even a street gang.
In my work, I gave natural leaders a task.
    They were great.
..and they did it in a very grownup way.
It got me thinking no stereotype is true.

Watching him talk, I can't see how the left wing media portrayed him in such a negative light when he was appointed.. He sounds like a very level headed guy

I don't ever remember him being portrayed negatively by anyone, except for recently by Trump. In fact, he was appointed with waivers, and without argument from Democrats or Republicans.

This has to be one of his best interviews yet, such excellent explanations and reveals a really unique insider perspective. I didn't know that stuff about Saudi Arabia and Yemen, for instance.

54:53 I think this is the first time I've heard somebody use the word "synergy" where it actually means something.

I was one of the Marines waiting on the flightline in Kandahar with cold weather gear on standby to fly into Tora Bora at 18:32. We trained for that, probably not coincidentally. We could have killed bin Laden in 2001. I believe Military Industrial Complex, Haliburton, etc., are the reasons we didn't kill bin Laden, back then. Watch at 14:09

I'm not going to watch this, but only dropped in to give a 'thumbs down' and say that he is not forgiven for his lousy Deep State antics when he retired. That was a crying' shame. "Because I used to love you - but it's all over now!"
